I'm sorry, who couldn't win a single battle in Africa until the Germans came along? Seriously, you guys lost to the BRITISH, who were getting their ass kicked by both the Germans and Japanese. The British were bad, the Italians were worse. You picked a fight you couldn't win, then went crying to Germany for help. Hell, even Hitler eventually realized Mussolini, and Italy as a whole, was a waste of perfectly good resources.

You guys did worse than the British, and that's saying something.

You realize Germany had assembled the largest army in the world that was hardened and best equipped against the Russians who purged their officers but were in the middle of the reorganizing their military.

Russia was going to attack Germany but in 1945-47 time frame but Germans hit first because they had to

Second of all about 2/3rds of Russia's loses in spite of popular believe of the penal legions were civilians who were systemically slaughtered for being sub human.

Russia's military loses were 20-30% higher then Germany. Initially it was 50% off but once the Germans lost their army and started pulling their men from civilians who weren't soldiers then the overwhelming superiority of German training was obsolete and they had comparable loses.

Just the Germans managed to kill 15-20 million civilians in cold blood which obsecures thee military losses including allies was 4.2 million service men plus another 700k - 1.1 million dead in pow compared to ussrs

Russians were 12.18 million of which 4.4-5.2 million died in internment camps

However the Russians included wounded in their KIA since they weren't combat effective in contrast to the axis who listed solely as MIA

Well, I wouldn't say sucks balls... but yeah, Italy was a big fat pile of fail during WWII.

The best army was like England, they had the lowest mortality rate in their professional troops.

Conscripts however thats a different ball game but Italy sucked like they had a 45% death rate in their Professional troops, England was like 8% lol, Russia was 34%, Germany is 56%, etc. China's professional force had a staggering 91% death rate ( mostly because of battle of shanghai )

I'm Scottish and don't really affiliate myself with the rest of the UK and I will admit that the British Army was terrible, but the navy and the airforce were among the best.
