Global Security Listings
Business of War - NS's Newest Mercenary RP

Below, foreign governments may post their needs and contracts for different security companies to bid on. Companies may post their interest and intent to serve the contract, as a formal letter written to the sponsor country. Pay attention to the terms and conditions of each, as well as the requirements, as far as facilities, manpower, or even rules of engagement.

Companies may bid on as many contracts at once, but may not have a conflicting interest within their own company. However, two companies may serve contracts that can cause conflict between them. Once a contract has been sufficiently bid on, or the sponsor nation feels that they have found a good company/price, they will respond in kind to their prospective company and then sign the contract. At which point, the company will conduct their mission or contract in a separate thread.

Below are contracts to be bid on.

Note: When bidding, do not quote the contract. Instead, address a letter for your bid to the sponsor that signed of on the desired contract.

Global Security Listings,

On behalf of the United States government, we would like to formally place a contract forward for bidding.

This contract hereby requests that a company can seize, and hold the oil producing facilities in Juba, South Sudan. The Port is of strategic value due to the increased level of activity being seen there by rebel and insurgent forces, threatening the United State's ability to keep its oil needs met.

The only requirements are that this be conducted in a manner that defeats insurgent forces currently gathering in the surrounding townships, and ensure the facilities are safe during this year's manufacturing season. Civilian casualties are not acceptable under any circumstances, and will result in termination of this contract immediately. The Government of the United States is not interested in awarding more than $12 million dollars for this venture.

Sincerely,

Under Secretary John Bowen
U.S. State Department

Global Security Listings,

The government of Germany has found itself in a crisis, under which it feels a private company can adequately serve its needs. Recently, the German consulate in harare, Zimbabwe has been threatened with riots and violent protests, extending as far as to have bomb threats called in to the local police, forcing evacuations of the building. WHile the causes of these riots is purely political, we feel that unnecessary measures will be taken to injure the staff, and help the cause for the protestors.

As such, the German government respectfully requests that a company may serve our contract to bring the consulate staff from their current fortified position back to Germany, by any means necessary. The government of Germany is open to all quotes for this venture, however they will limit the bidding to a maximum of $3 million.

With thanks,

Karl Daunberg
Deputy Federal Foreign Minister

Global Security Listings,

The British government has recently discovered a predicament that is befitting of a private venture's services. Argentina has recently taken it upon themselves to mobilize more forces than agreed upon after the conclusion of the Falklands war in the area of the British territories of the Falklands. Therefore, the British government sees fit to destroy the Argentinian means of conducting an air campaign, by any means required to achieve the task. The government of His Majesty is not interested in giving more than $45 million in funds to any potential contractors.

The only requirement, is that no civilians are killed during this course of action, and no weapons prohibited by any of the Geneva conventions or UN protocols. The airfields and military facilities on the Falklands islands are available for use until the completion of the contract.

Sincerely,

John Wilmington
Under Secretary for State Defence

Global Security Listing,

The government of South Africa has become rather displeased with the current Botswanese regime that has been placed in power by its warlord-turned-President Milele Saila. The Ministry of Home Affairs requests that a company could remove the current regime, and ensure that the appointed Defense Secretary of the Democratic People's Party remains alive long enough to hold, and win democratically held elections.

This is to be accomplished without the use of weapons or means prohibited under any of the Geneva conventions. The government of South Africa is not looking to spend more that $22 million for this expense.

Global Security Listing,

The recent unrest in Iraq, as well as the surrounding Middle East has become a cause for concern for Imperial oil Limited, and as such has necessitated the hiring of private contractors to sort out issues that are unable to be corrected through diplomatic or financial means. Imperial Oil requires the contract signatory to engage Iraqi insurgents in the West Qurna oil fields, currently not allowing the government to control and regulate the oil pipelines there.

The Iraqi government has been informed, and has consented to a contractor performing this duty, however, by no means are they to be considered a friendly force to be relied upon. In dire circumstances, only the resources available to the contractor are to be used, as the Iraqi government sees this as a hands-off solution.

