Given the relative isolation of my species, I can see great things happening between our two races. More collaboration will probably be necessary in the future (although I do give you broad license to RP various minor interactions if you want to refer to them as background info or something).

Living Area: Giga Reptantis lives in the humid jungle, near the heart of it. They are extremely nomadic, never staying in one place for more than two nights so they do not lose their prey. Basic Biological History: The giga Reptantis live in the darkest parts of the jungle, the self imposed apex of their territory. They naturally hunt anything that moves, and will have no disobedience. They evolved from a rather large species of predatory raptor, called mortiferum alatum interfeminium pudibundos Reptantis, which still lives in very small packs to this day. They in turn evolved into giga repti, a smaller form of Giga reptantis. They are generally used as bait if any survivors are found. Their society is actually heavily religious, in which they make primitive worship to the sun, or as they see it, the "giant ball of sky power">

K, so here'show I think things will go for the Oni during the civilization stage:

For the bronze and iron age the Oni will be powerful infantry and attackers. While lacking the bow, the Oni make up with heavy sling ammo and hand mangonels. Cavalry will also be awesome, what with behemoths, dreadnoughts, and drakes at the fore.

The Classical and middle ages will be much the, but now with siege weapons like the catapult and trebuchet(and mangonel) in the equation. The navy, due to the Oni's bulk, is slightly less effective, but the Oni would finally make a bow to match their strength, if the crossbow wasn't enough.

The pre-modern age has a little difference: dakka. Yes, now the Oni have guns, only their standard firearm would have larger ammo than anyone else. Gunpowder artillery's also more impressive, with larger bores and bigger volley guns, not to mention grenades being larger.

Then there's the industrial age. MOAR DAKKA. Now there's machine guns(single-crew for the Oni), sub-machine guns(two-barreled), repeating rifles(AKA 30mm cannons ), and shotguns(AKA portable grapeshot, maybe in the 4-gauge. G-Tech, your opinion please?).

Finally there's the modern era. Tanks are a no, you'd need a whole new class of APC to hold the Oni(Decrowning them as the kings of heavy infantry), and naval prowess is still out of the question. However, they'd be the kings of cavalry and light infantry still, and I'd like to see you in CC with an Oni. Less valuable as mainline troops, more valuable as auxiliaries.

Firstly, hand mangonels? Mangonels that I'm aware of are fairly large siege devices, and aren't man portable even for Oni-scale beings.

In the pre-modern age, I'd just note that making larger guns etc means you'll be necessarily making less guns unless you happen to be on top of a saltpeter deposit.

Machine-guns beings single crew I'm also not sure of- carrying one might be feasible, but the firing-and-feeding simultaneously seems difficult to work while maintaining any type of consistent field of fire, not to mention the issue of overheating etc.

Also, yes, you should coordinate with Vaxon.

Actually it's more like a stick with a handle and a basket rather than the full-sized package. Much weaker, but portable.

1. As I said in the TG, that is species-mentality, something that is impossible with this level of communication. Why would the other packs come and assist? You said in your app they're territorial.
