Master Cosmos was just within the temple when the Master Dy'lan sent the message. He immediately walked towards the Council room and took his position amongst the present Jedi.

Master Cosmos took a minute to think. "I vote to defend Naboo." He said afterwards.

Dy'lan had though about it long enough. He immediatly said, "I vote to defend Naboo. It is to vital to loose."

If the council voted in favor, then Dy'lan would not only send members of the council, but also members of the Senate army here. In all, the fleet of the jedi had 4 Aquitan cruisers used mostly for peace keeping, but fully fitted for battle.

"Master Dy'lan, we need to take into consideration of the fact that this was a vision," Krass emphasized. "If we make a decision to try to prevent what occurred in the vision, we could easily cause it to happen."
"Well, I say we should go," Maris said. "If the Empire is going to lay waste to a peaceful planet for no reason, then they need to be stopped. We can't just sit back and watch."
"While I agree that we have to do something," Celeste said, "I do have to go with Master Udelles. This is a vision that may occur if we interfere. The future is not written in stone: it can easily change."
"So that is two votes for, and two against," Krass said. "It looks like Master Cosmos will be the tie breaker."

Star Destroyer Devastator, in hyperspace en route to Naboo
Imperial spies had informed the Emperor that the Queen of Naboo had sheltered some Jedi in her kingdom and allied with them. She was also beginning to show some rebellious behavior towards the Empire, minute but there nevertheless. This is why Palpatine had ordered Vader to take his 501st Legion to overthrow the Queen of Naboo and put down the Jedi and any rebels under their command. Vader was eager to accept the assignment, since his search for the other Jedi had gone cold. As soon as he received the assignment, Vader ordered for several Imperial and Venator Star Destroyers to proceed to Naboo and blockade the planet and support the landing of the 501st Legion.
As Vader starred out at the bright streaks of hyperspace, an Imperial officer made an announcement on the intercom of the ship.
"Attention all personnel! The Devastator will be exiting hyperspace in fifteen minutes. All personnel report to combat stations! Pilots are to report to their fighters for pre-flight checks and are to be ready for immediate deployment upon exit! All ground forces, report to the transports in the main hangar bay..."
Vader drowned out the rest of the message. It didn't pertain to him. He was preparing himself for combat against the Jedi, allowing the Force to calm any nervousness he had. He had very little, so he began to focus on other skills he would need in the coming battle. It won't be long now, Vader thought as the clock on the navigation console hit the 10 minute mark and descended rapidly.

"I believe we should defend Naboo." Master Cosmos said. "However we may walk into a trap upon arrival on the surface. If we go in guns a blazing we may be met with the Imperial fleet in full force. On the other hand we can't leave the Queen and the people of Naboo in the vicious hands of the Empeor. "

"I agree," Krass stated. "We should only send a fraction of our forces, keep our numbers unknown to the Empire. I still think that we may cause the Imperial attack on Naboo for this."
"If we are going to save the Queen, we must hurry," Maris thought. "It's at least a five day jump through hyperspace to get there."
Krass was so focused on the actual mission itself that he had completely forgotten the distance between Tython and Naboo. Blast, he thought.
"Very well, then," Krass concluded. "The majority rules. We need to move to Naboo quickly. Let's go."
With that, the Jedi proceeded to their shuttle on the landing pad and ascended to the Pride of the Republic in orbit. It took about a half an hour to get the fleet ready for hyperspace, but when it was ready, Krass gave the order to jump into hyperspace. The fleet winked out of realspace and into hyperspace, bound for Naboo.

Master Cosmos left Admiral Vlad with a majority of the fleet in the Tython system. The fleet he was taking was six Lucrehulks all fully loaded with droids and troops. He was going into his first real space battle in a few weeks and wanted to make sure he had what he needed. While in Hyperspace the gunships and boarding pods began to be loaded up for a quick reaction to the Imperials if they were already at Naboo. He stood on the bridge waiting for the eventual exit from hyperspace.

Master Dy'lan walked onto the Aquitan cruiser named the Endeavor. It served as his flagship and was the former flagship of Master Deno in the very beginning of the war. In all, 160 men went onto the ship. The 4 other Aquitan's would remain here. His aaquitan lifted into space and jumped to Naboo, leaving his personnal padawan in command. Dy'lan knew that Naboo must not fall. It would be wise to target all fire on the enemy flagship and leave the forces uncontrolled in orbit without ordeers.

