I am thinking or planning to make a Renaissance AH RP but with much more detailed, event-driven, stand-alone RP that even the OP can sit back and watch the game go on. Any thoughts?

Maybe copy an OP detail with proper permission and add more and specific details about it, then research research research about events and discoveries, all happening accurately, like a Total War grand campaign game, only that it's AH with limited modding.

It could work, though you will have less of a turn out if it requires everyone to do extensive research. I'm up for it.

I remember reading something about an artillery shell that injured Hitler but killed several of his mates back in WWI. Maybe if the shrapnel exploded a little differently?

The players would all be on their respective teams and would be attempting to win the war for their side, or perhaps turn on their allies and try to unify Greece under their flag.
