The Order rose to political power in the 1800s, they technically first existed long before that.

According the Order the Order has always existed, and always will. It's true past is unknown as documents of a historical nature from the before times are either vaulted away or destroyed. It can be gathered by the state of the world that the Order began it's rise to power at least 200 years before the events of Book One: Dark Times.

I doubt they would wage war. When they are a occult organization. They simply wouldn't have the strength.

Well the thing is Anisha's "immortality" is completely different from Damien's in terms that he will come back to life in a matter of seconds/ minutes, therefore making never truly die. But Anisha has died for some extended periods of time in her life, she even had a gravestone somewhere in Japan, plus the longest she's been dead for about two years.
