Are we allowed to battle NPC factions in this RP? I am planning to launch a war against the international slave trade, which was certainly among the worst evils of this period in history. My ultimate goal is to attack European slave trade vessels and slave stations along the coast of West Africa, but I will probably begin by raiding the slave traders of the nearby Crimean Tatars, who have captured and sold some Tatrans into slavery in the Ottoman Empire. Who will join me?

Then we will build ships to battle the Barbary Pirates in the Mediterranean and the West European slave traders along the coast of West Africa.

Are hellburner type fireships, bomb ketches, and rocket vessels acceptable during this time period? I might as well take advantage of this RP's relative unrealism by utilizing utterly ridiculous and impractical weapons whenever I can.

By the way, I feel that I should apologize about the steamships. In hindsight, they seem a bit godmoddy. I like to have more than a bit of weirdness/ silliness when it comes to weaponry in my fictional military, but I think it got out of hand with the steamships idea.

They are probably mostly mounted archers and there also some infantrymen with outmoded matchlocks (the enemies that we are fighting are Crimean Tatar slave traders).
