STAR WARS THE JEDI RESISTANCE(IC)

The Mandalorians were suprised to see such an offensive. Suddenly they were all worried. Aul's ship had lifted off and left for orbit. In his hands was a detonator controlling the not yet disarmed bombs placed around the base of the tower and many buildings around it. The bombs were extremely powerful, and many blocks and smaller skyscrapers would come falling down. The big one would be damaged and soon enough fall over. It would take tim, and the toll wouldn't be as high, but it would still attract attention. The Mandalorians tried to get away when they seen this because they knew what was going to happen. They wouldn't make it. The bombs exploded bring buildings down above and around the clones, as they had been trying to disarm the bombs. Many buildings would come crumbling down, and the big building received some serious damage. It would fall eventually. That was ineviatable. The clones would likely have suffered death in the massive explosions and piles of rubble. Ven one surviving would be infathimable...

Not long after the explosions rocked the city, Imperial Coruscant Security forces rushed to the site to lock it down as firefighting droids and speeders tried to put out the fires that remained. Soon word spread through the Imperial security network and the fleet surrounding the planet began to increase security checks and get more suspicious of every ship that came to and left from Coruscant. Imperial Intelligence began to look into the situation to understand what had happened and how to prevent it from happening again. For the next few days, Coruscant would be on a security lock down.

500 Repulibca, 15th floor

After taking a 10 hour nap, Laf Daunch woke up from his deep slumber. He wiped both of his Neimodian eyes and then proceeded to view the holonet for today. He saw the announcement about Corucsant being locked down, this shocked him completely. Now he had no way to get off the planet and back to the Outer rim, should he need to. He figured this was the best time to speak to the Senator from Mandalore.
Laf freshened up and got his red, wealthy-looking Neimodian robes on. He then quickly boarded his shuttle and took off for the Imperial Senate Building.

His shuttle landed on the docking platform and Laf departed it. Once he made it in, this time he waited outside of the Senator's office. He had hoped that the Senator would either walk by or motion him in.

Aul soon learned of a lock down on Coruscaunt and scowled. The Imperials would be fighting the flames in vein, as the flames were immense. It would take time to put them out. Until then, of course, the Mandalorians would launch terror attacks against Kuat. 3 small frigates jumped to hyperspace to the planet. They were unmanned except by a single droid each. The ships had no intention of stopping, but crashing into the extensive ship yard surrounding the planet. They wouldnt destroy it, but a section would be damaged...

Master Cosmos was pleased at the outcome of the meeting. However he felt that they need to continue the meeting on now that Laf had departed.
"As most of you know the Jedi and our allies have recently returned from a battle over a Sith Ice world. We lost several personnel and fighters during the battle however we walked away with something of great value. A group of frozen Old Republic soldiers. We were barely able to get them loaded up in time before we fled the system. At the moment my troops are unloading them from my Lucrehulk and are placing them close by the courtyard. I'd like to know if any of you have any ideas on how to defreeze them safely. Remember they've been frozen for countless years. We don't want to risk harming them in the process."

We might need to look in some old records in the archives," Master Dy'lan chimed.
"We may come across similar cases from the past. We might be in need of melting them quickly. Some secret, they may hold."

Master Deno gave some input.
"I say we try to discover a force technique to do it. Melting them with heat would cause damage. We do not want to expose them to any extreme's."

"We may come across similar cases from the past. We might be in need of melting them quickly. Some secret, they may hold."

Master Deno gave some input.
"I say we try to discover a force technique to do it. Melting them with heat would cause damage. We do not want to expose them to any extreme's."

Commander Striker stepped forward to give input. "Sir what if we used the heat in small portions, like how one gives medicine in small doses. We use a small amount of heat on them at certain intervals and we may be able to unfreeze them without any permanent damage." Then he thought of something else. "And what of General Kite sir? Do you have any plan to discover where he is being held or to secure his release? He has saved a good many lives by holding off that Sith Lord from taking care of the rest of the Jedi on the Expedition and me and my men."

