TIE fighters were diverted away to deal with the fighters and bombers that had been pestering the Imperial forces for some time now. TIE bombers and the Star Destroyer Avenger continued to pummel the stealth ship. Gahl would have had his Star Destroyer lock onto Kite's Delta-7 with its tractor beam, but his current ship was the one that lost its tractor beam. And even if the stealth ship managed to get past the blockade, there were still Star Destroyers and plenty of TIE fighters on the planet to finish the job.
"Give the Star Destroyers below warning of what is coming their way and have them set their scanners to detect a ship's magnetic signature," Gahl called to Comms. The bridge shook as it took another hit from somewhere. "And contact the nearest system for some anti-fighter support and tell them to have it here within the next few hours! I am tired of these gnats damaging our ships!"

Kite knew they needed to divert more attention away from the Stealth Ship but also knew it was lost. Kite broke off with Red Squadron in tow. "Red Squadron follow me, we're gonna give our boys an escort." The twenty-five Starfighters darted towards the planet below intending to escort the Gunships off planet.

Gahl was glad to see the fighters leave the blockade. He counted only twenty-five left and with the number of forces the Empire had on Kashyyyk at the moment, there was little to no chance that the rebels were going to get off the planet alive.
"Shall I call for the fighters to move to intercept," the captain of the Star Destroyer asked. Gahl shook his head.
"No," he replied. "We'll let our boys on the ground handle them. We only need to prevent them from escaping."

Kite had a clever way of monitoring the Imperials now even if it meant endangering his own life. He had to do something to somehow sneak aboard their ships without them knowing. So he intended to purposefully crash his Starfighter. He attached a Droid Popper to his control panel and it went off frying the systems. He then opened his Comlink on an open frequency intending for the Imperial's to hear. "This is Jedi General Kite Tenjo to Orbital Fleet, my power generator has gone offline! I've lost all control over my Starfighter! I'm going down!" In all reality Kite was falling through the sky towards a giant tree next to the fleeing Gunships carrying Master Cosmos.
Just before impact Kite leapt out of the Starfighter and clung to a large branch before climbing into a large amount of leaves. The Starfighter exploded against the tree.

Master Deno watched the events unfold in dismay. It appeared this admiral knew his history.

Admiral gates was in shock as well. Master Deno received a transmission from Kite, but knew he was not dead. He could sense his presence in the force, still alive below.

The stealth ship was grateful for the escort, and would repay them later. The ship flew passed in stealth mode, lowering its altitude to just below the tree line. A star destroyer below would surely be distracted by the fighters, as the stealth ship flew around out of the Star Destroyers range. The ship hovered quietly in the sky, and contacted master Cosmos to quickly land below in the forest so that the Jedi and his men could be loaded. Once loaded, the Imperials would have many defenses set to stop the ship. The ship planned to fly to the other side of kashyyyk. From there, it would make the long, wide trip around the fleet, and after an hour, it would be in jump position. All that the plan depended on was the timing of Master Cosmos. The ship sent its location to him so he could arrive as soon as possible.

"Pilot! Head to these coordinates immediately ."
After handing over the coordinates he contacted Kite as he knew he was still alive.
Hurry to the stealth ship. We need to get out of here as soon as possible.

Just before impact Kite leapt out of the Starfighter and clung to a large branch before climbing into a large amount of leaves. The Starfighter exploded against the tree.

The comms officer had the message played on the bridge's audio system. He hoped to see the admiral pleased at the fortunate turn of events, but the admiral seemed to frown at the news, as if something weren't right.
"Sir," the comms officer started, but Admiral Gahl cut him off.
"Send search parties to the crash sight and have them search the surrounding area," Gahl ordered. The comms officer hesitated a moment, provoking the admiral to add, "One can never be too sure, sergeant."
"Yes, sir," the officer replied and sent the order.
As the orders were being carried out, Gahl couldn't help but feel that he was falling into some sort of trap laid out by the Jedi. The "death" of one of the Jedi (he knew there were others) was merely a diversion for the stealth ship to slip by unnoticed by Imperial forces on the ground. The whole purpose for a stealth ship to be a part of the enemy fleet would be for an evacuation effort of some sort. While all of this added up, and Gahl was just playing the Jedi's game to lull them into a false sense of security, he still couldn't help but feel that he was the one that was about to be outwitted.
Down below, TIE fighters dealt with what remained of the twenty-five fighters that went with Master Kite. They were helped even more so by ground artillery and AT-AA units, leaving the Imperial Star Destroyers in the area free to scan the area for any strange magnetic signatures. On the ground, stormtroopers and AT-STs began their search through the forests, though some search parties came under fire from Wookies that hadn't lost their fighting spirit yet. LAAT/is hovered close to the canopy of the forest and began to use their own scanners, however limited they were. If a Jedi took one wrong step, the Empire was going to be right on top of them.

