What colonial empire? All the city-states are mostly independent, in the classical Greek system. Colonies don't pay taxes and receive protection from the mother city, elect their own leaders, and in exchange have no trade tariffs for mother city traders and contribute men to the central armies in time of war.

The logic in me ignoring land, mainland Gaul for example, and settling elsewhere?
If it bothers you that I've landed in Brittany, a move I was planning since Page 5, I'll edit it if you wish and land in Northern Spain.