Both Imperial and Kuati defenses took notice to the three frigates and began to scan the vessels for anything hostile, while the vessels were checked on the roster to see if they were supposed to go to the shipyards.
The scans didn't turn up anything dangerous inside the vessels, but the defense forces did make a shocking discovery: there were no lifeforms aboard the vessels. And with the ships proceeding towards the shipyards... the Imperials and the Kuatis didn't want to think about it.
Their reaction was swift. Two Kuati Procurator-class battleships and three Imperial Star Destroyers fired at the oncoming vessels, positioning themselves between the three frigates and the shipyards. TIE fighters, TIE bombers, and some older Delta-7 Aethersprites used by the Kuati Defense Forces went to intercept the frigates and at least damage their engine systems enough to prevent them from accelerating any more. The Imperials were intent on preventing these frigates from getting through. If they managed to get passed, however, there was a Victory I-class Star Destroyer waiting at the shipyards with its concussion missile tubes ready to pound the frigates into oblivion.

"I think using the archives should be our first plan," Master Cosmos said.
"We'll look through the archives first, if we don't find anything we'll attempt Commander Strikers method."
The Curator stood up and proceeded towards the door.
"I'll begin searching the archives now. As soon as I find something I'll notify the rest of the council."

The next few hours were a flurry of activity at Plett's mansion. Celeste, Maris, and Krass followed Kal along a thin trail along the walls of ice that encircled the habitable area. The trail led to an opening in the wall that looked appeared to be naturally formed, which would not raise any sort of suspicion among the population. However, as the group got close to the entrance of the opening, they found, much to their surprise, that the opening was a hangar. Inside, sat an Action IV transport and about 16 Clone Wars-era Y-Wings, with the transport taking up the center of the hangar and the fighters lining both sides of the hangar in rows of eight on each side.
Kal turned to see the amazed faces of the three Jedi and grinned. "This isn't the impressive part," he remarked. "You have no idea what we had to go through to get this stuff. And I don't think you want to know."
The rest of the time was spent with getting the Action IV transport ready for takeoff and loading it up with the supplies and personal items of each of the Jedi at the enclave. To help in the effort was a clone, by the name of Ordo, who had accompanied Kal since the last months of the Clone Wars. The Mandalorian regarded Ordo as if the clone was his son, though Ordo was actually brought into Kal's Mandalorian clan.
"If you have a problem with Ordo, you have a problem with me," Kal said after he introduced the three Jedi to his colleague.
It wasn't until the transport was fully loaded that Master Plett and Margolis arrived with the Jedi. Master Plett was the first to appear at the mouth of the cave, followed by Margolis, who carried a small bundle in her arms that squirmed a little bit: a baby girl, Krass saw as they approached. As the the two Jedi walked up to the transport, more Jedi began to appear, though they appeared to be about Margolis' age: around 20 years of age, perhaps a little younger. The youngest of these "elder" Jedi was a pair of twins, a boy and a girl, identified by Master Plett as Roganda and Lagan Ismaren. The rest of the Jedi were nothing more than younglings of varying species, including Wookies, Bith, an Ithorian and a Twi'leck. In total, there were about three dozen Jedi standing in the frozen cave, all looking up to Master Plett, Margolis, and Krass and his colleagues.
"My friends," Master Plett began, "a year ago, I promised you all safety from the Empire as I lead you all from the Jedi Temple that fateful night. Though our home on Belsavis is compromised, I will keep my promise and, with the help of our new friends"- he gestured to Krass, Maris, and Celeste- "you will all be kept safe from the Empire. Now, Master Udelles will inform you as to where we are to go from here. Master Udelles." All eyes shifted from Plett to Krass.
The Jedi Master was not big on speeches, but he tried his best. "After we break through the atmosphere," Krass said, "all of you will follow my ship, a Class VI transport, to the Karthakk system. The system is largely left alone by the Empire, save for the occasional stray supply convoy. Should, for any reason, we get separated, make at least one random jump before you proceed to the Karthakk system, for security reasons. Should this happen, use this frequency to transmit a clearance code, which is the first line of the Jedi Code, 'There is no emotion, there is peace.' Use that, and you will be accepted.
"Once we are in orbit, my transport can carry all of your starfighters, though, I will admit, it will be a bit cramped aboard the transport if that happens. I wish to see all of you at the Karthakk system. May the Force be with all of us."
With that, those that could pilot the Y-wings went to the fighters and began their pre-flight checks, while only a handful joined Master Plett and Margolis aboard the transport. Krass and his colleagues said their good-byes and returned down the path towards the village. Another hour passed before they were walking up the boarding ramp of their transport and another ship settled down in a space adjacent to the Class VI.
As the Class VI began to take-off and relayed the information via the communication frequency given to the group by Kal, Darth Maul stepped out of the belly of his transport and marched into the village, unaware that his query was already in the process of leaving.

