Magic Type APP
Name: Sheinism
Origins: (Where it came from) The Druid, who helped the Lycantrophes in their first years of existence, used a special way of druidism. With that power, he was able to bring them back to full conscience and develop a way for them to control their power. Later it was related to the Influence of Sheina, the Moon Goddess, which gives this branch its name.
Class: (No making new classes yet, I might allow previous characters to create their own class based on their specialities, but we’ll see how it goes.) Sheinism is supposed to be a Druid Branch
Abilities: (Basic description of what it allows you to do) Mainly the specialty of Sheinism is deep belief in the goddess of course. That is very important. Apart, the power comes from the Moon and light in general. Sheinism mages believe that Sheina sends her light over the world at night. They notice a steady flow of this light around them and shape them to their means, for example into a flashing light, a continous one, or a dangerous form of ultra-hot-light. Also, they are able to speed up the body's healing process by sending this flow in their patient and the very experienced ones to cure whole wounds immediately or regrow a body part. This flow has a very calming effect on the persons influenced by it. All invokements are accompanied by a command word, at more difficult spells a whole prayer.
Drawback: (The Problems with using this magic) Since their strong belief tells them that Sheina is at her strongest at night, they are also. At day, they are only half as powerful, but double powerful if the moon shows itself at night. However, if the moon is visible in day, which is rarely, it negates the negative effect. Same goes for Solar Eclipses.

(I'd like to add some parts of abilities for more experienced mages like the lone druid was, but that won't count for my char for quite some time and I'd like to wait if this RP survives long enough before I overwork my fantasies capacity =P Just saying that I might add something. Will notify you when I do.)

Character App
Name: Irusera Lemos, though she mostly is called Iru.
Age: 19
Race: Lycantrophe
Appearance: ( A picture is OK)
Image
Take away the hood and think of a nice face with long brown hair and green eyes plus the characteristics of Lycantrophes
Class (Or you could be a Paladin): Druid
Magic Focus: (Also include how/if your magic is different from other practicioners) Sheinism. Iru's special ability is that she is able to cast spells even in her animal Form and often without giving her targets the chance to notice it(without saying a word or gesturing)
Faction you will be in once you graduate: Since Lycanthrophes tend to be very isolationist in their distrust of the other races(elves excepted) Neutral, although she sympathisizes with the Loriens and if she had to would decide in their favor.
Bio: Irusera, or Iru, as most people call her, was always a little sensitive. It became harder, as her grandfather, whom she loved the most of her family, was slain in front of her eyes. As suddenly, she began to control the lights at night, when she was sad again one night, she was sent to the Sheinism-temple in her homelands. Their she learned to control her powers to a certain degree and then was sent to the college to be further taught in the way of sheinism.
Personality: Always nice to other members of her folk, somewhat neutral to most other races. To be friends with her is a great gift, 'cause if she learned to trust you, she is the best friend you'll ever have, and loyal to the end. Besides of that, she is quite self-concious and proud of her origin and heritage. Her animal form is a white wolf.
Faults: Hates Dwarves. The reason is that her grandfather, Remil Lemos, was slayn by one during the time of being hunted while she watched, and she liked him very much. Plus, she someimes tends to be a little sentimental and sensitive.
Anything else of note: I'd like to have another Lycantrophe teach her in the college, 'cause Sheinism is usually only taught to Lycantrophe mages. if possible of course. And of course you can play him =P
Number: 8456 (Keep this in your App, it allows me to find them easier)

The Magic Type is not necessary for my character, I could do with a normal druid aswell.
besides, I'm pretty sure I forgot something. I will tell you if I change something =)
And, concerning the phrase two lines above, although it wouldn't be very bad if I didn't get my Magic Accepted, It is a noticeable part of my peoples culture. So, what I'm saying is that I'm going to hug you if you accept it =P

Change 1: 23.9. , Completed an incomplete sentence in my Bio (silly me)

Well, just make up something to keep your characters occupied for a while like I'm doing. I don't want the RP to die due to a lack of activity.

An Rp won't die because of a day not posting. And as long as the OOC is active, the IC has not yet died even if it has been barren for a day.

