Imperium of Tanith wrote:Magic App

Name: Runeforging

Origins: Originally in the Dwarven Kingdoms of Old, Runeforging was supposedly given to the Dwarves by the Gods to fight back against far more powerful forces of the Humans. Eventually it became a Niche in the Dwarven Mages alongside the Blacksmiths, working side by side to supply the Dwarves with weapons and armor. Once peace was restored in part by the College of Mages, the Dwarves shared the practice with the other Races, and whilst the other races in the World have the knowledge of the Runesmiths, it only remains truly popular with the Dwarves and the Forged.

Class: Alchemist

Abilities: Engrave Runes that bestow special powers or improve upon magic already bestowed on the item.
The Best Runesmiths can also engrave Runes into the skin of people, giving them permanent abilities such as Resistance to a certain Element.
Runes come in levels, from 1 to 9. Any Rune put onto the skin is automatically a level 9, no matter the property it gives.

Drawback: Runes are dangerous to work with, can blow up in your face and destroy the weapon if done improperly. Takes years to master even the simplest runes, and given the tedious work, take a very long time to complete. A level 1 rune on a shortsword can take upwards of a week, and the time goes up exponentially as the power of the Runes and the number of them grow. It's not uncommon for Runesmiths to take years on a single project, but once it's completed it makes the wielder a God among Men.

Name: Vafur Ronin
Age: 98
Race: Dwarf
Appearance: Art Link
Class (Or you could be a Paladin): Alchemist
Magic Focus: Runesmith
Faction you will be in once you graduate: Venhines
Bio: The eldest son of a lesser house of the Dwarves, Vafur had a choice: Become a Runesmith, or be a Military leader. he chose the Former of the two, and is now coming to the College for Mages to learn all he can before setting off to make his fortune as a Runesmith for an Army or a larger House.
Personality: Level headed most of the time, incredibly patient with his work and his fellow students. Serious Try-hard, always wants to get everything 100% right on the first attempt.
Faults: Drinking problem (obviously had to include this, he is a Dwarf after all :lol2: ), can get feisty when drinking.
Anything else of note: His weapon of choice is a Warhammer with a level 3 Fire Rune on it.
Number: 8456 (Keep this in your App, it allows me to find them easier)

Accepted.

For the twin of the god of fear, because in Greek mythology Phobos (god of fear) is the brother of Deimos who is the Greek god of terror. Deimos should be the alias of the twin.

Kaidakkos, god of fear, and Daikkades, god of terror.

Lol. My character: Kevin Yang will have some sort of mutual relationship with the god of fear. (Maybe in bloodline? Soul tether? I dunno.)

Could you explain a little bit about the spider people? Can they produce web? Can they naturally produce venom? Can they climb walls and whatnot? Do any spider like traits transfer into human form?
I'm on AEST time zone so I probably won't reply to posts or TMs until what most of you consider very late at night.

They cant produce a web. They can produce venom and climb up walls in spider form. In human form they have fangs which they can cuse to inject others with poison.

Ok, shame about the webs. I was looking forward to that. :(
Do they need to totally transform or can they just partially, like for instance, grow more eyes or get spider legs or hands?

They can, but it has to match their spider form. So drider like Arechena cant manifest eight eyes.

Ok, so (if you read Skullduggery Pleasent) kind of like the Children of the Spider.

I made the post here above because this is how I add apps to the RP I'm running, I personally find it better than using quotes so made it for this RP and let you decide whether to use it or not.

Il probably covert the present accepted APP's section to this one.