In orbit the fleet made its final jump preparations and was ready for the jump. It wouldnt jump until the stealth ship had exited the atmosohere around the otherside of the planet and jumped as well. The ship only waited on Master Cosmos...

On Tython, the Flesh Raider camp far off from the temple was planned to be destroyed in the name of the safety of dozens of jedi. The team of 100 troops and 5 jedi Padawans along with Master Dy'lan embarked in gunships. The Flesh Raiders would be forces completly out of the region.

The Search Parties found the mangled burning remains of Kite's Starfighter and of his now destroyed Astromech but Kite's body appeared to be missing. Not strange since the area was crawling with predatory beasts. However Kite put his own plan into action when two Stormtroopers passed by his hiding place. He followed them until they were far away enough from the Gunships. When they were Kite darted out from his hiding place and used his leg to sythe the legs of the Stormtroopers out from under them. He acted quickly and flipped the first one as he attempted to get up and then he realized the second one was up and preparing to shoot. Kite spun around and used the Force to pull the blaster into his hand and then used the butt to hit the Stormtrooper in the face. Before he could react, and Kite had some regrets about this, he was Force pushed over a cliff and fell into a ravine disappearing from sight as he fell far down.
"Don't move Jedi or your dead." Kite knew he was covered by the first Trooper but he just ducked and then kicked the trooper in the face with both feet. Then he leapt up, seized the man in a headlock and twisted his neck, killing him. Kite dropped him and then after checking his pulse to find he was truly dead, he began to don the Stormtrooper armor and helmet. When it was complete, Kite rolled the dead man into the ravine after his now dead comrade. He picked up the fallen blaster and then activated the Comlink in the helmet.
"This is Unit 12, one of our men was lost. He stepped on an unstable ledge and fell into a ravine. No sign of the Jedi. Must have been carried off by a creature of some sort. Heading back now." Kite began to walk to the Gunships.

Suddenly a communication came through for Master Dy'lan on his comlink. It was Captain Fordo on Kashyyk. The hologram came up showing the wounded Captain with his left arm draped over the shoulder of another clone and his right arm holding a crutch. "General Dy'lan, in case you forgot in the excitement of the Flesh Raiders, I'm Captain Fordo, in charge of the ARC Team General Tenjo sent to Kashyyk to extract General Cosmos. We had orders to contact you when the extraction was underway. But that's not all. It is with heavy heart that I report the death of General Tenjo. His Starfighter's Power Generator malfunctioned and he crashed. It appears that the new Jedi Council is now short a member."

Master Dy'lan thought for a moment. He didn't want to question this man, as he knew he wouldn't lie to him. But, strangely enough, he sensed he was still alive. He would slowly unveil that he sensed he wasn't dead.

"My friend, I'm afraid you may have been tricked, but the trick may be necessary. I sense that Master Kite is not dead. I sense he lives still. Perhaps his mission is more important than we know. We should not search for him. I sense that he has everything under control. We dont want to raise any alarms of his survival. Now, are you headed to the stealth ship? Its the last convoy off the planet?"

