Eric nodded to Salma, he was sad she was going to have to leave, but knew she had things to do. "Okay, I'll see you soon Salma." When she left Eric got up and walked to his room thinking he should get ready for the party himself. He figured John was still with Aurelia and thought about getting him but figured he would get ready soon enough and bother.

Seth was too stunned to speak, She'd like to date me?! Well I guess this pushes aside the decades I had planned... Hmmm but it's not such a bad thing.... I wonder if things will work out. Seth turned bright red, "I.... Well... You... Thanks Mira." He said, finally able to put together a coherent sentence. "You are a great girl too. I can honestly say I've never met a girl like you." He nodded slowly, "I also think more time is required... Just to be safe... But after we are both sure I would be delighted to date you." Seth frowned at the news, "Well... I guess it's party time. We'll meet up here before the ball just as planned right?"

Mira nodded. "Of course." "We all have to get ready, it'll probably take an hour or two for everyone to finish." The girls ran back inside the palace, Salma and Marie got ready in the same room because Marie wanted to surprise her husband. Raphael had put on a black and green dress tunic, green leggings and black shoes. Aurelia and Asteria were getting ready in a dressing room and Yulan and Mira were getting themselves ready as the emperor and empress got ready in their room. After a while, everybody was done and the whole process took about an hour and a half so the guests weren't expected for a good fifteen minutes and the party itself didn't start until seven. Salma and Marie stepped out first, Raphael smiled and walked toward his wife. "You look beautiful my angel." "You're pretty easy on the eyes yourself my dearest." Marie smiled at him wearing a black and green gown so the couple were a matching pair. Yulan and Mira came out second, and Aurelia and Asteria were finished last. The imperial couple would come out last and so Salma led her friends back downstairs with diamonds sparkling on her neck, ears and wrists and in her hair. She wondered what Eric would think of her outfit. Mira went to go find Seth before the guests showed up.

Seth had gotten dressed quickly in the relatively simple suit that he had bought. Seth spent a bit of time cutting open the back of the suit so his wings could fit through without being crushed or squeezed. After he was done Seth spent the better part of the remaining time looking for Falan so he could ask for advice. Seth knew how to handle desperate and needy people but he was never informed on how to deal with someone who he actually liked and they like him back. When he found Falan he practically dragged the werewolf to the garden. "Falan! We have an emergency. I have no idea what to do about Mira. She said she liked me and that she wouldn't mind dating me." He sighed, "I'm not exactly used to this situation, and since you've had girlfriends I was wondering how should I proceed on this one." Seth was nervously shaking.

Falan was shocked at the abruptness at which Seth grabbed him. "Seth, dude!" "Calm down man, you're gonna tear my suit!" He calmed down and sighed when Seth asked him the question. "She likes you? Well that's great man, what're you freaking out about?" "Isn't that what you wanted?" "Well dude, it's wonderful that you too have gotten this far and so here's my advice." "Obviously she likes you for you so I say just relax, keep being yourself and tell her how you really feel." "Don't be too nervous or you might scare her off, but just be you and keep doing what you're doing because it seems to be working for you now." "It's 4:55, the guests should start coming in 5 minutes so if you're gonna meet with her you better get moving man."

Eric and John both took showers then went to their rooms to get dressed. John hated getting dressed up but knew he would have to for this. Besides Eric and John wanted to impress their girlfriends.
Eric had gotten dressed and was in his room when John knocked on the door. John opened it and saw John dressed in a suit with his hair combed neatly looking unhappy. "I look ridiculous." John muttered fidgeting with his tie. Eric smiled, he knew John didn't like to dress up and certainly didn't like combing his hair. "You look good, besides don't you want to impress Aurelia?" John nodded and the two of them walked downstairs together.
When Eric saw Salma his jaw dropped. He couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. He walked up to her and stammered "Wow... You look amazing." John smiled when he saw Aurelia. She looked beautiful in her dress. He walked up to her "You look beautiful Aurelia."

"Oh... Sorry." He brushed off Falan's suit,"I do.... It's just I'm nervous. I've never felt this way and I have no idea what to do." Seth nodded as he listened to Falan, "Thanks Falan I guess you are right. I shouldn't freak out so much. Hopefully things will go well. Well see you at the party, good luck on finding a good wolf-girl. Just remember if you like her and she isn't a wolf you can give her a good nibble. That'll get her howling, if you know what I mean." He nudged Falan lightly. "I guess I'd better go wait for Mira now. I'd hate to be late for her. See you later." Seth waved and set off for the garden. When he arrived he saw Mira was already there. "Mira? You look beautiful!" he looked her over and was impressed by her dress. "That is certainly a wonderful dress for you to wear, it fit's you perfectly."

