"What do we do next Master Deno?" he asked. "Do we walk up and take it or do we have to transport it in a special way?"

"Do not touch it with your hands. The room would collapse. 2 jedi must move it. One must use the force to hold a button in position while the other lifts it with the vorce. Do not touch it until we leave the room to The Works. Otherwise, you will die and the room will crumble. Who believes they can hold the button in with the force? The force will try to push it out, so you must be strong." Deno knew the jedi could do it.

Master Cosmos thought it over. "I'll keep the button in place to the best of my ability. I'll most likely will have to concentrate so I might not be as helpful if we come to any problems on the way out."

"I'll use the Force to take the Holocron," Celeste stated. She stood next to Master Cosmos and turned to him.
"Ready," she asked Cosmos.

"Ready." He Lifted his hand up pointing it towards the button. "Activating it now."
A second later he used the force to hold the button in position. He felt the Force beginning to swell around the button. It was trying to release the button but Master Cosmos knew that couldn't be allowed to happen.

Celeste concentrated on the holocron and used the Force to lift it off its pedestal. For a second, Celeste thought the room was going to collapse, but nothing happened. Cosmos had the button under control. Celeste brought the holocron closer to her. It was then that Karness appeared again.
"Bring it closer," he cackled. "It may be the last hope for the Jedi and when I destroy it, the Sith's rule will be eternal!"
Celeste thought about that and decided to use the Force to give Krass the holocron. Karness noted this and rebelled against it.
"What are you doing, you fool," he yelled, "we could've finished off the Jedi and you could've ruled the galaxy! Damn you, Morne!" With that, Karness retreated back into the talisman, fuming at the missed opportunity. Krass grabbed the holocron out of the air and held it close.
"I got it," he said. "Now what?"

"You must leave, fast. First, Cosmos must hold the button while he and everyone else escapes. He must be able to hold it down with the force as not only us, but he also gets into The Works." Deno appeared at the door across the room.

"I understand." He looked at the door. "Lets hurry then."

"No arguments here," Maris said and she made her way to the door, with Krass and Celeste in tow. They made it through the door and waited for Cosmos.

Master Cosmos proceeded steadily towards the door after everyone was through. One step at a time he thought. He did not want to go to quick or he might break focus and kill all of them. As he neared the door he began to use both hands as he could feel the force strengthening around the holocron. A short time later he was through the door with everyone else.

Deno appeared and spoke to the jedi.
"Go through the works and exit by the senate. The force will guide you through the Works, for they are very complex. Keep the holocrons signature concealed.

Krass, Maris, Celeste, and Cosmos proceeded ahead into the Works, using the Force to guide them. Krass concealed the holocron's signature in the Force, though it was a little difficult. The Force just dripped from the holocron and with such an intensity that Krass would have thought the entire Jedi Council was inside. He only hoped that his efforts were sufficient.
"So how do we get off the planet," Maris asked.
"We're going to use the ships we have," Krass said. "If we leave those here and no one picks them up, the Empire will get suspicious."
"And leaving the planet after a few hours' stay isn't suspicious," Maris asked.
"Stealing a ship will not help us stay inconspicuous," Celeste added in. Maris gave up and proceeded ahead of the group and tried to scout out the route ahead, leaving Krass, Celeste and Cosmos alone.
"She certainly is impatient," Celeste noted.
"I'm working on that. She still has a long way to go before Knighthood," Krass said.
"Indeed she does." The group walked in silence from there, conversing only about how to get back to the spaceport from the Senate Building.

"My men will most likely have returned to the ship we came on." Master Cosmos said. "Will the Imperials figure out of its existence if we get off planet?" He said thinking about the Holocon.

"Unlikely. I don't believe the Empire knows of this holocron's existence, otherwise we would have encountered a lot more resistance," Krass pointed out. "It will be the same off world. The Empire won't even begin to look for this unless Vader or the Emperor knows about it."

