IC: The TIE fighters did take some losses, though their decreased mass gave them some speed advantage. Some of the TIE fighters managed to dodge the torpedoes, which continued to pursue their targets. The TIE pilots being pursued by those torpedoes got the idea to fly straight towards the enemy fighters, laser cannons ablaze to keep the enemy pilots' attention focused on them. When the pilots felt that they were close enough, they zipped past the enemy fighters and let their tailing torpedoes slam right into the enemy fighters. It worked, though some TIE fighters were destroyed during their dash towards the enemy fighter squadron.
From then on, the TIE fighters agility, speed, and numbers came into play. Out of the 2,100 TIE fighters originally protecting the blockade, nearly 1,800 were still left to deal with the pests. Wherever the pilots of Red Squadron looked, there were at least 20 TIE fighters dogging them. The fighters began to light up their targets, hitting them with their twin laser cannons and zipping past them before the pilots could react.
Some of the TIE fighters that attacked Red Squadron were prototypes that were armed with proton torpedo launchers. Those TIE fighters were used to hit the gunship. The TIE fighters launched their proton torpedoes at the enemy gunship and turned away, heading back to their carrier ships.
Finally, some of the anti-fighter defenses of Gahl's Star Destroyer aided the TIE fighters and fired at the enemy fighters that got too close. For added security, Gahl had all enlisted personnel aboard his ship to be on standby to repel boarders. He was not going to lose this ship, not to rebels or a Jedi that just wouldn't quit.

OOC: Sorry about the stormtrooper thing. I misunderstood that then, since I thought one trooper was left where he died while the other one was thrown into the ravine, so I thought I would have my ground forces be alerted to your trick. And my admiral is kind of an amateur Grand Admiral Thrawn, though he is still prone to mistakes.
IC: Gahl growled as he saw all the enemy ships retake their old positions and fired at the blockade. He wished for some reinforcements or something with extra firepower to deal with these pests, but he would have to make due with what he had. He ordered for the Star Destroyers to batter the enemy fleet once again. This time, however, he ordered for the Star Destroyers to have their bows face the enemy fleet and lower them by five degrees. This would enable the Star Destroyers of the blockade to present all of their whole armament of weapons, while making them smaller targets for the enemy ships to hit. Now the odds were more even.
The Star Destroyers of the blockade fired all of their weapons this time, hammering the enemy fleet with every turbolaser, ion cannon, and missiles that each ship had. Their main targets were the command bridges, hangars, and top weaponry of each ship. TIE bombers were being held back for the time being, until an opening in the enemy fighters could be made. The rest of the TIE fighters that were not wrapped up in destroying Red Squadron and its gunship went out to greet the oncoming wave of enemy ships. The TIE fighters fired their laser cannons, creating walls of green bolts of energy flying straight into the oncoming enemy forces. Once the two forces met, the TIE fighters bobbed and weaved their way through the enemy ships, hitting any that they could. Soon, the two forces turned into a giant "furball", as fighter jocks would call it: a huge mass of fighters, bombers, and similar craft condensed into one giant, moving mass, usually in the form of a giant ball, hence the name.
Gahl watched it all play out. He checked for an update on the anti-fighter support and was told that the first two frigates were still 90 standard minutes out, while a second group of three Tartan Patrol Cruisers were about 2 standard hours from arrival. Gahl silently cursed Vader for not bringing any of those ships along in the first place, but he digressed. He had to stay focused on the battle at hand. As the battle raged on, Gahl wondered to himself why the rebels were going to such lengths just to help the Wookie population. He was completely missing the point as to why the enemy force was there in the first place.

Above Kashyyyk

All of a sudden, from the distance, the jedi fleet fired all its weapons at the star destroyers causing the most trouble. Thousands of laser shots, dozens of missiles, and hundreds of torpedo's would strike the ships and likely kill the many Imperials. Over 100 fighters were massed and sent to help the gunship escape.

Stealth Ship

the sip blasted off up into the atmosphere with the rebels finally on board. It tried to mask its magnetic frequency and the Mon Calamari cruiser sent off a signal disruption frequency and tried to block any Imperial scanners from picking up the ship. It went the long way, and as soon as it cleared the atmosphere it would jump to another system. The Mon Calamari cruiser also jammed Imperial transmissions.

Damaged Frigate from prior engagement

In order to get the rebels out alive, the damaged frigate had been evacuated over a distant planet and loaded with thousands of pounds of explosive armaments. The ship was programmed to jump to the exact position of the Imperial flagship where the admiral's transmission was detected. In less than 5 minutes, the ship would be destroyed and the admiral dead. The Imperials would become power hungry as usual, and hopefully enough disorder would ensue to allow the jedi a smooth escape. It was only a matter of time. Even if they did activate their gravity well generators, the ship would still hit at an alarming speed, and still destroy the ship.