The fleet was nearing the Naboo system. Master Cosmos's portion of the fleet was ready for the eventual space and surface combat over and on Naboo. The droids were loaded on the boarding pods and the troops were onboard the numerous gunships in the hangers. The bombers and fighters were online and fueled up. The members of the fleet that were born and raised on Naboo asked to be on the frontlines for ground combat. Master Cosmos seeing the determination and fire in their eyes agreed to their request.

Vader pushed his way through the Naboo Royal Guard to the Queen's court. This was his second time in the palace during his visit and it would be his last. Darth Sidious was becoming impatient and demanded results. Since Padme had been the Queen of Naboo at one point, Vader decided to give the current queen one last chance to divulge the Jedi's location and to voluntarily step down from power, otherwise Naboo will experience the full wrath of the Empire.
The Queen was siting on her throne when Vader arrived, starring at her "guest" with a cool expression that masked anger. Vader did very much the same, though his anger was a little less controlled than the queen's.
"Your Highness," Vader gave a slight bow. "I wish to speak with you about the matter of the Jedi you hide from me and your resignation."
OOC: Pantorrum, do you want to be the Queen? I only ask, since you have relations with Naboo and I remember that you did play as her in one of your posts. Otherwise I can do it.

On the Endeavor, Master Dy'lan meditated. He reached out with the force and sensed Master Deno on the planet.

Vader knew the queen had just lied to him, but he couldn't prove her wrong. To do so would force Vader to reveal the fact that there were spies amongst the queen's staff and he couldn't do that. But he couldn't just let the queen think she has defeated him.
"I know there are Jedi here aside from this specter here," Vader pointed to Deno. "Tell me their location and the Empire will leave your planet alone. I have been patient long enough, your Highness. Give me the Jedi!"

Meanwhile...
Krass's fleet arrived outside of the Naboo system. Krass decided to leave the vast majority of the fleet at the system's edge, but he ordered for a Bulwark battlecruiser, a Providence carrier, two Recusant destroyer, and two Munificent frigates to participate in the battle. If anything goes wrong, the rest of the fleet will bail the small attack force out of trouble. As the ships prepared for the short jump into the system, Krass entered his meditative state and readied himself for the coming battle. It was going to be a little challenging to control the ships from the system's edge, but he had to try. The small fleet leapt into hyperspace and would arrive at Naboo within an hour.

It was only a matter of time before the fleet exited hyperspace near the planet of Naboo. Master Cosmos was in the hanger bay giving pep-talk and encouragement to the troops and pilots for the battle they were about to fight. He watched as a few technicians and engineers worked on a few fighters while others were performing last minute droid maintenance. He then walked over to his own fighter to examine it. A Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor. He found this ship while searching the surface of Raxus Prime for salvageable vessels. Why it was their amongst the surrounding debris was a mystery to him because the fighter was relatively on scathed minus a few scratches in the paint. After maintenance, repainting, and replacing of a few parts he took it as his fighter.

The Imperial fleet over Naboo was performing scans of the system when Krass's forces dropped out of hyperspace along with Master Cosmos's fleet. The number of starships equaled those of the Empire's (there were only five Venators and three Star Destroyers, with a few Acclamators for ground forces) and the Imperials began to scramble to attack the oncoming forces. Krass's vessels deployed what starfighters they had and hit the blockade with ion blasts to soften the shields up for a salvo of turbolaser fire from the Bulwark batttlecruiser. Information of the attack soon reached Vader.
"Sir, the fleet reports that two enemy battle groups have arrived from hyperspace and are engaging our forces," a stormtrooper told Vader. Vader returned his attention to the queen, enraged by this development, yet grateful since these new arrivals might be the Jedi Vader had been looking for previously.
"It would appear that the Jedi have come to your aid, your Highness," Vader stated. "As valiant as that is, it is very foolish. I thank you for drawing them out for the Empire. As a reward, your death will be swift and painless." Vader turned for the door.
"Kill her," he ordered the four stormtroopers that followed Vader into the palace. The clones lowered their weapons and Vader could hear the whine of blaster fire behind him as he proceeded for his starfighter.
An Imperial officer managed to meet Vader along the way to the fighter.
"My lord," the officer stuttered- he had just recently graduated from the Imperial Academy on Carida-, "What are your orders for the soldiers?"
Vader paused only for a moment before saying, "We must inform the people of Naboo that the Empire will not tolerate rebels or rebellious thoughts. To that end, inform the troopers to make this city an example of the punishment the Empire gives to rebels."
"How shall they go about that, sir?"
Vader was annoyed by that question. The officer was clearly new, so Vader wouldn't kill him for his insolence.
"Kill round up civilians and execute them if you must. Anyone who tries to rebel is to be shot. Destroy the Royal Palace if you must, but make sure this planet's populace fears the Empire's wrath." Vader emphasized the last part with the ignition of his lightsaber, startling the officer. With that the Sith Lord left the planet to join the fray above, ready to end this game of cat-and-mouse once and for all.