[Pantorrum]

Deno responded to their words.
"The Empire, i believe, will remain unknowledgable of the situation, as long as we get off the planet by sunrise. I dont know where the Emperor is, but i dont think Vader or Palpatine are on Coruscaunt. We must move fast. Once we hit the surface, it will be much harder to conceal the holocron."

Master Cosmos agreed with both of them. "We should probably avoid Imperials and large concentrations of people when we reach the top."

"Agreed," Krass and Celeste said. It wasn't to much farther to their destination. It was only a matter of time.

Over the planet Byss, Deep Core
While the Jedi were escaping with the holocron, the Emperor was observing the construction of a new weapon of war for the Empire: the prototype for the new Super Star Destroyer class warships. The prototype looked weak at this point as it was nothing more than a skeletal frame over the planet of Byss, but upon completion, it will be the flagship of the Imperial Navy and it will usher in a new age of warship designs as per the Doctrine of Fear. It was a glorious sight, even now. The wedge-shaped superstructure measured roughly 12 km in length and it would later contain hundreds, if not thousands, of weapons ranging from laser cannons to turbolaser batteries to ion cannons.
As Palpatine viewed the construction from his throne aboard the Star Destroyer Vanguard, he felt something odd in the Force, but he wasn't sure what it was. Curious, he focused on the disturbance to find out what it was. The disturbance came from Coruscant, but he couldn't make out what it was. All he saw was the glows of the Light Side of the Force begin to burn brighter in the fabric of the Force. Not just on Coruscant, but everywhere in the galaxy. A victory for the Jedi! I will not have this, the Emperor thought angrily.
Palpatine activated his commlink embedded into the throne's right arm and contacted Darth Vader.
"Lord Vader," the Emperor acknowledged as Vader's hologram bowed before Palpatine.
"What is thy bidding, my master," Vader asked.
"Did you not feel the disturbance in the Force just now," Palpatine asked.
"I have, master. The Jedi have made a great discovery of some kind."
"Then it is not too late to stop their plans. I have located the source to Coruscant," the Emperor informed.
"I shall head their immediately, my master. The Jedi shall not achieve this victory." Vader's hologram winked out of existence.
"No they will not," Palpatine whispered to himself. He continued to stare at the construction of the SSD.

Master Cosmos felt the force poke at him as they continued to walk. He was not sure what it was exactly. One thing he knew however was that it was something important. "Did the rest of you feel that?"

Deno realized a horrible truth.
"I have felt something. We are no longer a secret. Now is the time to run."

"Yes I did," Krass said.
"The Sith have found us," Celeste warned.

Deno realized a horrible truth.
"I have felt something. We are no longer a secret. Now is the time to run."

"You're right, Master Deno," Krass said. "Let's move."
The group ran through the rest of the Works and proceeded to the exit near the Senate Building.
"We should split up and get back to our ships. We'll meet at our final destination," Krass said. "Let's go. May the Force be with you, Cosmos."
Krass, Celeste, and Maris made their way back to the spaceport and started up their shuttle. As Krass was finishing the startup sequence, he noticed Celeste was frozen in fear. He didn't know what was wrong until he felt the disturbance himself. His blood went cold at the presence.
"He is here," Celeste whispered.
"Then let's not stay," Krass said and keyed the engines. He contacted Coruscant Flight Control and got the notification that he was number three in line to take off. He would have to wait for a YT-1300 transport and a CR-70 corvette. The latter was already proceeding towards the stars, while the former had just begun to start up its engines. Damn it, Krass cursed. We may be doomed.

Coruscant, Core region
Darth Vader knew where to go. The Jedi Temple, he saw, had changed very little since the night he led the raid against the traitorous Jedi. It was still in shambles, but he could tell that someone was here recently. The dead or injured stormtroopers near the entrance and the holes cut into the elevator doors revealed that. And he knew why the Jedi would have been here: to get a holocron from the Jedi Archives. During the sacking of the temple, Vader had the troopers confiscate any pieces of the Jedi Archives that they could acquire. The troopers had done as told and killed any Jedi that got in their way, but there were still pieces in the temple that had been left undisturbed. And it appears that one of those pieces were the Jedi's goal, Vader thought as he reached the hallway that contained a hole through its elevator doors. He proceeded down the hall to see which the holocron Jedi may have taken.