On Tython

A group of 20 troops in shining senate gaurd armor walked out and lined the pathway. Master Dy'lan walked through and greeted the newcomers.

"Welcome, I am Master Dy'lan. WHat can I do for you today on Tython my Jedi friends?"

Kite managed to get his Gunship through the Blockade though it would probably shut down from multiple system failures in mere moments so he pushed the damaged engines as hard as he could and made sure they gave off every scrap of power left in them. He finally skidded into the Hanger of his Venator Flagship and leapt out of the cockpit as the Gunship came to a halt on its side, one of its wings having been snapped off. Kite turned to the nearest Officer. "Tell the Admiral to recall the Fighters, Kashyyk is in Imperial Hands but we have achieved our goal."

Kashyyyk
Master Cosmos nodded, "Now get yourself healed Captain Fordo."
Before the Stealth ship took off he had a few of the clones help him in making the clones look like destroyed versions of themselves. After it was finished they looked as if they had been shot down in the fighting above the planet. Master Cosmos launched the gunships into the atmosphere as the Stealth ship took off. The plan was to have them break into space then shut off their engines. They would be on a course for the Flagship looking like completely destroyed husks. Since their were no life signs aboard the crafts they would hopefully not be targeted by the mass of TIE fighters. Once they got close enough they would turn their engines back on and crash into the Sensors Array of the Flagship. Master Cosmos would watch their progress and help them reach their destination from the Stealth ship.

Tython
Quinlan Vos introduced themselves.
"Master Cosmos sent us here. We would like sanctuary here and training for the younglings and my son."
He pointed at the young wookiees standing before him.

The disruption frequency worked, though the Imperial forces were more focused on neutralizing the remaining threats than trying to destroy one small ship. Gahl was doing his best to protect his fleet from utter destruction, though he knew it was only a matter of time before something slipped. Humans were prone to error and Gahl was no exception to that rule, though he liked to think otherwise. As Gahl focused on the battle, the comms officer broke in.
"Sir, we have a transmission coming in from an Admiral Adar Tallon," the officer called.
"What does he want," Gahl demanded. I don't need another Imperial officer bugging me at the moment, he grumbled.
"He was informed of our situation by a higher official and is willing to contribute his battlecruiser, the Battalion, to the fight. He awaits your decision."
A higher official, Admiral Gahl pondered. Then it came to him. Vader. Gahl was glad for a moment, though he remained puzzled. Why would Vader want to help me, he wondered. He pushed the thought aside. He would worry about that later.
"Tell Admiral Tallon to make best speed to the system," he said. "How long will it be until he arrives?"
The officer looked up from his console. "Roughly four standard hours, sir," he said with some hesitation.
Gahl sighed. Of course, he grumped to himself. That is just like Vader. The Dark Lord was willing to help, but clearly Gahl did something wrong so the time he had to wait for the Battalion to arrive was his punishment. He returned his attention to the battle. He would just have to hold out until the battlecruiser arrived.

Master Dy'lan closed his eyes, and looked as if he was ignoring the man as he spoke, but he was not.

"I sense great strength in these younglings. I foresee them becoming great jedi. I will grant all of you refuge here. You are always welcome on Tython, and after all, any friend of Master Cosmos is a friend of mine."

He turned and gestured for them to follow.

"This temple had lain here deserted for centuries. After order 66, we were spread throughout the galaxy until My mentor, Master Deno, helped rebuild it with the help of a lost jedi, Master Stephen. The temple was built to house the jedi order, and i am more than happy to accept you into your new home."

He walked them through the main part of the temple until they reached a sealed door.

"Beind this door is the one place you cannot go. You are welcome anywhere, except here. Behind this door lay the Jedi holocrons I and the other Masters have collected."

He proceeded to show them the rest of the temple until he reached the room they would live in. It opened and displayed a large room with a tall window. The window looked out onto the training grounds, and beyond that, the greenery of Tython.

Above Kashyyyk

The frigate blew strait into the Imperial Star Destroyer that the admiral had contacted Gates on. The frigate was moving to fast for even Gravity well generators to stop. The stealth ship managed to jump to lightspeed away from the battle. After the frigate crashed into the flagship at lightspeed, or at least near lightspeed, the fighters withdrew. Likely more than 1 star destroyer was damaged, and at least 1 destroyed. Gates didnt have time to find out. More Imperial might show up in time. His ships turned, and jumped to lightspeed. Today, several star destroyers were destroyed and an Admiral may have been killed unless he managed somehow to escape the destruction of his ship. With the Imperial fleet damaged and the admiral killed, the Impire would be wounded over Kashyyyk for some time. This victory over Imperial forces lifted the spirits of the fleet knowing their first battle was also their first victory. gates was satisfied to have rubbed that admirals words in his dead, cold face. He smiled as kashyyyk vanished behind him.