IC: Falan laughed. "Yeah, that'll certainly leave her asking for me." "Alright dude, go and get your flirt on." Falan went back into the palace and Mira saw Seth walk toward her. "Thank you Seth, may I say your suit is very sharp on you." Her hair was pinned with bright red peonies and her crimson rouge, eye and lip makeup was done tastefully, noticeable but not overpowering. "Well the guests should be coming now and we have almost a good two hour before the party starts." Meanwhile, Salma saw the effect her outfit had on Eric and smiled before walking toward him. "Thanks Eric, you're very handsome in a suit yourself." "Well you look good in anything but the suit is like its made for you." "This is going to be a great night, will you save me a dance?" Salma asked. Aurelia blushed when she saw John looking at her and smiled. "Thanks, that's a lot coming from a guy as handsome as you." Asteria stood by Aurelia, her Mary Janes yellow to match her dress and the flowers in her hair. Salma's mother and father came down suddenly, the emperor wearing his navy suit with all the military medals. "Mom, happy birthday!" "And Dad, you two look great." "Mom I love your gown." "Thanks Salma, you look just like a true princess." the emperor smiled. Just then, two voices, one Russian accented and one Romanian accented entered the fray. "Well hello Salma, it's nice to see you again." Salma's eyes widened and she smiled broadly at the footsteps approaching the group. "Hey Nicki, Marci, it's been so long." Salma hugged the girls and introduced them to her friends. "Guys, this is Grand Duchess Nichola, daughter of Tsar(Emperor) Alexander V of Russia." "And this is Princess Marcella Neva, daughter of the vampire king Vladimir of Merope." Nichola and Marcella curtsied and extended a well manicured hand to the group to shake. "It's nice to meet you all, Salma told me she had new friends and a new beau, we're all dying to meet them.

"Thanks..." Seth said, blushing, "You look absolutely stunning." He looked around nervously, "We have two hours before the party starts? What would you like to do until then." Seth was a little nervous about being near Mira, especially now that he knew she liked him. "You know how you said that Lanwe had a council of some kind? I was just thinking what if we did start dating and they didn't approve. Demons aren't know for their pristine morality and they might think is't a bad example for the people. Especially because of my type..."

Eric blushed and grinned at Salma's compliment "Thanks Salma, that means a lot." He smiled when she asked if he'd save her a dance. He wasn't the lightest on his feet, or the best dancer, but he certainly wasn't going to tell her no. Smiling, he replied "You're the only one I'd want to dance with."
John smiled at Aurelia "Thanks, I tried to look my best for you." He saw Asteria out of the corner of his eye and mentally chided himself. He should be more careful about what he said and did around Asteria until they told her about their relationship. John bent down in front of Asteria and smiled "You look really pretty tonight Asteria. I love your flowers."
John and Eric both turned when they heard voices talking to Salma. They both seemed Eastern European and they saw Salma hug both of them. They approached them behind Salma and greeted them shakin their hands. Eric was a little nervous to meet Salma's friend and spoke first "Hi, I'm Eric, Eric Lauden, it's nice to meet you both." John spoke next "My name's John Evans, Eric's brother. It's good to meet both of you."

Tsanis walked into the building. He went over to the front desk. "Hi, I'm Tsanis. I'm new here". "Oh, hi" the lady at the front desk said. "You are in room.......704. And here is a paper telling where everything is, okay?" "Okay" He walked into his dorm room and looked around. "Hmm, this could use some......renovation." He pulled out a mallet from his black bag and maked a big crack in the wall. Sand started pouring out. "Good. Now lets see this paper. You can hunt here, huh?" Tsanis walked into the forest. Well, let's see." Suddenly, Tsanis saw a fox. He raised his hand and the fox was lifted into the air. He made his hand into a fist and the fox immediately fell onto the ground, dead . He picked it up and put it into his black bag. He walked back to his room and sat in a chair in the middle of the room. "I guess I'll just wait for my roommate, whoever that is, to show up."

