Eric was impressed when Llyr created a bouquet of flowers from seemingly nothing. "Wow that's amazing. It's awesome that so many of Salma's have cool powers." He heard Salma's comment about the time "Ya I'm hungry too, do you know what their serving?"

"Good. Now that the unpleasantness is over we can enjoy ourselves." Seth grinned as Llyr created the flowers, "That's an interesting trick you have there. Quite impressive." He winced inwardly when Llyr gave Mira rose but then he remember his relationship with his twin and passed such an act off as a friendly gesture. "I saw some of the crystallized pomegranate seeds. Those are incredibly good so I suggest you all try at least a handful. They are a tad on the sweet side and meant as a mild desert or a appetizer."

[Tarnen]

Alex walked into a room full of people, all dressed in suits and dresses. Honestly he couldn't see anyone he recognized, which made him feel uneasy. Alex wasn't used to this kind of luxury, only one other time he had worn a suit and he was just a little kid at his aunt's wedding, which he doesn't remember at all. Alex tugged at his collar as he continued to walk through the crowds, unsure of where to go.

Matt stayed quiet and watched the people around him interact. He was thinking about what Seth offered him, and decided he wasn't going to go through with it. He liked having his soul, and besides, demons were a bit unpredictable, in his experience.

He looked at the small crowd of people. He found it funny how they didn't even notice he was there. His eyes fell onto one he didn't recognize, however. Her name was apparently Marcella. It was obvious she was another vampire, he recognizes one of his kind when he sees one.

He slowly backed up from the group, and went to lean on the tree near him. He was curious about the package he had to deliver, but didn't want to touch it because he knew it was charmed.

Llyr and Siobhan nodded. "That sounds quite delicious, I'd like to try some." Siobhan interjected. "I find the pomegranate interesting, it has soft seeds and no flesh unlike other fruits." Salma spoke to Eric. "I know Aurelia prepared most of the menu and the main course is gonna be this pasta dish." "At the end they have this awesome cake and I can't wait to taste it." "Of course the best part of the party will be getting to dance with you." she smiled at her boyfriend. In the palace, Aurelia spoke to John. "Mom is a great mom, even before I was born." "Well here's an unusual story, when my mom was pretty far along in her pregnancy she and dad had to run away from the hunters to this secret location and it was quite far away." "Angelic pregnancies only last about seven or eight months since we develop faster than full human babies, but Mom held on for an extra four months until we got to where we needed to go, so the hunters wouldn't kill us." "Keeping a pregnancy longer than necessary was dangerous and she nearly died when she gave birth, but she actually held on for our sakes."

Eric nodded, being a werewolf he had been hoping for steak or something similar. Eric couldn't help but like red meat, and like it served a little rare. He certainly wasn't going to complain though. Eric smiled at Salma and took her hand. "I can't wait to dance with the prettiest girl at the party."
John listened to Aurelia's story and was amazed "Wow that's incredible, It's amazing how much she did for you. That's love if I've ever heard of it." Hearing about how much Aurelia's parents did for her made him think about his own father. Jupiter had never been there for John, helped him with any of his problems or respond to any of his prays. It mad him sad to think about, and a little angry "My dad never did anything like that for me, or my mom. He never helped us when we were struggling with money, or when I was getting in trouble for fighting. I don't think he ever really cared about us." John tried not to sound too bitter. He remebered when he fought with Jupiter on Olympus in front of Aurelia. She clearly didn'tunderstand his anger, how could she when she had parents as great as she did?

[New Cinoth]

Seth grinned, "This will certainly be an interesting party." He watched as Matt moved off a little, Hopefully he won't try touching the package. I don't want to have to undo any harm that comes from that. "They are quite delicious. And the crystallized sugar makes them mildly sweet." Seth watched as Salma and Eric spoke to each other, Is that how couples behave? How.... Interesting. "Well the food certainly sounds great. And we are probably all aware of Aurelia's abilities to cook good food." He looked around, "We might want to head inside now, so we won't be late for the party."

IC: Suddenly, Tsanis saw a very dirty boy in a hoodie walk by him. That kid looks too normal. What is he? demon, angel, vampire, spirit.....

I might as well explore the school thought Tsanis. He walked around and memorized where everything is. Wait a minute, where is everybody? Oh well, it doesn't matter. I think I'll go to the training area.

Tsanis looked at his paper again. "Wait a minute.....this is the wrong school!" He slowly backed out the door and never returned.

