My map claim would be along the Orion-Cygnus arm, near/including the Solar System, given that there's no Earth at all anyway I presume this is alright?

BIt's already taken here's the map.

Surely they don't have the whole arm? I asked for the area around the Solar System anyway, which is more mid-center, not on the edge. And why are those so....big? That's more than a 100 systems in there....

Oh, and I thought I'd made it kinda clear with my name where I was.

-Atom Base (Carbon, silicon etc): Carbon
-Physical Appearance: Humanoid Cats basically, the Felane stand about six foot at full height. They're hair is coarser than humans and much longer, often reaching down to the small of their back for females or the shoulder blades for males, always growing in one continuous strand much like a ponytail. Their olive coloured skin shows no sign of aging, instead it is shown through their hair, whilst up to maturity (around 20 human years) it is a dark brown colour after they mature their hair starts to lighten, until eventually at death their hair is completely sandy coloured. They also have olive fur on their back and sides of their torso, slightly darker than their skin. Their figure is lithe and agile.

Technological Base: T'au (Warhammer 40k)
Number of Systems under control at start of RP (0-Fleet based to 6 for new nations): Three Planets under full Felane control, one shared with Powered. Asteroid bases.
Historical Info: The Felane have lived in city states since the start of record history, at some times their home planet Hane-Hah could be united under a powerful alliance of states across it's two continents. At other times it was in an continental free for all. At the dawn of the space age the planet was finally bought under control of one City State, the Felane Capital of Nyx. As they expanded out onto other planets the discovered Terazine in large quantities, something Hane-Hah missed, with it's only deposits of the mineral being in meteorites that had hit its surface. Finding almost half the planets in their system with huge deposits of the stuff the Felane colonized what they could, putting only a small colony on Forgani (Or as the Felane call it Forgee-Anii) to mine out the Terazine they needed for their spacecraft. Centuries later the Felane were a trio of planets all vying for dominance as once again they fell back to their old ways. The arrival of the Humans bought a shock to them, as they landed on and colonized a planet with large amounts of Terazine, watching from afar the Felane slowly approached the Humans, or the Powered as each generation of them living on Terazine soil changed them into. Whilst the merging of the two races was slow when complete and the League was formed the two became a powerful group, the more advanced Felane and the more numerous Powered looked outwards of the Carthigenia system and saw much.

Anything Else you want to add?: Grand Admirals are given psionic implants that allow them to communicate between each other so long as they are within the same system as one another.

Historical Info: Originally Human Colonists protected by Mercenaries they settled in the Carthigenia System on Tarsoni, a fertile planet who's species hadn't evolved past a stage equivalent to the Human's Stone age. Quickly wiping out the indigenous species the Humans proceeded to build cities there. In space however they quickly met the more technologically advanced Felane, a shaky alliance was formed between the two strange species and for years the humans wondered why the Felane never settled on Tarsoni. The answer came a few generations later as humans began being born with abnormal abilities or powers. it turned out Tarsoni had a large deposit of a mineral named Terazine creating a thin layer about ten metres below the surface, the mineral had a radiation that was lethal to Felane without protective suits, whilst it caused genetic mutation in humans. Within the next ten generation no normal humans were left, only the Powered as they became known. In general the Powered are faster, cleverer and stronger than normal humans with a greater endurance. Special Powered have other abilities, for example the ability to manipulate the earth or water. Now with full understanding the Powered expanded onto Cardoni, another planet with large Terazine deposits and Forgani, originally a Felane mining colony for Terazine which occurred in smaller deposits here. It expanded as both species arrived and terraformed the planet. When the Felane and Powered looked beyond their systems they agreed to ally, their planets before being largely independent of one another now combined into the Carthigenic League of Planets, whilst the Fleet of each planet became part of the overall Space Navy of the League the Grand Admirals of each fleet remained pseduo-independent.

As a general add on: The Fleets will be acting much more as mercenary fleets/bounty hunters unless their home system is threatened so if people want to hire them out contact me. (They won't be cheap however).

The Segmentians have the left third, the south of the Higarans have the middle, and the United Human Systems have the edge. The arm is occupied. I can put you "north west" of the Human Systems, but UHS has the area around Sol first. I'm sorry. There's only so much one person can do, and even If we did have a billion-pixels wide map I wouldnt waste the hundreds of thousands of terabytes it would take to store. To explain the map, The dot is the Empire capitol. THE BORDER DESIGNATES THE NATION"S EXTENT OF INFLUENCE AND DESIGNATES THE AREA OF CONTROL, NOT EVERY STAR INSIDE THE ZONE IS COLONIZED. Cygnus is the "Parent Arm" of Orion. Earth and Sol reside in Orion, not Cygnus.