Meanwhile, he had to temporarily stall the communication as the men landed and attacked the flesh raiders from two flanks. Master Dy'lan sliced down 4 immediately, but 2 more trained ones came from both sides. He spun up into the air, and back down spinning in a circle. As he did, the heads fell to the ground. he then proceeded forward and cut through a dozen more. His men were shooting them down as they had the element of surprise. These beasts were not just natives, they didn't like the Jedi. He could see this. Eventually, after about 10 minutes, Master Kite was face to face with the leader of the Flesh Raiders. After a fearsome display of strength, the large beast charged Dy'lan, surprisingly armed with a older light saber, probably centuries old. The battle took place, and the oponent was skilled. He swung down on Master Dy'lan, but the attack was thwarted as Dy'lan leaped to the side, He swung around to slice Dy'lan in half, but didnt reach out as far as needed. Dy'lan leaped forward, engaging in a close up duel. He swung his sword all different directions in the fray, but he was countered strike for strike. He used the force, pushing the beast up against a wall. He took advantage of this, and leaped forward. The Flesh Raider pulled a blaster and shot Master Dy'lan in the arm, but failed to kill him. He walked over, and kneeled on Dy'lans chest, his light saber 3 yards from his hands. He punched Dy'lan in the face twice with all his might, before pulling his light saber. He lifted it up and went to jab it dwon but Dy'lan used the force and pushed the beast off next to him. He forced his light saber to him and quickly jumped up, coming down on the Flesh Raider and stabbing it in the heart. It coughed and knarled, before taking its last breath. Dy'lan stood bloody and bruished as he cut down two more Flesh Raiders. His men were met with a suprise as the Flesh raiders retreated seeing their leaders death. The battle had been won. 1 Padawan was lost, and nearly 35 men. Fortunatly, the temple was safe. Dy'lan reopened the communication with the trooper.

OOC: Hold up there, my friend. I still have a couple of cards up my sleeve.
IC: The Imperial search teams received Kite's message and thought little of it.
"Unit 12, this is Squad 47. Hold your position. We're on our way to investigate." The Imperial squad proceeded towards Unit 12's last know position, followed by an AT-ST walker. The squad arrived at the site and found one trooper dead and bare of his armor and another trooper in critical condition, but alive. As the troopers were collected, the squad leader sent out a warning to all Imperial units in the vicinity.
"This is the leader of Squad 47 to all Imperial forces in the area. Be advised: one of our troopers was attacked and stripped of his armor, indicating that someone may be impersonating one of our own. Searches and questioning may need to be enforced until this fugitive is caught."
The message was received by the search teams in the area, who began to comply with the trooper's suggestion. A squad of stormtroopers came across a lone stormtrooper that seemed odd to them.
"Halt," a stormtrooper ordered. The squad stopped and had their weapons at the ready. "Trooper, what is your identification number?"

Kite snapped to attention to make his sharade more believable. He also reminded himself that Imperial Soldiers did not use CT anymore for Clone Trooper but ST for Storm Trooper. He spoke loud and clear. "ST-87162 Sir! Looking for the Jedi, as ordered Sir!" It was a hard thing for Kite to call someone who would shoot him on sight Sir but he did it all the same.

Before the Storm Trooper could respond, two members of Red Squadron in Z-95's swooped down and peppered the ground with laser fire, striking three Storm Troopers and then darting skyward followed by three TIE Fighters.

Kite's full plan wasn't entirely worked out yet but he knew that he needed to upgrade his fleet a bit. So he was plotting somehow, someway to steal an Imperial Star Destroyer and integrate it into the Jedi Fleet. What better way than as a crewmember of said Star Destroyer.

Kite wouldn't have the chance. The Imperial Star Destroyers on the planet were on their way to orbit Kashyyyk and provide added security to weak sections of the blockade, particularly locations around Kashyyyk that did not have a Star Destroyer. No shuttles or gunships made their way to the Star Destroyers as there was no need for it; the ships would be in orbit for a while. The Star Destroyers' retreat was covered by the large number of TIE fighters on the planet and the AT-AAs on the ground.
Once in position, the Imperial Star Destroyers continued to scan for any odd magnetic signatures in case the stealth ship tried to slip out the opposite side of the planet. Any extra TIE fighters the Star Destroyers had were used for screening out any unwanted guests. Gahl continued to monitor the progress of the fleet with updates from the comms officer every five minutes. Things seemed good so far, though Gahl was prepared should anything go wrong.

Kite acted fast as he threw off the helmet and pulled out his Lightsaber and began to slice through the Storm Troopers until they all dropped dead. He then snuck around behind the Gunships and leapt on top of one as another fired its missiles at him while he leapt onto it. Thus destroying the other Gunship in the process and he repeated the cycle again. When he jumped onto the third Gunship, he swung down inside and headed into the cockpit where he killed the Pilots. He then began to move the Gunship out towards space.

The stealth ship continued to wait for a solution. Master Cosmos would soon arrive. When he did, the ships captain hoped to have a solution. It wasn't impossible to mask a magnetic signature. All he needed to do was develope a system where he could hide the signal, emit a certain frequuency or something..he would have to think quick. When the jedi Master arrived there would be no time to sit and wait. If they were followed, the ship would need to leave quickly. As soon as it was clear of the atmosphere it could jump to light speed, but the problem was getting there. The ship's only hope was to mask its frequency...

