Charmera, you could probably have Justicar find Ashai and ask for help against Tidebringer.

Partially because I'm too lazy to find a different way to get back in. :p

I don't think being have Tiste Longa would make him immortal, he might live longer (for example, he might live to be 300 years old) but he would still age, as though his spirit may be powerful, his mortal form will ultimately decay.
