In other words, she's after soul energy, and the energy of a good soul is calming. She was simply going to inform him that she can sense the location of people, being a metahuman Empath, request a description, and tell Takashi that she would have to link with his soul, warning him that it might be tiring. She'd play off the whole, I've been called a creep all my life, I simply want to show the people I'm not some abomination. Win his trust, and take her fill, before telling him of Hiro's location, which she would have via telepathy and soul searching have located by that time.

This would make him weak, perhaps lower is expected lifespan, and sadden him. However, the soul is like a battery, his spirits would rise eventually. For she has no desire to kill him.

When she was finished, Yui left the remains of the orphanage and set out to find something about her parents, or even herself.