Kite saw what his compatriots did to the Imperial Fleet and knew the chaos inside the Blockade would not last long. He was now on the Bridge and all Fighters, Bombers, and Shuttles had returned. He turned to the Admiral. "Let us take our leave." The Admiral nodded as the Fleet jumped to Hyperspace heading for Tython and most of its troops to barracks to rest or medical bays. Kite had to go to the Medical Bay as well but arrival at Tython was expected to be within three standard hours.

Space above Kashyyyk

With the flagship destroyed the gunships headed into the direction of the closest Star Destroyer. They floated towards the bridge of the ship with almost no interference. A few TIE fighters past by but they didn't seem to care about the gunships as they appeared to be just wrecks. Minutes later the gunships were close enough to reignite their engines. Quickly they blasted down toward the command bridge as lasers began to fly past. Master Cosmos was helping them avoid the shots from aboard Stealth ship. Three TIE fighters tried to stop them but they were to late. They were caught in the explosion as the gunships crashed into the bridge. Whether it did damage or not the rebels had still destroyed the Flagship nd hopefully the admiral along with it.

The blockade was undeterred from the destruction of Gahl's Star Destroyer. If anything, it only increased the determination of the crew to destroy the remaining enemy forces. The crews pressed the weapon systems of the Star Destroyers to the max, the weapons spewing out their deadly contents as fast as they could. As the blockade pressed against the enemy fleet, the two Lancer-class frigates Gahl had requested finally arrived, though a little too late. Despite that, the frigates took up defensive positions and fired their 20 quad laser turrets against any stray rebel fighter. Either with the retreat of the enemy fleet or its destruction, the Empire had succeeded in keeping its presence in the Kashyyyk system.

(Its probably lost in the ever expanding pages of P2TM. May it rest in peace.)

Tython

"Thank you Master Dylan. We hope we can aid the Jedi Order in its rebuilding. Our minds are at peace now that we now know their are others survivors of Oder 66. If there is anything we can do to help please don't hesitate to ask."
Master Vos watched as the young wookiees were looking down at the training ground.
"May I ask where we should drop of the younglings for their training?"

OOC: Since no one has posted in two days can I do a time skip to say everyone is back at Tython.

IC:

TWO DAYS LATER

Kite stretched once more to get the last of the battle aches out. He had been getting cricks and the like a lot ever since the Kashyyk Battle. But now he was back at Tython and was preparing to put his plan to steal a Star Destroyer into action. It involved a stolen Imperial Frigate his men managed to hijack some time ago within the last two months. In any case, the Frigate would begin sending out a Code 4 Emergency Signal. A Code 4 being a new code requesting a Star Destroyer in the area. The reason given would be a large Rebel Ship attacking the Frigate. The Imperials would arrive to find a battered and burning Frigate and since they would surely board the ship. They would be ambushed by Kite's ARC Troopers while Kites Warships came out right on top of them. They needed to do very minimal damage to the Destroyer so it could still be operational when they seized it. So Clones and Walkers would be delivered to the hull of the Destroyer via Gunships and Carriers.
However he had something to give to Master Dy'lan and another for Master Vos so he donned the cream colored Jedi Tunic and walked out of his Quarters in the Temple. Petro bowed on the way to his Quarters. He then stopped and turned to Kite. "Master Tenjo I have something to ask of you." Kite stopped and turned to Petro. "Yes Petro what is it?" Petro shifted his feet a little before asking. "Once I am no longer a youngling, will you take me on to complete my training." Kite smiled and nodded. He sensed great potential and a great future ahead of this one.
He proceeded to the nearest Temple Droid and handed it two packages. The one for Master Dy'lan was an Ancient Holocron he'd found on Kashyyk. The one for Master Vos was something Kite had had for a while. Quilan Vos was very close to his Padawan Aayla Secura who later became one of the members of the Jedi Council. Kite had enclosed inside Master Vos's package, both of Aayla's Lightsabers.

Master Dy'lan awoke to receive a package from a droid. He looked upon the package and was very curious. It was unusual, at the least, to get a package on this beautiful, but uninhabited rock. He seen it was from Kite, and smiled as he knew it must be of importance. He opened it, and starred in shock. It was a Jedi Holocron! How rare to see a new one, one not in Imperial hands or the rubble inside the temple! He picked it up and sensed the force vibrating from it. This was a very old holocron, and was very powerful. Surely it held some great things. He immediately contacted the guards.

"I want an escort. This must reach the vault without any harm. I dont mean to make a show, but if something goes wrong, i want this particular item safe."

He never mentioned what it was, as he didnt know if somehow and Imperial probe droid might have followed this allies.

