Also, I should note that iron-working is a fairly new phenomenon, only understood in this age by the Hittites IRL, eg me. Egypt, to my knowledge, didn't have it and didn't even adopt it widely for another thousand years.

May I suggest we stop the tech BS? Just cause in our timeline the Hites were the Iron masters it doesn't mean the men with control over their teritorry in this RP will also have that tech. As long as we have the resources and a certain year is passed we should be able to advance if anyone else does.

I am in the same predicament, I sent colonists to Southern France in page 5, and was wondering the same thing.

Based on population estimates of Ancient Egypt around this time, I'd say my population is around 2.5-3.5 million. I'd say the Ameralites and the Mesopotamians probably have a pretty similar number, and everyone else being lower. I'd guess that your population, Drako, given that you have a smaller nation, would probably be 1-2 million? I'd probably say about the same or less for Adurnak.

Culture?:Gora culture is based around the Horse, and horsemen ship, they see the horses as a sign of peace, and are sacred to the Gora. Of course, that does not stop them from using them as instruments of war. All able body men and women are trained to fight, and infantry is normally filled with the youth, with the old men being on Horseback, through there is exceptions. Horse Archery is a common practice in the Gora horde, through their is spear and sword cavalry.

Technology isn't universal though; it never has been. Do you think Persian phalanxes are just going to appear as soon as Alexander's time comes? Or that Iberians will use claymores?