The Star Destroyers rocked as they sustained fire from the combined fire of the enemy starships. A Venator's communications tower was destroyed from a salvo of turbolaser fire from one of the Lucrehulk battleships. The V-wings and TIE fighters tried desperately to combat against the enemy fighter squadrons, with little success in holding off the coming swarms of droid fighters and bombers. The crews of each ship scrambled to keep their ships from meeting a grizzly end. The Imperials returned fire, the turbolaser batteries of each ship spitting out lasers as fast as they could.
Vader was not impressed by the display of force that the rebels had. In fact, he didn't have much of any emotion at the moment. He was far to focused on piloting his fighter and trying to score as much damage to the enemy forces as he could. Of all of the enemy ships, he picked the first one to go after: a Lucrehulk battleship. The Sith Lord still remembered how he had destroyed such a ship (purely by accident) when he was but a child. But now he was a skilled pilot and strong in the ways of the Force. This was merely an exercise for him. Vader pushed the control yoke forward and his Eta-2 class interceptor leapt for the nearest Lucrehulk. On the way he acquired two V-wings on his port and starboard sides.
"We are ready to assist you, my lord," one of the V-wings called over the comm channel. "What are your orders."
"Keep the fighters away while I make my attack run on that battleship," he replied.
"Yes, sir." The two V-wings veered off and started to hit any droid fighters that got close. Vader switched his comm frequency to that of the Devastator's bridge.
"Captain, I want your main guns to target the communications arrays on those battleships. If you destroy those, the droids should become less of a problem."
"I will inform the main batteries to do so, my lord," came the reply of the Devastator's captain.
With that, Vader proceeded towards the Lucrehulk and evaded any turbolaser fire that came his way while he made his way to one of the hangars on the outer ring of the battleship. Vader grinned inside his helmet. It's just like old times, he thought, remembering back to when he did this same stunt nearly 14 years before. Probably in the same spot too. After dodging through most of the laser fire and eliminating any opposition that dared oppose him (and there was a lot of that), Vader pushed into the left hangar of the Lucrehulk battleship and gunned through the interior towards the main power core near the back of the ship.
OOC: Btw, Vader isn't on the ship that Cosmos is on.

The vultures and bomber continued to inflict damage in anyway they could on the ships of the Imperials. Thanks to the overwhelming number of vulture droids the enemy V-Wings and TIE-fighters were quickly thinning in numbers. The Venators (especially the communication less one) were particularly targeted by the bombers of the fleet. Master Cosmos hoped to put them out of the fight so they could focus more on the star destroyers and the Devastator.

While this was happening Master Cosmos received a communications request from the captain of one of his ships. He told him that Vader had entered through the hanger and was gunning it through the ship towards the power core. Master Cosmos thought it over and ordered the Captain to leave the ship along with the crew and droids. He knew that Vader would in all likelyhood destroy or tamper with the core and the ship would be destroyed. Minutes later gunships carrying the crew and troops began to head for the nearest friendly ship and unload their occupants. However Master Cosmos left multiple droids in between Vader and the Core in hopes of stopping him or slowing him down. While this was happening landing crafts began to disembark from the Lucrehulk and quickly accelerated in the direction of the Star Destroyers. Since they were guarded by dozens upon dozens of Vultures the gunships got through and began to land in the hangers of all three ships.

Several B2 battle droids walked into the hanger and surrounded the empty fighter of Darth Vader. Their forearms extended and began to fire.