Thats important to learn about RP's, not everyone can post every day and defenatly not always at the same time. So wile you do try to interact you also try to make every post worth posting and reading so that a missed day is not a terrible thing.

Well as we're all students at the end of the RP week we will be having our graduating trials to see if we are ready to be full Magis. It will include a compulsory mission which we do in pairs and a choice of either a combat trial or an invention trial. In combat you fight a monster and in invention you invent something cool.

Meh, might as well give this one a go...
Race App:
Name: Felane
Culture: Rural and seen as slightly backward the Felane rarely venture into the cities and urban centres of the world, instead they hang back in their small communities on the plains and in the forests moving fro one site to another, following the same route year after year. The majority of Felane are not mages, but those who are abide by the rules and train at the mages college. Seen as a separate subspecies of Felane the Mages will rarely return to their communities, although if they do they are treated with both reverence, often leading the community in times of strife, and suspicion, their gifts making them abnormal.
Appearance:
The Felane look mainly like a human with only a few subtle differences. One of the more noticeable ones is the cat-like mouth they have. They all have olive-tanned colored skin that contrasts with their ice blue, almost feline-like eyes. Both males and females have long, dark brown hair, at least going down to their shoulders although for females it is normally longer as the Felane age their hair starts to speckled with light brown. Felane generally live for slightly longer time than humans, although they do not show much sign of aging beyond the speckling of their hair, keeping a similar sort of appearance from when they are eighteen to when they are on their deathbeds traditionally at around the age of 120. Being incredibly athletic as a race the Felane rarely grow fat, keeping a muscular and lean build is the norm for their race.

Special abilities: Shadow Travel: Felane are notable for this special ability. Being a creature of the night primarily means that the Felane have an affinity with the Darkness and thus can use it to their advantage. So long as they stand in a shadow and another shadow is within their sight they can move from one to the other effortlessly, this mode of transport is about as quick a walking although carries the obvious advantage of not being seen whilst they move.
Relations with other races: Friends of the Kitsune the Felane do not have the same natural hatred towards the Arachene as the Kitsune but if called will help them in their battles. The Felane are also friendly with the Elves. Felane, however, hate the Forged believing that constructs should not be sentient, and the relationship between the two is tense, sometimes being little more than a rivalry to try and beat the other but more often than not, and especially of late the two are almost openly aggressive towards each other, not quite at war but close to it.
Anything else of note: most Felane-Mages are Druids or Alchemists, few become Wizards or Spellswords and it is rare for them to be any other type of Mage
Character App:
Name: Hanehah ap Bors
Age: 29
Race: Felane
Appearance: Her skin is quite light compared to most Felane, although her hair is, if anything, just as dark if not darker than most it reaches down to just below her shoulders, whilst she normally wears it loose when by herself, when around others she'll keep it in a single ponytail. Having passed maturity there are several speckled bits of light brown in her hair. Her eyes are the same ice blue as the rest of her species.
Class: Druid
Magic Focus: Beast (works better with Felines and worse with Canines)
Faction you will be in once you graduate: Rusa
Bio: Born into one of the larger Felane communities on the plains Hanehah lived quite peacefully in the small Felane community, with her family until it was time to head off to The Mage College. Before then it had been easy to pretend that such a thing didn't exist and that Hanehah didn't wasn't a Mage, however with the illusion gone Hanehah had to create a barrier, causing her create the icy persona she now so confidently wears almost all the time to protect herself and to hide the fact that whilst she tries to learn all she can she is still behind others in how the normal world works.(Don't like this but the best I can do at the moment)
Personality: Cold towards those who aren't Felane, which is to say most people. Although quite smart in terms of magic, she likes to keep that to herself, rather than show it off. She likes to keep away from large groups and hang around by herself, generally preferring her own company.
Faults: Socially inept, scared of the outside world as she knows little of it.
Anything else of note:
Number: 8456 (Keep this in your App, it allows me to find them easier)

Through assassination.
The only way a faction leader will give up his/her power is if they die, which some of them will.
Or you could Duel them.
Or they could get kicked out of the college.
Basically you have to be high up in the hierarchy and the leader needs to be dead. Unless you duel them in which case it doesn't really matter, but remember, faction leaders are experienced and dangerous mages.
