Stephen returned to the bridge after seeing Joker and saw a Padawan. Two Arc troopers then entered the room. Stephen went to the navigator and gave him the coordinates

Bridge, Republic Starship
ARC Commander Arty

"Really am getting tired of these excursions, Gold." Arty said, as he continued to navigate his way through the corridors.

"I know, sir. It seems only yesterday that we were out fighting. Now get a Jedi calling the shots." Gold said, though lowering his voice.

Arty watched as two troopers walked past, letting them walk further down the corridor before speaking. "I know what you mean. I heard of one Jedi Commander that was always needing more troops. He kept claiming they were faulty, yet get this, when I asked a mate of mine from one of the regiments assigned to this guy he told me that the Jedi had treated them as if they weren't human." Arty glanced over his shoulder down the corridor.

"It worries me, Gold, it really does." Arty said softly, as they stepped onto the bridge. It was bustling with activity, navigators and crew were flourishing here and there speaking rapidly into their headsets. The two ARC troopers moved quietly through the throng, making their way towards the windows at the front looking off into space.

"What do you think is out there, Gold?" Arty said suddenly, leaning against the console.

"What do you mean, sir?" Gold replied, gently his back turned to the window sweeping the bustling crowd of the bridge.

"I mean, what do you think is waiting for us out there?" he asked, knowing that Gold was more intent on gathering what information his ears could pick up. It was one of the reasons Arty brought him along to these kinds of meetings.

Shaking his head, he turned back to the window.

Grevious laughed as he seen the jedi's expression ove rthe security camera. He now knew he had him calmed. He waited for the jedi and would spring his trap. By the end of the battle they would be scrap orbiting Saleucami. He would have his victory and the republic would know his name. Even if the jedi escaped, the clones would die. He clipped the three lightsabers of the padawans on his side. His collection was now at 7.

Grevious sent a transmission to the nearest fleet.
"Attention Republic Cowards! Your padawans will die in 1 hour. It is best that you tell the jedi counsil they know you didnt try to save them. Either way, if you come or not they are dead."
Grevious coughed before ending the transmission. He walked around the bridge, observing the pilot droids. 1 came up yo him-
"Sir, we i believe that the republic might be massing a counter offensive. Should we take battle positions?"
"No you insullent fool! I told you all the trap!"
He wacked the droids head off. 1 quickly sat down and took his place.

TRANSMISSION FROM GENERAL ZEY

"Alpha-20 would you join the jedi in their battle?" General Zey asked 'Bayonet', as he was called. He turned off his com link, and walked around aimlessly.

As Lieutenant Bayonet walked around, his comlink flashed indicating he was receiving a transmission... from his CO, General Zey. Bayonet took the call in his helmet, in case anything was said that the rank and file shouldn't.

"Yes Sir!" Lieutenant Bayonet replied to General Zey, right before he ran to get to the ship, arriving moments before it took off. He thought momentarily of the padawaan, Mika, then of the mission ahead. He was confident he would have no problems with the droids that lay ahead in the battle.

Bayonet guessed the Generals would be on the bridge of the eagle, so he went straight up to it. No ordinary troopers would stop him. His reputation ensured that. And if any did? Well, Bayonet had the access to it, so it didn't matter. And he'd be impressed if they did. The doors opened, as Bayonet walked straight into the bridge.

Bayonet stopped and looked at the speaker. He was a jedi, and a fairly strong looking one at that. Bayonet guessed he was one of the master jedi he was told to speak to, but was unsure of which one. Saluting briskly, Bayonet stated, "General, I am looking for the commanding officer of this mission. I am Alpha-20, and I have been assigned to this mission by General Zey of Arca Barracks." He left his helmet on, as it was more official to do so that way. His blue trimmed armour, and his pauldron a kama clearly showed him as an Arc trooper lieutenant.

Once safely in space, the fleet went into Hyperspace towards Grevious.

"Yes, General!" Bayonet replied. He stood on the bridge, waiting for next orders. By the sounds of things, this fight wasn't going to be pretty.

Bayonet hoped he did not encounter Grievous himself. As with many other clone troopers, he would be unable to match the cyborg leader on his own. He had a suggestion to make to the General. "Permission to speak freely sir?" Bayonet asked, more for politeness then anything else. Most Jedi generals had gotten used to Alpha Arcs speaking their minds, whenever they pleased.

Bayonet also noticed the Jedi padawaan, Mika, standing on the brigde. He wondered briefly if she noticed him, or if she, like many other people, forgot him in a faceless army.