Hypori, Hypori System

Fushyl continued to prowl the halls of the droid foundry on Hypori. He observed the assembly lines and kept track of the incoming and outcoming ships entering the system. He was concerned for a slightly about the Sith and Imperial joint forces collaborating together, he knew both could be a deadly bunch and the galaxy could be more at risk than anything with them working together. Within a few minutes of thought Fushyl was interrupted by his protocol droid.
"Sir, sir!" The droid yelled. "There has just been a terrorist attack on Corucsant and it's on mandatory shutdown!" He yelled. "And we also track Corucsant as Senator Laf's last location, what will we do?!"
Fushyl was surprised and motioned the droid to slow down. "Slow down, slow down, slow down! First, tell me what you know." He asked.
"I know very little, the empire knows very little..Who could've done this?" The droid wondered.
"I haven't the strangest idea..But if these attacks continue, they could disrupt the peace which is exactly what the empire wants, chaos and death. However, that is not our goal..Our goal is ensuring Laf gets out of there, alive." Fushyl said. "Keep me updated on the situation on Corucsant, and get me General Rush.." Fushyl said. The droid ran off and soon enough a connection was established with general rush.
"General...I have news to report."

Darth Thyferus observed the Jedi in his trance and shook his head. He turned to the Emperor. "I would rather not keep the Jedi here as it may draw an all out attack from the Jedi. Perhaps you could move him to a secure facility. And I do recommend sending that scout soon."

General Rush hastily answered his communicator, but in silence.
"What do you want, Jedi. I am in the process of hiding from the Imperials."

"General, I know very little and the empire knows very little.." Fushyl said. "However, from what we do know, we can say whoever did this didn't have the brightest of intentions. There was a terrorist attack on Corucsant, which is why it's on lockdown. Multiple buildings have been blown up, and I expect one of them to fall down soon..Anyway, General, I advise looking into this once you're safe. It's worth it."

ICE WORLD

Thyferus was growing impatient as he sensed the agitation and suspense flowing off his fleet in waves as his Troops were eager for battle once again. Finally he couldn't stand it anymore. He turned to the Emperor and Vader with an impatient look. "We have been waiting long enough, I am ordering an attack on Geonosis. My Fleet will bombard the planet from orbit so as to avoid the strenuous work of scouring the planet for the enemy positions. My decision shall not be changed. Do whatever you want with the Jedi." He began to stride from the Interrogation Room but he paused in the doorway and spoke to the two.
"Emperor, I have restarted the Sith Academy on Korriban and we have some 100 or so new Acolytes in training now, needless to say many came unwillingly." He then spoke to Vader without looking back at him. "And you Lord Vader, you should try and keep a better handle on your emotions. Too much anger and frustration can be a bad thing, even for a Sith which you barely are." He put stress on the word Lord as if to say Vader had not earned the title. He exited the chamber and began to walk down the hallway which was lined with Saber Guards. He knew that Vader had power, he just needed to know how much power. Hence he had egged him on and expected him to burst either now or in a short while.

ICE WORLD

Thyferus thought for a moment before talking to the Emperor. "Emperor since you will need some time to send a scout I am sending a Fury Interceptor to scout the Geonosis System. Unless you can produce a scout from thin air, I will be giving the orders for them to proceed." He began to activate his comlink.

"There is no need for that," the Emperor said, raising his hand to stop Thyferus from using his commlink. "I will have my ships send out scouts to the Geonosis system, Darth Thyferus."
The order was given soon afterwards, and an Imperial Star Destroyer broke away from the Imperial fleet and sped towards the edge of the Geonosis system.

Beyond the edge of the Geonosis system
The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer dropped out of hyperspace just beyond the edge of the Geonosis system. The Star Destroyer floated dangerously close to the comets and asteroids that drifted in this portion of space, blasting any that got too close. With a position secured, the Star Destroyer deployed several hyperspace pods towards Geonosis.
The pods came out of hyperspace at Geonosis, though their exit would hardly have been noticed as their hyperspace ruptures were relatively tiny. The pods decreased their velocity and floated into the asteroid belt surrounding Geonosis. A few pods deployed to the surface, while the rest hid among the asteroids. As both groups arrived at their destinations, Imperial Viper-class probe droids were released and proceeded to scan for any threats near Geonosis. If anything was found, the droids would transmit their findings to the Imperial Star Destroyer at the edge of the system.