Aurelia put a hand on John's shoulder to comfort him. "I'm really sorry John, that had to have been rough for you." "I'm not going to lie to you and say I feel your pain because I've never been through that." "My dad wasn't around for two years only because he was killed by hunters and God decided to bring him back very recently." "At least you got Eric, your mom and your stepdad. You have people that love you, and I can see you're happy for that." "And I don't mean to sound insensitive but have you ever tried telling your dad how you feel or is it impossible for you guys?" "I know you tried on Olympus but were there any other times?" "And here's the thing, what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger." "You're a stronger person at the end because of it." Meanwhile, Salma nodded. "Yeah, we better get in there before they have the party without us." Mira straightened her robe and Yulan got up and dusted off her skirt. Llyr and Siobhan stood behind one another with their parents in front.

John nodded "I know, and I'm grateful for my family, and my friends. They mean the world to me. It just annoys me, Jupiter is a god. He can be anywhere he wants, do anything he wants. Why couldn't he spend some time with us? Show me he cared? Answer my prays, or anything." Her question caught him off guard. "I tried talking to him, I used to pray to him everyday when I was kid. He never answered. I know I probably am stronger beacuse he wasn't around and I had to take care of myself and my family, but I hate him. I would never abandon my child like that." He shook his head "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go off like this. Let's just forget about it. Let's enjoy the party."
Eric nodded to Salma and followed her into the palace as the party was starting soon.

After talking to several staff members, Selena finally got moved to a different room, this ine had a extra room which was a personal workout area for the previous owner, and a djinn harlem before that. She roled up her suitcase jntk there oafter dropping her other bags than taking a look around she began to image how she wanted it to be all set up. Once she figured it out she told the designer how she wanted things arranged, he than made up a moddle and had the carpenters get to work on the room. In the main room she went ahead and hung up her clothes and took care of her other personal stuff, some of which she buried deep down as possible. Having suscubus for a mother who expects you to have sex on a nightly basis can be very annoying particularly since zhe expected it to be with guys, even though Selena was lesbian.

Seth grinned and followed Mira, And now for the dance. Hopefully I don't step on her toes or anything. Seth is light on his feet, mostly because he was a featherweight in general, but his dancing skills were a little unpolished. He looked at their small group, Eric and Salma, the twins, their parents, and him and Mira. Seth looked down at Mira's hand, Hmmm... maybe.... She might let me... "hey... Um.. Mira would it be okay if I," His voice got softer as he spoke, "Held your hand while we walked?" He bit the bottom of his lip nervously.

Mira turned to Seth, her red tinted cheeks becoming slightly redder. She then nodded. "It's alright with me, I have no problem with it." Yulan grinned behind them as they walked into the palace. Aurelia hated seeng John upset and wanted to get him to talk but she decided not to press him. Asteria suddenly spoke up. "Mr. John, you wanna play a game?" "It's called Mirror Match, you close your eyes and somebody gives you a person and then you hafta say what they look like." "I'll give you some first and then you give me some." The little girl could speak surprisingly well for her age, she then assigned John people to describe. "Remember, close your eyes." "Okay, describe...Grandma Marie and Grandpa Raph."

John saw Aurelia was still concerned about him and pushed his anger aside. He gave her a small smile and mouthed "I'm fine." He then turned to Asteria and gave her a bright smile "Sure Asteria, I'd love to play a game with you." He listened as she described the rules, then closed his eyes trying to remember what Aurelia's parents looked like. "Well... They're both wearing green and black." He said to Asteria as that was the first thing he thought of. "Your grandmother has red hair and your grandfather has black hair." John said listing everything he could remeber.

[New Cinoth]

Seth turned slightly red, "Thanks..." I've got to learn to control my body somehow.... All this blushing and pauses probably get on her nerves.... But she's so hot... And friendly... This will certainly be a hard one. I wonder what Yulan will think if we did start dating. Hmmmm. Seth held Mira's hand as his worries soon faded away, "Hey do you think they will be announcing people as they enter? That would be pretty cool." He grinned excitedly as the approached the dance hall, This is going to be incredible. I bet the after party will be pretty wild, especially because of the demon rum....

Asteria grinned. "Close, but you forgot the eyes." "Grandpa's eyes are blue and Grammy has green eyes and freckles." "Okay, now you give me one." Meanwhile, Mira and the group made it inside the palace as Salma looked at her phone. "6:45" "Dad's gonna do a speech for Mom and then the party's gonna start." The decorations were lovely, not too ornate and cast a warm glow over the hall where more and more guests were gathering."

