I actually reserved that part before you. I gave away Northern Sardinia, but not that part - This actually even belonged to France in RL at this time period.

That part was part of British Nigeria, and Portuguese Africa.

I still think me Prussia controlling Germany a few decades early is far more acceptable and realistic than Italy unified and capturing a chunk of Africa a few decades (in the case of Africa, alot of decades) early
