I'm trying to understand how it's possible for America to go communist besides the usual Soviet Union outcompetes America and takes over the world scenario

I think I've heard of ideas where the socialists win in the early 1900's and it all goes down hill. Fascist america is easier.

Well yeah considering that it almost happened in the 30's where Fascist influenced businessmen, politicians, and officers were planning to make a coup but was foiled by a military general.

I'm thinking an RP in the 1840's RP where Texas remains an independent nation and compete against nations over dominance over North America or a 1960's R{ where South Korea unified all of the Korean peninsula and is facing off against China over the border

I enjoy that era as well, has good trains, factories are well established, etc.

Or the United Provinces of Amerika because I quite enjoyed that entire idea.

Yep, I like that time era as well. I would like to RP Spain or maybe something in South America. It would be cool to RP reforms and stuff.
