Well, he could have the numbers, if the larger nomad band was twenty to forty thousand individuals strong. I'm more perturbed by the horses, since horsed nomads would use them for cargo, not riding. Not to mention they would be donkeys, ponies, and doughty farm horses and haulers, not warhorses.

Here is an idea I have.
For new players to know what is going on (later on) as we progress in tech/eras, at the end of each era we should make something like a history book of what our people did and why they did. Like my expansion in Anatolya would be "A historic decision, caused by the unique traits of General Antiochos, the military spirit/culture of the Drakonians and compettition with the neighbouring Greeks and Ameralites"

I'm probably mostly Germanic, as the Anglo-Saxons fled to Lowland Scotland during the Norman invasions, and decided that Scottish women are hot, and you can probably guess what happens next.
It kind of works like this: first we were the Picts, then we got invaded by the Gaels, then as Gaelic folk we got invaded by the Romans, then the Anglo-Saxons invaded and we became the "English" Scots, then the English again, then we get moved to Ulster, and so on and so on.

I'd say that's out of our range for colonization, but trade could reach that far.

Also, Drako, I have a colony on the Southern coast of France (the two provinces between the Itilcans and the other Italian guy, who's name I don't feel like searching for), and also the two provinces to the South of my current ones in Northern Africa.

The Indus River Valley? Pacifist morons, I say! The south is pretty much open, to my knowledge. Should I introduce my epic architecture and lettering, therefore my culture, to the barbarian south, I could probably establish some client states, or cultural colonies.
