Is it ok if I read it in the Pigeon?

Once its over, yeah, but very few people know about it now.
You could have it say theres a rumor that something is going to happen but if it were to say exact specifics, then that would require clairvoyance above that of master wizards.

After it happens.

The Pigeon is basically a newspaper that gets info, then crams it all onto paper and flies it to its readers quickly, whereas others would find more details, write it into a story, then do borders, fonts, stuff like that, then print.

So a little while after, but long before other papers.

Name: Scearen
Culture: They live underground in massive cities that mirror the cities above. Their population is huge and is even now growing, making even the biggest of the cities cramped and crowded. Each city is ruled by a clan, the clans have a hierarchy that most Scearen move up by killing those directly above them. They are very cowardly, running often at the first sign of trouble.

Special abilities:
Mask smell: Scearan have no scent, and even the least trained in stealth are difficult to detect when they don't want to be seen.
Relations with other races:
Hated by most races. The Humans see them as vermin, and the Scearen have mutual feelings. The elves hate them with a passion, having gone to war with them. Dwarves feel somewhat sorry for them, being underground creatures themselves, however Scearan detest this pity. They get along sometimes with Goblins, both being fairly short, underestimated races. Gnomes however see them as threats, seeing their ingenuity and subtlety as problematic for their domain. They have no response to Forged, seeing them as little but rouge tools. They do bond with Arechena, seeing that they both have little to trust as races. They fear Kitsune, as Scearen is said to be a Kitsune delicacy, wether or not this is true is unknown as Kitsune society is very closed off. They fear Lycanthropes, for their ability to shapeshift into canines and felines. They arent sure about Felane. They see Djinn as their mortal enemies, for unknown reasons.

Magic Focus: Assassin, can become almost invisible, teleport short distances. Master at stealth.

Bio:
Once son of a clan master. He had everything, wealth, power, privilege. Until one day, his father was betrayed, and him and his family were sent to the bottom of the heap. Him and his brother had to hone their skills at stealing and stealth to survive, until they were recruited by an assassins guild called the Red Mist, then they had to prefect them. Last of this guild, Sneek has earned the title Deathstalker, but since he discovered his magical abilities, he has learnt even more.
Personality: Stealthy, Quiet, Subtle
Faults: Not that friendly. Will not allow other to betray him and will hunt down those who stab him in the back until the end of his days.
Anything else of note: Can hold three swords (one with his tail) and has mastered the fighting style required.

Appearance:

Class (Or you could be a Paladin): Sorceress
Magic Focus: Fire is her primary however, she also does lightning and often combines them into one element (to devastating effect) and branches of from those two somewhat.
Faction you will be in once you graduate: Rusa
Bio: in short her mother wanted a child, however due to medical problems, so she went to the closest solution, making a bargain with a local dragon. Tiera is the fusion of human and draconic spirit with a mostly human shell. Due to this her magical capabilities are much greater than most humans.
Personality: impulsive and very free willed, also due to the massive amounts of power she has losing her control over it can be catastrophic, and it is hard for her to do small things.
Faults: will jump into action with little hesitation, also she can't do small things with her magic.
Anything else of note:

Accepted, though keep in mind dragons are extremely rare and almost extinct.

Yes, you are, yet you are not allowed to pair with your other character for the mission part of the exam, and you can form an unstoppable team of 50 characters. Basically, you can, but don't abuse it.

As for Josh, he can go into the exams, because I believe he was educated by his Djinn friends/family prior to joining.