Bridge, Republic Starship
ARC Commander Arty

Sergeant Gold stood to attention when the blonde-haired gentlemen approached them.

"Sir." Gold snapped, giving a quick salute while Arty stood up from gazing out the Bridge windows.

Arty's first guess from the attire was that it was a civvie, but then Gold said quietly over the comms, "Jedi, sir."

Arty gave an informal salute and replied to the Jedi, "Just waiting for someone to tell me where we're going exactly, "he hesitated just long enough and then said, "Sir."

Sergeant Gold lowered his stance and stood at ease, his hands behind his back. Arty took the moment to introduce his aide to the Jedi.

"This is Sergeant Gold, my number three." Arty said, though knowing it was unofficial till he put Gold in for a promotion to Lieutenant.

Gold gave a curt nod of the head in greeting, "At your service, sir."

"I'm ARC Commander Arty of Phoenix Company, Special Operations Brigade." Arty gave a polite nod and then asked, "And if I may ask, you are...?"

After exchanging pleasantries, the Jedi moved on to a newly arrived trooper to the bridge.

"Hmm, more of a secretary than a Jedi. Wouldn't be surprised if he started asking how I take my coffee." Arty sighed, seeing firsthand the throw aside respect that seemed all too common among the Jedi towards the clone troopers.

Gold however was looking at the new arrival. "ARC trooper, sir, a lieutenant by the look of it."

Arty passed a glance over the trooper. "Wonder what company?" he said aloud, watching as a squadron of Republic starfighters flew by the windows on their regular patrol.

"Says he reports to Zey, sir." Gold reported, his ear's picking up the conversion from across the bridge. Sometimes, Arty wondered whether his helm was equipped with sonar sensors.

"We all report to Zey in the end..." Sighing, Arty turned to watch as the navigator began punching in a new direction for the ship from a chip he'd been given, who was then accompanied by the Jedi they'd spoken to earlier.

Looking over his shoulder, Arty saw the ARC Lieutenant standing alone on the bridge. Shaking his head, Arty could only concur that the Jedi seemed to hold no respect for their being. Arty made a discreet movement toward Gold, who nodded and went to stand by the Jedi at the navigator's console.

Arty turned his attention the ARC Lieutenant again, when he spoke up.

As it seemed the General was busy talking to another trooper at the moment, a commander of some sort, Bayonet saluted to Mika, and waited for someone to order him to something. He hoped the General listened to his suggestion, even considered it, as it would keep Grievous occupied and allow the padawaans to be rescued.

"Where are the scum! Where are they!"
He coughed loudly

"Yessir, Sergeant Gold, sir." Gold nodded, studying the Jedi though forgetting his name. "We're bred for fighting, sir. Its nothing we can't handle, General."

"As for the padawans, sir, I'm much more interested in how Grievous was able to acquire them than their rescue to be truthful." Gold said, speaking freely. Commander Arty encouraged his men to speak up and not ever ask for permission to speak. 'You got something to say, then say it.' were the words he used.

"Its my understanding a padawan stays with their master always, or at least almost always. So, what I want to know sir, is how Grievous could acquire three padawans. Where are their masters?"

ARC Commander Arty
Arty could only smile at his Sergeant from the windows of the bridge. He's going to get himself gutted by a lightsaber if he doesn't watch his damn mouth. he thought, shaking his head ruefully.

A young padawan then appeared on the deck and moved forward towards the two. Arty couldn't remember seeing this particular padawan around before, perhaps she was new?

Casting a glance back, Arty noted that the ARC Lieutenant seemed to be standing around unsure of himself. Arty gave a brief wave at him, wondering why the lieutenant seemed so nervous.

"Just speak your mind Bayonet" said Stephen "most of you guys do it without permission anyway. What is it you need to tell me?"

"Yes, sir. I suggest that you send a task force to rescue the padawaans while you fight Grievous. I mean, he's kind of set on attacking jedi, but couldn't care less about clones. That, and you actually have the skill set and equipment necessary to fight him. Us clones don't, but we could fight droids." Bayonet replied.

A tactical droid came up to grevious.
"Sir, our computer says that a republic fleet is closing in on us. We detect 5 Venator class, 5 escort class. Soon, they will be here."
"Good, captain. Contact the fleet and have them ready to make the short jump from their position."
"Yes sir."
Grevious was pleased. The jedi didnt fail to come to standards.