Master Deno looked out at the Imperial blockade looking for a flaw. The fleet was well deployed, but a second hyperspace strike from a wired ship, like even the damaged frigate loaded with thousands of explosive arnaments, would open up a gap. It might be able to destroy the flagship, and ships close enough to it may be put out of commission. He would contact the ship and have it wired to manually jump to the co-ordinates. Soon, 1 more damaged, and old, frigate would be the end of at least 2 Star destroyers, if not three. He would wait until contact was made with the stealth ship. It would need to be timed perfectly...

"Sir," an officer called. "We have a gunship inbound towards the rear of the blockade."
The captain looked at the officer with a frown. "What is it doing up here," he demanded. "We're not expecting any of our forces to return yet."
"Indeed, sir," the comms officer chimed in. "We're not expecting any of our ground forces to return for at least another 124 standard hours."
"Has it given a reason for this unscheduled arrival," the captain asked. The comms officer shook his head.
"Negative," the officer replied. "And the other Star Destroyers in this portion of the blockade are coming to the same conclusion: this gunship is making an unscheduled landing attempt."
The captain nodded. "Then order the fighters to intercept," he demanded. "This must be a rebel attack. Have our batteries stand-by until that thing gets too close. And keep inside the gravity well of the planet; we don't need to have any of our ships destroyed by some rebel suicide ship."
The TIE fighters protecting the Star Destroyers went to intercept the lone gunship. It would be too easy, given the LAAT's lack of maneuverability and sluggishness. The TIE fighters kept away from the front guns of the gunship and proceeded to hit the gunship from the rear and from below.

The comm officer frowned at that. "One moment," he told the gunship. The officer relayed the message. Gahl was about to order the ship aboard when his mind reminded him that this gunship could be trying to trick its way aboard.
"Scan that ship for life-signs," Gahl demanded. It was done within a few moments.
"There is only one lifeform aboard the ship, sir," an officer called.
Gahl's suspicions were confirmed. It was a trap. "Tell those fighters to neutralize that gunship," he ordered. "Don't let it get close!" He turned to the comms officer.
"What is the status of the anti-fighter support I requested," he demanded.
"We have two Lancer-class frigates on their way, sir," the officer replied. "They'll be here within the next three standard hours."
Gahl sighed. He wished for them to be here sooner, but he couldn't bend space and time in order for that to happen.
"Very well," he said. "Just get rid of that gunship!"

Kite knew that he was in for it now. Then a miracle. Red Squadron swept past the stolen Gunship its numbers reduced to 19 but still outmatching the TIE Pilots in skill. For those six brave Red Squadron Pilots dead, each had taken down at least 10 Imperials with him. The Fighters in Red Squadron unloaded every single remaining Torpedo in their arsenal and Kite unloaded all thirty-four Torpedo's on the Gunship with them. There were probably at least 150 Torpedo's in all heading straight at the force of TIE's coming at them. Meanwhile Red Squadron formed up in escort positions around the Gunship.

(I wish I could be doing something besides sitting in the gunship. :( )

Space above Tython
While events were happening on Kashyyyk the Jedi Quinlan Vos has finally arrived in the Tython System on Master Cosmos's ship.
Quinlan Vos looked out of the bridge towards the planet. He never thought he would see Tython. Like many other Jedi it was assumed lost in space and history. After a few minutes the rest of his family came unto the bridge of the ship.
"Looks like this will be our home for the foreseeable future, "Tholme said.
"Where are we?" Khaleen Hentz asked.
"Tython, ancient home of the Jedi. Have you contacted the surface yet?" Vos asked the communications officer.
"Not yet sir." He replied.

"This is The Cosmic, come in. We are in returning from Kashyyyk carrying three Jedi and three younglings. I repeat, this is The Cosmic carrying three Jedi and three younglings. Please Respond."

Master Dy'lan had returned after defeating the Flesh Raiders at their main camp. He was sitting aside as the transmission came in from a ship named the Cosmic. He ordered a communications officer over to speak with them. the officer activated a comm and allowed Master Dy'lan himself to speak.

"Attention Cosmic, this is Master Dy'lan, head of the Jedi Council on Tython. We will have to scan your vessel for life forms before allowing you to land. You will be designated a landing pad in the temple court yard."

