I will respond to your blockade and send you a letter, today

Is it better to be at the mercy of the US than having two or more powers in South America to play out against one another?
In any case I don't plan on staying around in Latin America for long. A shelling of Buenos Aires, sinking of the Argentine navy and an arms deal with rebel groups in Argentina occupied Para- and Uruguay would be the maximal scope of an operation.

Why then bother keeping out one other? Why would Brazil risk alienating the one great power that has no colonial ambitions just to permit Argentina to be the North Korea of Latin America?
Not to mention that Russia has fairly good relations with all three above mentioned (Gibberan already gave the green light by tg for a Russian attack, UK-Russia cooperated in Denmark and Norway and Russia and Austria-Hungary is doing reproachment) and may just ally with one or more of them if it can't get its things done on its own.

Because if every European power comes to Latin America, then we will soon become another China...

And what country is it that patrols the world as another hard pressed policeman trying to keep countries independent and sovereign? Russia have no desire to see Latin America made into another China, making China into China is exhausting enough as it is, and wish to keep the status quo outside its own Near Abroad.
If the Latin American countries in wishes to avoid becoming a new China then it should look to countries with more territorial ambitions than Russia.

America is the answer to your first question.