Selena got dropped off by her dad, "remember honey me and your mom both love you, make lots of weird friends while your here also, love ya."

Selena pulled her stuff away from the car with two duffel bags and a suit case the duffel bags contained things you would normally expect a teenage female to have one more causal the other her mom had packed half of (she is a suscubus figure it out), and the suit case felt like it had an anvil in it, which was only hakf the weight, the rest was the rest of her personal collection if smithing tools. Dragging the stuff in she got past the front desk and all the way to her room, she found a surprise, someone seemed to have moved in and made a freakish mess. "What the..." she was totally lost of speech not sure what to say, the room's demensions were totally screwed up and somehow there was a forest and a desert in it.

Tsanis smiled. "I'm glad you could show up. I.......fixed up the place to my liking.....but I'm not sure how I made it bigger on the inside. Oh well. The name's Tsanis. I guess you could say I'm a sand-demon. I'm not actually related to demons at all, though."

"It's really nice to meet you, Salma wouldn't stop talking about you on Skype or VChat. it was gushing about Eric all the time." Salma turned deep red and Nichola smiled. Aurelia turned to her parents. "You guys are matching." "I see the color coordinating you got there, it's cute and stylish." "Yeah, we're like Bill Gates and Melinda." Raphael said grinning and Marie smiled at him blushing. "Conquering the world together." Marie added. Meanwhile, Mira turned to Seth in the garden. "Well, my council cares more about position than race." "I don't give a crap about position, I'm in it because I care about the person I'm with." "They'll be a bit shocked about me bringing a demon to meet them, especially Ophir." "He's the Keeper of the Archives and he's a 7,427 year old angel." "He can be a bit severe and picky in protecting me but he's a good guy, like an uncle to me and Yulan." "I'm sure they'll eventually get to like you once you show them how good you are."

I want to be with them because I like them." He nodded slowly, "I'd be surprised if they weren't shocked. You don't often see a beautiful girl with a demon." He frowned at the mention of an angel, "Oh... Angels and I aren't really the best of friends. Most of them think corruption demons are bad since they take souls. He might like me a little bit more than normal since I'll be kicking the devil off his high horse."

Eric blushed when Nichola and Marcella greeted him, and took Salma's hand when she saw she was embarrassed. Well Salma's a great girl, I'm lucky to have her." John smiled at the comment, then when Aurelia was done talking to her parents he turned to he smiling "So I never actually asked you this but I guess I should. Will you be my date to the party?"

IC: Aurelia turned to John. "I would love to be your date tonight John." A smile lit up her face and there was a spark in those blue eyes. Salma turned to Marcella. "I'm surprised you didn't ask for blood Marci." The vampire shook her head. "I fed quite a lot before I came, I'm good for the next three weeks." "And besides, I prefer the taste of human food anyway." "Blood isn't the best tasting stuff." Suddenly, Gina came to them dressed in a blue gown that sparkled with crystals. "Guys, King Griffith and Queen Marabella are here, with their twin children." Salma smiled. "Prince Llyr and Princess Siobhan are here, sweet!" Nichola grimaced. "Eww, Salma." "Why'd you invite those incestuous weirdos?" "Because Nick, they're good people and what they do in private is their business even though I may disagree with it." "And Mom invited their parents, I had nothing to do with it."

Marcella explained to Eric, John and Aurelia. "Llyr and Siobhan, the twins are extremely close if you know what I mean." "Our whole circle knows about it and personally I find it sick." "How do their parents allow this?" "Lavandia has no laws against it, and as long as they're not doing it in public here I have no problems." Salma shrugged. "Are we going out to meet them?" Salma asked. The two girls shook their heads and Salma sighed. "Mom, I'll go with you to see them." "Alright dear, let's show them in." "They should be waiting in the garden." As Salma and Gisela left, Marcella and Nichola looked at each other and shuddered. In the garden, Mira laughed. "Yes, I'm sure they'll be very grateful to you for that." Just then, she saw four people far off in the distance and saw what looked liked Gisela and Salma walk toward them. "Those must be more guests." "Oh no, don't tell me." "It's Llyr and Siobhan, the prince and princess of Lavandia with their parents." "I feel bad for them, everybody in our circle avoids them like the plague except Salma, Yulan and I." Mira said to Seth sadly.