OOC: It's fine. Vader is still in his fighter, though and the Devastator will have to get away from the fight without being destroyed or captured as it was with the Empire all the way up to the Battle of Endor.
IC: Vader felt the fighter shake under the fire of some of the droids in the ship, but ignored it and pushed the fighter a little harder for the core. He was pushed back into his seat by the increase in force, but he was accustomed to the feeling and ignored it. After a few minutes of flying through the ship, Vader found the reactors for the ship. Destroying them would result in the destruction of the vessel. He fired his fighters proton torpedoes at the reactors and then raced for the exit.
The torpedoes hit directly on target, destroying the reactors' casings and causing a major meltdown. The resulting explosion engulfed the ship in flames. Vader made it out just in time, as he had before. The Lucrehulk's destruction also damaged one of Krass's Munificent frigates that had gotten too close, clipping off it's port wing and damaging one of the hangars. The wounded ship broke off from the fight and moved towards the rear of the fleet, firing back at the Venators and Star Destroyers.
"Captain," Vader called. "Has that helped your forces any?"
"Yes, sir," Captain Bolvan replied. "We're picking up less droid activity than before, but we there are still several battleships left."
"Follow my orders, captain, and you'll have less trouble with the droids," Vader shot back. He could feel the officer cringe on the other end of the line.
"Yes, sir," the captain stuttered. Vader faintly heard the captain give the order to fire on the second Lucrehulk battleship's communication array.
One of the Venators in the Imperial fleet sustained too much damage to continue. Escape pods raced away from the vessel and soon afterwards, the ship blew into thousands of pieces, raining molten slag and other debris onto its neighboring warships. Inside the Star Destroyers' hangar bays, the few stormtroopers of the 501st that hadn't gone groundside aided in the fighting off of the droids, something they were quite accustomed to by this point. So far they were successful in preventing the droids from going any farther than the hangars, but they didn't know how long they could hold.
On Naboo, the stormtroopers followed through with the Order 37. A relatively simple operation, the order stated that the troopers were to round up a large number of civilians to use as hostages to force a certain HVT to turn himself or herself in. Anyone that refused to be with the other hostages would be killed on the spot. If the HVT did not give up, the whole group would be killed and a new one would be formed and so on. The Royal Palace and its occupants were the first choice for the order. The rest of the city of Theed was being ransacked, walkers firing into public buildings, stormtroopers raiding houses for possible choices for hostages and some bombers hitting the local airfields to prevent any escape. None of the troopers liked to do this kind of operation, but it had to be done to show that rebellion against the Empire was intolerable.

A large mass of gunships from the five remaining lucrehulks met up into one large cloud as they torpedoed towards the gap. Meanwhile dozens upon dozens of Vultures flew alongside them taking down and V-Wings or TIE fighters in their way. As this happened the other Vultures began to take attention away from the fleet of gunships by swarming the nearest Imperial Ships while the bombers strafed the hull of the ships targeting their weapons armaments. Master Cosmos in his Jedi starfighter led the charge taking down the TIE's and V's that tried to block their path.

Master Cosmos seeing that one of the communications arrays of one of his ships were being fired upon made an order. The order was to fall back a considerable distance so as to escape the range of the Imperial Vessels. This was issued to all ships if push came to shove. As this happened the engineers and technicians on the Lucrehulk Flagship were busy working on reestablishing control of the offline vulture droids. Their plan was to move their operation signal to the flagship and continue fighting. A small amount of them were coming back online but a vast majority were still offline.

The droids in the hanger bays were exchanging heavy fire with the 501st. Several droids have already been reduced to scrap but their were still many to take up the slack. The Super battle droids in all three hangers began to open fire using the rocket launchers built into their arms. They fired into the 501st defensive line while the standard battle droids continued to pound mercilessly into their ranks.

Master Dy'lan came out of lightspeed and seen the skirmish. He order thed ship to take the longest way possible and get to the planeet now. Something felt wrong. The Empire had a sinister plan, and he must get there now.

The Queen refused to leave the city, and stated she would proudly die with her people. Master Deno reached out with the force, and performed another example of the lightsides power. He reached out and surrounded the palace area with a force shield, and stood in the center of the Queens throne room, looking out at Theed.

