Basically, because Italy was considered by many powers to be a pariah state without allies, the four nations of Germany, France, Greece, and Illyria decided to partition it, and Germany signed separate agreements with France and Greece against Italy. After much wrangling, this map was approved. Unfortunately, these four nations didn't count on Spain essentially absorbing Italy. France invaded Italy, Germany is tied up fighting Switzerland, Greece is neutral for now, and Kleo's Illyria was inactive. So now we have the current situation.

Yeah, it is even more difficult to find pictures of Romania, despite the fact that during WW2 they had a 1 million man army.

Yeah, I knew that. I know all about women in WW2, I did a report on it in high school! It was an intriguing subject because I have such high respect for women in any armed forces. It looks like that in this time period, in this alternate world, we have some really "weird" things going on.

Long live the female soldiers! If I wasn't such a cynic, I would have half a mind to be one.

The next war that Rumunija fights, you can be sure that these tough girls will be deployed on the battlefield to the fullest capacity.

Stalin was an isolationist and wanted to keep Russia away from world politics as much as possible, and so he would have most likely left Germany alone. Plus Hitler thought he could topple anyone after how easy Jugoslavija got taken over. He thought, "Pssh... The Yugoslavs had a one million man army and they lost in a couple days. Russia has a few more million men, they ought to lose in a couple of weeks."

It is too bad that the Yugoslav government at the time of Hitler's invasion was infighting, the soldiers of the Yugoslav army were wanting to fight each other, and the generals did whatever they felt like. xD