Civilians, as well as members of the Iraqi military and police are not to be harmed in any way, nor are the use of weapons prohibited by the Geneva conventions allowed to be use. Violation of such will necessitate a severance of the contract. Imperial oil has set the bidding to hit a cap of no more than $36 million. The Iraqi government will not formally acknowledge this deal, therefore the use of their airports or facilities is to be kept at a minimum.

Sincerely,

John McMillan
Vice President of Operations

Global Security Listing,

The people of Australia recently have had issues with their shipping industry, as major corporations worldwide have fallen under the threat of increased levels of piracy in South-East Asia. The contract is very simple, as the government is at the utmost levels of urgency with regards to this recent crisis. They require that the pirates off the Northwestern coast of the Australian mainland be reduced to a level where hijackings or pirate sighing are nearly zero, if not none by the end of the fiscal year.

Any means but those forbidden by the Geneva conventions are permitted in this venture. The government has allotted approximately $20 million in funds for this venture, but obviously more economical offers are always considered.

Yours,

John Barrowton
Minister for Immigration and Border Protection

Global Security Listings,

It has come to our attention that the drug problem in our country has come to a point where we can no longer avoid the drug war coming to a close. We must ensure that our country's stability is not jeopardized by these drug kings, and as such have sought it fit to file with your firm to search for the appropriate corporation.

The government of Laos is only interested in one things, which is ensuring the destruction of these drug manufacturing facilities, as well as their trade routes and points of export. In doing this, we must ensure complete discretion, as the people of our country must not know the efforts we are undergoing to maintain a stable nation. The most we can offer is $16 million, with assurances that no chemical or biological agents will be used by the signatory's forces.

Sincerely,

Dr. Nam Valaroy
Minister of Labour and Social Welfare

Global Security Listings,

It has come to our attention that certain factions within the Indonesian parliament and cabinet have begun a program of civil unrest aimed at toppling the current, democratic regime. These forces have retired during the legislative break to their oceanfront villas and private residences. It is required that these forces be removed, for the safety and security of the people of our nation.

We seek a company that has experience with discretion, and can ensure that their participation in our nation's security is kept very quiet. The people we need to have removed have dangerous friends, some among this circle of usurpers are the Minister of Defense and his Deputy Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, and the Minister of Transportation.

Please ensure that these problems are taken seriously, as this faction has a large pool of manpower and weaponry available. Please ensure that you are discreet, and do not use biological or chemical agents. If necessary, civilians casualties will not result in the termination of this contract. The loyalist government has allotted $9 million as compensations.

Sincerely,

Purnomo Matarwodojo
Secretary for State Affairs

Global Security Listings,

It has come to my attention that my own conventional forces cannot be seen conducting the business that this contract addresses, and therefore we respectfully request that you allow companies to bid for this contract. Recently, my family has come under great pressure, from both the Minister for State Security, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to step down as King of Thailand, and the Minister of Defense himself has secretly sworn for their faction.

I require that them, and all of their associates and family be killed, in as expedient a manner as possible. By any means necessary they are to be removed from power, and their followers either detained killed. For this, I have set aside $40 million of my own family's money, to ensure that the contractor is well compensated.

Sincerely,

Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand

Dear Your Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand,

Wet work, or the art of assassination can be a very delicate operation. You would trigger a small uprising in your nation if the people ever found out you had members of the democratically elected government assassinated. That is why you need Chevalier International for this mission. We have been completing wet work operations since 1998, and have become exceedingly efficient at it. Our highly efficient and professional staff can take care of this problem for you without incident, and most importantly without alerting anyone of your involvement.

Our quote for this mission will be 30 Million. Half to be paid up front, half to be paid upon successful completion. If you have any questions about personal, tactics, or even our mission statement please take a look at our website www.ChevalierInternationale.fr

Sincerly,

Henri d'Arc, CEO Chevalier International
