Even at this rate, the canal won't be done for another 9 IC days. Can we speed things up a bit to 6 months per IC day?

I suppose so, but take it in mind, every country is ruled by someone, and invading it will carry the same consequences.

...Unless people are friendly with your nation so they ignore it, that is.

Which is of course why I have decided to take the oil wells in Georgia just now as well as the neighboring countries.

Meanwhile, Ragnarum has slightly leaked aircraft plans on this occasion, the designs show a sleek, snub nosed and steamlined aircraft, that appears to have a lot of armament for its size. (and the date). Aviation experts have predicted it might be an excellent turn fighter.

Oh well, it doesn't matter much anyway.

Speaking of the Canal, Vjörn workers have just reached the middle of the isthmus, clearing and digging through the flatlands relatively easily. Now, however, we are reaching the Tenasserim hills. We've been dynamiting the mountains there since the start of the project, but still, the hills are too high for the canal. This stage of the project is expected to go on for six more months, until we remove enough material from the valley to make a working marine passageway.

To facilitate construction of the canal, Uieurnthlaal annexes the remains of the Kingdom of Thailand, which currently only consists of the Ranong and Chumphon provinces. This is in exchange for a ₭500,000 (IC $90,000,000) payment to the government, now a semi-autonomous territory.

Nobody talks about this, but the map is modern, also, the year of the start of this RP is before the Baltic states where annexed.

Finally, Vjörn workers complete the most arduous section of the Kra Canal, as it will be called. We have cleared through a narrow lake at sea level into a valley between the Tenasserim hills. All that's left to do now is to dig the canal the rest of the way, and build the infrastructure around the canal to make it fully functional as a water passage.