Master Cosmos rushed back to his XS-800. To his relief his entire team had returned to the ship and were waiting for him. "Start up the engines and contact flight control, we're leaving now." The copilot did just that and was informed that they were second in line. This was because they landed in a relatively quit port. The ship in front of them had their engines on line and were proceeding towards space. An excruciating few minutes past before the control tower gave them clearance to leave. Seconds later they began to quickly head towards the blackness of space expecting to have their hyperdrive online by the time they were ready.

After waiting for the freighter to leave, Krass finally received permission to takeoff, which he did with some haste. The shuttle took off and followed the same route it had taken to Coruscant. As the he brought the shuttle through the atmosphere, Krass noted the increase in security over the planet. He saw a transport going to one of the many skyhooks over the planet being stopped by an Imperial Star Destroyer and searched before it was sent on to its destination, where it will be checked again for anything dangerous. Luckily, Krass's ship wasn't stopped and he, Celeste, and Maris shared a sigh of relief as Krass brought the shuttle into hyperspace.
Meanwhile, Vader found himself outside of a large chamber that was sealed by plasma barriers. He looked around for a way to bring down the barriers or gain access to the chamber. Seeing none, Vader moved to one of the wall that was connected to the barrier and placed his hand against the it, trying to find the source of the power flow to the barrier. After a few minutes of searching, Vader found the source. It was located in a room located near the chamber, just a level above. Vader back tracked to the elevator shaft and proceeded one level up to finish off the power source and find out what the Jedi found so interesting about a holocron.

After breaking away from the gravity of Coruscant the XS-800 went immediately into Hyperspace. With the team now at ease Master Cosmos sends a message to the fleet that they were alright. Also he tells them to start up their hyperdrives and start heading for the rendezvous point. Meanwhile the members of the team that had searched the surface for information were being debriefed by Master Cosmos.

"Now, we must go to Tython."

"Dev, have the fleet ready to jump as soon as we arrive," Krass told the tiny hologram of the Clone Commander.
"Yes, sir. We await your arrival." Dev's image winked out of existence.
"Where are we going from here," Celeste asked.
"We're going to go to the birth place of the Jedi Order: Tython," Krass stated. Celeste raised an eyebrow questioningly.
"Why are we going there? To collect more artifacts?"
"Better. We are going to pick up Jedi," Krass grinned.
"More Jedi? Thank the Force," Celeste sighed. She shared Krass's grin. She turned to check if Maris was listening in on the conversation, but found the woman practicing her meditation.
"She has at least learned something," Celeste remarked. That caused Krass to raise an eyebrow.
"I taught her well enough," he said defensively. "The skirmishes with the Empire have not allowed for proper training."
Celeste chuckled. "I do not mean any offence, Master Udelles. I was merely kidding." Krass felt his face burn at that comment. He turned back to his console.
"Forgive my outburst," he said "checking" the navigation console for discrepancies that didn't exist. Celeste put her hand on his shoulder.
"I want to thank you for what you did back at the temple," she said changing topics, much to Krass's relief.
"No thanks are necessary, Master Morne."
"You know, ever since I've had this blasted curse upon me, no one wished to help me. Why are you?"
Krass turned his chair to face Celeste. "I am helping you because I believe you have carried this burden for far too long and you should be rid of it." He didn't say the exact reason why he was doing it, since he was still contemplating what that reason was. Celeste saw through that but didn't press it.
"Well... thank you, Krass." Celeste turned her seat back to view the long white streaks of hyperspace. Krass noted the use of his first name and turned to view the viewport himself.
Within a few hours, the shuttle arrived at the fleet and boarded the Pride of the Republic. As soon as the shuttle was aboard, the fleet leapt into hyperspace, bound for Tython.
