Also, what sort of power armor are these troops even being equipped with? Spartans cost a ton of money and require lots of augmentations from a young age. Space Marines get theirs from an unimaginably large empire with funds that are likely never repaid, along with unique geneseeds. Even in Fallout, power armor requires extensive training and not every soldier is equipped with it.

The absence of light infantry would be a terrible hindrance.

Size has its pros and cons in an urban enviroment , without power armor I would agree that it would be Better to be small but with powerful armor off-setting the primary disadvantages I do believe a physically stronger opponent would have a slight advantage

@Seg I know war is economics but it your men are dying by the hundreds of thousands during every campaign you can only sustain a war for so long with those kind of losses , the civilian populace gets tired seeing their sons come home I'm box's . Not saying it would be any easier for an "elitist " army but I personally would think a stalemate would ensue , niether side being able to take and hold ground

I can hit more places with more forces, while others scramble to cover all the campaigns. Most likely the 'elitist' military gets over-stretched and my forces can make major advances against them.

That's why the Yisuta have scouts, which are their light infantry.

Also, the Yisuta military is not all power armor, the Kondons(Forget how it's spelled) only wear carapace armor, and act as militia during wartime.

Like Halo armor, except less focus on augmenting strength and more focus on enhancing survivability and agility. Also, a thousand times cheaper after a thousand years of perfection.

We do have light infantry, which is what the Oninin serve as besides pilots. They wear semi-powered armor; providing increased physical protection and either shielding or flight pods, although there is no strength-enhancement which, with the smaller frame and weakness compared to Oni, means that big variety of CCW is gone, reduced to a Blazer and knife.

In both cases the power source is too weaker to simultaneously power flight pods, shields, and servos in all but the best suits; worse for the Oninin, who again due to strength must choose between pods and shields as equipment.

I'm aware that it would be a major problem covering large tracts of ground which would be impossible for an elitist force


As to the cost of augments ect. My entire military is equip with power armor mainly because my species does not require physical augmentations for it to work and my ships pay the price by suffering reduced quality and lacking shields at the moment ,

The Project Black-water which is in my post every so often is my actually genetic , cybernetic and physical augmentation of my troops I have yet to present them yet but they will be called Highborn Rangers - they possess the ability to regenerate like the Albinos of the highborn species and are smarter , stronger and faster then normal highborn by a long shot , don't worry I won't spam them with god power I only plan on having a brigade at full strength --

But this is all off set by my weaker then average fleet

It's two km, the superstructure is a rectangle slanted slightly forward like an eraser, and has two 600 meter pods with the engines on either side of the aft.
