What is it? City? Province? State?: Otherworldly dimension, which has been slowly breaking through the barrier of space-time. Soon, in one million years, it will devour the entire world.
Language(s) spoken: A strange and demented gargle that vaguely resembles English.
Population: Unknown; the exact number of sentient persons and/or species living in Upstate New York is unknown.
Description: Part of another, seemingly Eldritch dimension that has appeared in an area originally linking New York City and Long Island directly to the border of present-day Canada. Somehow this land is growing ever-so-slowly, to encompass all of the world in its strange and hellish design.
Demographics: While residents of English ancestry have a strong presence, The Hudson Valley, the Capital District and the Syracuse region are heavily Irish American. The North Country is heavily French Canadian. Italian Americans are the largest ethnic group in Oneida County, Broome County, and Schenectady, while German ancestry is most common across western New York.