A scan was quickly done, and the results showed the ship was being honest.

"You are clear to land. 2 Arquitans will escort you to the temple."

Two Arquitan cruisers formed up in front of the ship, 1 on either side. They signaled for the ship to follow them as it was guided to the designated are.

OOC: Partially my fault. He's on route to it aboard Gunships from my fleet. Sorry Exucular. Why not just say the Gunships arrived above the Stealth Ship and you all enter through cables since I don't think Gunships will fit on the Stealth Ship.

IC: The TIE fighters did take some losses, though their decreased mass gave them some speed advantage. Some of the TIE fighters managed to dodge the torpedoes, which continued to pursue their targets. The TIE pilots being pursued by those torpedoes got the idea to fly straight towards the enemy fighters, laser cannons ablaze to keep the enemy pilots' attention focused on them. When the pilots felt that they were close enough, they zipped past the enemy fighters and let their tailing torpedoes slam right into the enemy fighters. It worked, though some TIE fighters were destroyed during their dash towards the enemy fighter squadron.
From then on, the TIE fighters agility, speed, and numbers came into play. Out of the 2,100 TIE fighters originally protecting the blockade, nearly 1,800 were still left to deal with the pests. Wherever the pilots of Red Squadron looked, there were at least 20 TIE fighters dogging them. The fighters began to light up their targets, hitting them with their twin laser cannons and zipping past them before the pilots could react.
Some of the TIE fighters that attacked Red Squadron were prototypes that were armed with proton torpedo launchers. Those TIE fighters were used to hit the gunship. The TIE fighters launched their proton torpedoes at the enemy gunship and turned away, heading back to their carrier ships.
Finally, some of the anti-fighter defenses of Gahl's Star Destroyer aided the TIE fighters and fired at the enemy fighters that got too close. For added security, Gahl had all enlisted personnel aboard his ship to be on standby to repel boarders. He was not going to lose this ship, not to rebels or a Jedi that just wouldn't quit.

(Sounds good. I didn't want to take command of your gunships since I thought you were going to do something involving Kite.)

Kashyyyk
The gunships finally arrive at the location of the Stealth ship. Master Cosmos ordered everyone onboard immediately. As the clones were quickly boarding he thought about what to do with the now vacant gunships. Perhaps they could use them to provide a distraction for their escape. All he needed to find were some droids that could pilot them. After everyone was aboard he walked up to Captain Fordo.
"I think we can use the gunships as a distraction for the TIE fighters. Can you find out if there are any pilot droids onboard? I'll have Master Paratus replace them later."
He walked away to check on the other clones but stopped and turned around.
"And see if there are any spare explosives as well."
Tython

The Cosmic came followed the Arquitan ships down to the planet. After landing on the temple courtyard the Jedi and younglings departed the ship. It was their first real look of the Temple. The younglings were in awe of the building. It reminded the Jedi of the Temple on Kashyyyk. The differences being it was an ancient structure and there was no city scenery or ships flying past. Master Vos took his son from Khaleen and showed him the Temple.
"Looks like were raising you here."
An officer came out of The Cosmic and told them to wait for someone from the Temple to meet them.

OOC: To be fair you kinda meta game a bit by being able to counter every single thing I do no matter what. Those two storm troopers Kite attacked were rolled into a ravine they weren't still at the site of the attack.

Kite heard a loud crash as he checked the instruments and found that the Gunship had lost its Torpedo Launchers and Wing Cannons along with some damage to the Starboard Engine. He flipped the comm. system on and activated a secure channel to his fleet. "Attention all Ships! Deploy every last Fighter, Bomber, or Gunship we have! I don't care what class just deploy it! Commence firing on the Imperial Fleet!" And so they did.
Thousands of Fighters, Bombers, and Gunships streamed out from Kite's fleet and towards the Imperial Fleet. Delta-7's, Eta-2's, V-19's, ARC-170's, V-Wings, Z-95's, LAAT's, Attack Shuttles, Y-Wings, the whole lot of them. This would be an advantage the Imperial's could not conquer, because they would not be able to counter so many different types of attack ships at once. The remaining 11 Venators, 10 Arquitens, and 7 Acclamators of Kite's fleet began to open fire on the Imperial Blockade once more.

Captain Fordo had three pilot droids put in place and every clone emptied his belt of all explosives. Thermal Detonators, Droid Poppers, Micro Charges, and EMP Grenades.