The Star Destroyers next to the gap tried desperately to destroy the gunships, but failed with the large swarms of droid fighters taking up most of the point-defense lasers' attention. Captain Bolvan noticed the Lucrehulks proceed outside of the Devastator's turbolaser range and cursed. He wanted to pursue, but the fire from the Bulwark battlecruiser and its escorts made that impossible. Desperate to try to make a difference in the fight, the captain ordered the Devastator to fire on the Bulwark battlecruiser, while the point-defense systems kept the droid bombers away from the ship.
The stormtroopers in the hangars tried desperately to keep the battle droids away, taking heavy losses as a result. The droids just kept coming. The troopers were lobbing EMP grenades to thin out the droids ranks with some effect. Some retrieved E-WEB heavy repeating cannons to keep the droids at bay. One group, on the Star Destroyer Wraith, used the heavy firepower of an extra AT-TE to destroy the droids. Through it all, the 501st held firm and continued to keep the droids in the hangars.
Vader noticed the rebel ground forces being deployed and grinned. The fools had sprung the trap. After taking out a few droid starfighters attacking a Venator cruiser, Vader contacted an officer through the fighter's Holonet.
"Now, captain," Vader said. The tiny blue figure in front of him bowed and vanished.
In the event the Naboo proved hostile to the blockade over their planet, Vader left a few ships out of the main formation over the planet to help give the fleet some relief, should it have needed that. The reinforcements arrived no sooner than Vader had called. Another Imperial Star Destroyer came out of hyperspace, followed by what the fleet needed: four Carrack-class light cruisers and five CR90 corvettes, each armed for anti-fighter roles. The Star Destroyer pursued after the fleeing Lucrehulks, firing its turbolasers at the nearest of the five behemoths, while the smaller support craft came in to plug up the gap. The cruisers and corvettes began to fire like mad, hitting every fighter that came across them lasers, causing the droids to burst into brilliant white plumes of debris.
Vader came up from behind the new arrivals and aided them in their efforts. With the rebels truly committed to the battle now, especially with their forces on the ground, they would have no choice but the combat the Imperials. And the Jedi would have to show themselves eventually to even out the fight. That's when Vader noticed the Delta-7 amongst the furball (pilot slang for a large cluster of fighters) of droids. And it appears I have found one, he thought with dark glee. No one else in the Republic flew a Delta-7 other than the Jedi and since the pilot of the craft lasted this long, that was all the proof Vader needed. He brought his fighter behind the Jedi's and fired with his twin laser cannons.

Master Cosmos had to make a quick stationary barrel roll as the laser fire zoomed past the ship and cockpit. That was close. He thought to himself. He tuned his head around to see who was shooting at him and was surprised at what he saw. He saw Darth Vader piloting his fighter and judging by the continual laser fire he was aiming to kill. Master Cosmos had to shake him or at least damage his fighter long enough for him to escape to his ship or the surface. Since they were both going at top speed if he were to stop dead in space Vader would have to get out of the way or crash. Master Cosmos did just that and Vader came darting past underneath him. Taking the opportunity Master Cosmos began to open fire on Vader from behind.

Much of the frontlines of Droids have been put out of commission by the 501st continual defense of the hangers. However there was still the middle and backlines to deal with. The Super battle droids continued their explosive bombardment of the defensive lines and the standard droids continued to let loose blaster fire on anything moving on the storm troopers side of the hanger.

Onboard the Wraith many of the super battle droid focused on the AT-TE group by open fire on its legs and surrounding troops.

On the surface of Naboo hundreds of LAATs descended from the skies and landed in and around the capitol of Theed. Within minutes of landing the vast amount of rebel troops and battle droids of multiple variants began a massive battle around and within the capitol. Several of the vulture escorts began to search the area for mechanized and armored targets. While this was happening the troops began to spread throughout Theed and rescue the captured citizens from the stormtroopers.

A separate gunship flew away from the battle and landed close to the Gungan Capitol of Otoh Gunga hoping to gain their support.

In space the battle was intensifying with the arrival of Imperial reinforcement. The Lucrehulks began to focus their fire on the small escorts of the star destroyer while the vultures and bombers targeted their weapons armaments and engines. They hoped to take out the smaller vessels so they could focus on the bull that was currently charging at them.

A single vulture being chased by two TIE fighters crashes into the bridge of the last Imperial Venator causing a massive explosion with a shockwave running through the ship.

Diamond Boron missiles and laser turrets targeted enemy locations, and Master Deno continued to hold up the structual integrity off the Royal Palace. 50 Senate gaurds lowered to the city in 5 LAAT's and made way to hold the Palace.

Master Dy'lan leaped out and landed on the ground in Theed sending out a devistating blow. He used the force to soften his landing, but also forced out, knocking over dozens of troopers around him. He then drew his saber and ignited its aqua blue blade. He began slicing through stormtroopers to reach the Palace.

Master Cosmos wished Master Dy'lan good luck in his mind as he continued to dogfight with the exceptionally and dangerously skilled pilot that is Darth Vader. He hoped Master Dy'lan could reach the Palace were the Queen was and hopefully the other Jedi that took refuge on Naboo.