"Finally, I'm here." Tsanis sat down in a seat and listened. "Good morning, class. I am your teacher, Mr. Vanthro. I will be teaching you to control your powers. Can I have any volunteers?" Tsanis raised his hand. "Yes, you Mr......." "Tsanis. My name is Tsanis" "Okay......Tsanis, what is your other half?" "My other half is sand Hybrid." "Okay. I think I've heard of that. What sort of powers would you have?" "I can control sand, fly with my wings....which are hidden, and conjure up anything from sand." "Can you control all of these powers, Tsanis?" "Well, conjuring up things from sand can be difficult sometimes." "Good" said Mr. Vanthro. "You need to think of what you are building and just let your powers do it with your...sand." It went on like that. When class was over, Tsanis walked out and went back to his room.

Seth frowned, "What did they do? Did they murder someone important or run away during a crucial moment of a battle? Beyond that I don't really see any reason for them to be shunned." He grinned at Mira, "I'm glad you aren't like the others." I really admire her for her independence. She's certainly a strong young woman. He thought for a moment, "Perhaps we should go on over and greet them. I'm certain they'll welcome a friendly face. And if you like them they must be good people at heart." He glanced at the family, I'm glad that Mira is so accepting of everyone. She'd make a wonderful queen of Hell.... If things do end up that way...

Mira sighed and turned to Seth. "Llyr and Siobhan, they're twins." "They care for each other very much, far deeper and much more than typical siblings do." "And everybody shuns them because of the nature of their relationship, I say you love who you love and you shouldn't be judged for it." "I was just going over to greet them for a while, we can both go if you'd like to come with me." Mira started to walk toward them, walking so Seth could follow her as Salma and Gisela spoke with the family.

John smiled brightly at Aurelia "Great, now my night should be great." "I'm glad you said yes, otherwise I would have had to bite Eric again." He joked.
John and Eric listened to the story about Prince Llyr and Princess Siobhan and felt a little uncomfortable. They didn't want to judge them and if it was legal in Lavandia than they figured it wasn't a problem. Eric didn't like judging people though. He didn't like leaving people out and hated bullies. He was always bullied as kid because he was different and shy. He thought Marcella was being a bit of a bully. "Excuse me, I'm going to go say hi to them with Salma." He turned and walked towards Salma and her mother to greet the siblings.

"Oh... So they are in love with each other?" Seth sighed, "Honestly I'm still not seeing anything wrong. Love can happen anywhere. And between anyone." He followed behind her, "I'd love to greet them with you, Mira. Any friend of yours is certainly a good person. And they seem like interesting enough people and its not my place to judge them based on who they love. In fact I'm quite happy for them because they found love." Seth's wings twitched excitedly as they got closer. He waited patiently for Mira to greet them first, as she was already known to them.

Marcella made a face when Eric left. "The nasty sluts, I mean that's freaking nasty." In the garden, Mira greeted the two, who were sitting with their parents. "Oh, hey guys!" "Mira." Siobhan went over and hugged her, and then Llyr hugged Mira. "It's so great to see you guys again, where are the others?" Salma rolled her eyes. "Inside." Siobhan frowned. "Typical, we're used to it though." Salma saw Eric walking out toward them. "Guys, this is my boyfriend Eric." Siobhan grinned. "You finally have a boyfriend, about time!" When Seth caught up Mira introduced him to the twins. "This is Seth guys, he's a really awesome guy and I like him very much." Llyr looked from his sister to Mira and started laughing good-naturedly. "Wow, Mira liking a guy?" "When did you stop despise men?" Siobhan joked."

Eric smiled to Llyr and Siobhan "Hi I'm Eric, it's really nice to meet you both." When he met the two of them he disliked the way the others treated them even more. They seemed like really nice people. Eric didn't think it was right to judge them because they were different. Eric saw Seth standing with Mira and wasn't happy to see him again but didn't want to start an argument in front of other people.
John didn't like the way Marcella was talking about Salma's other friends. She reminded him of the bullies from John's old school. John had gotten in a lot of fights beating up kids because his brother was different. He didn't want to get in a fight with Salma's friends so he turned to Aurelia there was something he wanted to talk to her about anyway "Hey I was thinking, maybe do you want to tell Asteria during the party? Or would that upset her too much?" He said in a low voice so Asteria couldn't hear. He wanted to tell her soon. He didn't want to age to keep being sneaky about it and knew Asteria would find out eventually even if she was only two years old.