John smiled and thought about who he should ask her to describe. He turned to Aurelia and smiled "Okay, describe your mom."
Eric followed Salma into the palace and when they reached the hall where the party was taking place he was amazed at how good the decorations looked. "Wow, it's beautiful Salma."

[Nuridia]

Asteria closed her eyes. "Okay, Mommy is really tall with long black hair and blue eyes, she has Grandma's face and really light freckles." Aurelia stood under the light, the freckles on her nose and cheeks were pretty faint but they were there. Aurelia looked like a blend of both of her parents. Salma nodded. "I know, isn't it wonderful?" "Of course the people are the best part." Suddenly, on a balcony above the stairs a herald called out. "Greetings party guests, before we begin the festivities tonight we would first like to present a speech written by our own Emperor Kalden, and after that a short poem by Princess Salma." The emperor walked over to the platform and stood with a notebook in his hands. "Greetings everybody, as you know today is my wife Gisela's four hundredth birthday.

[Tomia]

John smiled, he was impressed at how good Asteria's memory was. He smiled looking at Aurelia, thinking about how beautiful she was. He wanted to tell her that but didn't want to say anything in front of Asteria. He hope they told her the truth soon, because while he was afraid how she would react, he didn't like this secrecy. John nodded "Good job Asteria, that was perfect." He turned around when he heard Salma's father being introduced and listened to the speech.
Eric was suprised when he heard Salma would be reading a poem. He wondered what it would be about.

[Nuridia]

Asteria grinned. "Thank you! I got the closest so I win!" "You did good too though." Meanwhile, the emperor was speaking to the people. "Dearest Gisela, when we met it was one of the happiest days of my life." "I visited your country on vacation and when I saw you standing there all I thought was how badly I wanted to speak to you." "You didn't really want to talk to me at first but eventually we warmed up to each other, you warmed up a little more than I did and I got burned holding your hand." Salma and her mother started laughing at that, Gisela's eyes leaking with happy tears as the emperor continued. "We spent a lot of time together and then we eventually got married, although it was hard it was worth it." "A lot of people didn't accept you because you're a fire jinn but you eventually won most of them over." "You've given me a lot of things, happiness, love, the best years of my life and of course a beautiful fiery daughter." he looked over at Salma and smiled at her. "I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love you and I'm very lucky to have you." The empress was crying now and Salma went over to her before walking up to the stand herself. "Hi everybody." "I just wanna say how much I love you Mom and I think you're the best." "Here's a poem for you, I looked it up and thought it would be perfect because unfortunately I suck at writing poems." Gisela and the guests chuckled at that as Salma cleared her throat and began to speak. "But this one just spoke to me and reminded me of you."

Seth grinned as he saw the decorations, "Wow these decorations are wonderful." He looked out over the crowd. There's quite a few people here." He sighed and cast a sideways glance at Mira, Wow! She looks great in that dress. I certainly enjoy that taste of eastern culture. Mira can certainly wear that dress well./i] He chuckled, [i]This will certainly be a fun party. Hopefully I 'll get a few dances in with Mira. He hear the announcer tell them the party was just about to begin. He listened to the speech, That was rather sweet of him. As Salama recited her poem Seth winced again and again as pain shot through his body at the mention of God's name.

[Nuridia]

After finishing her poem, Salma curtsied to her mother and then looked at Seth who was wincing in pain. "Whoops, sorry Seth." She gave him an apologetic smile as Mira looked over at him. "Seth, you okay?" Yulan looked at the demon. "He looks like he's having a seizure or somethin'. I guess demons are allergic to....the guy upstairs." The princess was careful not to say God again in front of Seth, her sister wouldn't be happy if she did.

Eric was amazed at Salma's poem. He couldn't believe how talented she was, and how able she was to express her feelings. He had also been impressed with the Emperor's speech. He admired how much he seemed to care for his wife and could relate to what he said about fire jinn. He remembered times when Salma would get upset or emotional, it certainly was surprising. When Salma finished Eric hugged her and said "Wow, Salma that was beautiful."
John was impressed with Salma's poem. She continued to surprise him with how mature she was. He felt bad for not trusting her when she first started dating Eric. He turned to Aurelia and said "Wow, that was really good. Salma is pretty amazing. I feel bad that I didn't trust her when she first started dating Eric.

As Abdul was adjusting his medals, a searing pain went down his back. As he had straightened the Baath Party pin on his breast, he heard the name of that accursed arrogant being who proclaimed omnipotence. As Salma repeated the name of God, he curled up slightly, shivering slightly. As it ended, he straightened up, wincing."I really do hope that I won't have to hear that again." muttered Abdul. "Can't wait for Raphael's speech."