30 guards arrived and escorted Master Dy'lan down the halls. 3 Padawans assisted the escort. They passed through an area full of padawans, and Master Dy'lan sensed he saw Kite in the room. The gaurds had their guns straight up and down, making a speedy escort. Still in the view of the padawans, and Kite, a airlocked door opened, revealing a ray shield. master Dy'lan used the force and shut down the ray shield. The Padawans saw a room with a few holocrons in it, locked in individual holders. They witnessed as Master Dy'lan placed the new one in a separate holder, as the blue glow showed through the thick glass. He then turned, and quickly left the room locking it down. The guards dispersed and Master Dy'lan was met with an inquiry of questions as the padawns bursted around him, begging to know what was in the room.
"What was that room for?"
"Why were the guards here?"
"What was glowing in your hands?"
"Why cant I go in the room?"

Master Dy'lan was nearly overwhelmed answering literally dozens of questions. he shouldve had the room cleared...

"This room holds Jedi Holocrons and is very important. The glowing object I held was a very important and ancient holocron. We cant risk its knowledge falling into the wrong hands, and it must be protected. Maybe, in many years when some of you sit on the council, then you can see whats in that room." He smiled as the Padawans looked up, hopeful at the words. Many wanted to be on the council, but they knew what it took. they almost idolized the stories of Master Deno, Cosmos, and Krass. They knew of a woman on the council who was not a master, but they knew it was very rare. They looked back at Kite who was also on the council, fearing they would never be as great as these Jedi.

Master Deno sensed this and addressed them.

"Now, do not doubt your skills, and your power in the force, Each and everyone of you have the potential to become better than any master on the council, and each of you have the ability to serve the life forms of this Galaxy. I must say, in your quest to do great things, never loose sight of your purpose, never loose the Jedi code. its ok to want great things and great skills, but sometimes the best jedi is one who follows the code exactly, even if it means giving up some opportunities." The jedi noded, and dispersed back to their force training.

(OOC: My bad guys, my mission to Felucia was some time ago so I forgot that Shaak Tii and Maris Brood were onboard the Cosmic as well. Do you all mind if I bring them into the story again all settled into the Temple?)

Tython
Master Cosmos has decided to stay for a week or so to give himself and his crew some rest and relaxation time. After having a light meal he set out to look for Master Vos. He crossed through the Training area and observed the younglings and Padawans. Master Cosmos was pleased that they were working hard and seemed to be learning quickly from their mistakes. Eventually he found Vos within his room.
"Come in Master Cosmos, what can I assist you with?"
"Nothing at the moment, I was wondering how you've been settling in?"
"My family and I are still getting used to living here being on Kashyyyk for so long but were steadily getting used to it."
At that moment the Temple droid came through the door and handed a package to Vos. He opened it and was speechless. Cosmos wasn't able to see what was in the package from his angle.
"What is it Master Vos?"
"The lightsabers of my former Padawan Aayla Secura. She didn't survive order 66. Tell Jedi Kite thank you, this is an amazing gift."
Vos then walked up to a display case near the entrance of the room. He placed both lightsabers within it.
"I'll put these here until they once again need to be used."
"I was in the Felucia system when Order 66 was ordered, "Master Cosmos said," I felt here death through the force. I wish I could of saved her. She will be missed by many."
"Me included."

Master Dy'lan was walking down a corridor looking at a holgram of a Flesh Raider. Since the victory, a Padawan went missing and security cams caugth a Flesh Raidder covered in war paint sneaking away with him. How he got in the temple was a mistery still. He needed to stop this and save that Padawan.. He walked past the room of the newcomer, Master Vos. He entered the room and seen Master Cosmos.

"Master Cosmos! How great to see you again. I see you're visiting our honored friends." He looked at them.
"I am happy to have you here." He looked back at Master Cosmos.
"I have an urgent matter to discuss. We have a missing padawan. He was kidnapped by a Flesh Raider. Somehow he entered the temple. We need to rescue that Padawan and block this tunnel. We can't let this happen again. We have a lot of Younglings here who are at risk, to small to defend themselves."

His face was grim and serious. He was worried of how this Flesh Raider managed to get into the temple.

He pulled out his comm link and made contact with Admiral Gates who was in his quarters within the temple.

"We need the gaurds to get all the Padawans inside no. Get them all into the assembly hall. We have an emergency. Block off all the entrances."

"Yes sir."

He looked back at Master Cosmos, giving him time to think..

It didn't take Master Cosmos that much time to decide.
"I'll help any way I can Master Dy'lan."
"And I as well," Master Vos added," The more Jedi working on this rescue the faster we'll be able to find this Padawan."
Cosmos began to speak," Do you know of any tunnels or passageways that are running through the Temple? Perhaps the Flesh Raiders have dug tunnels throughout the Temple grounds before we came to Tython."

OOC: Hey guys. Sorry for not posting in the past few days and helping the thread along, but I've had a lot going on IRL, so I had little to no time. With the weekend upon us, I have a lot more free time, so I will post either tonight or tomorrow.
