Yeah. But then again, if I am pulled in to conflict, I'll just try to defend rather than attack the others. A mountain's much more defendable than a plain or forest

To be fair, the Ancients would only eat a few. And coastal sailing would be mostly safe, which is about what you'll be doing for the next several thousand years at most.

Plus, my species is not only going to be an isolationist species (Hence why I'm in a mountain region), but it will be incredibly hostile to those in the outside world. As I said before, my territory is gonna be like that creepy haunted house at the top of the hill that no one wants to go near because it's dangerous...

1) No need to worry too much about agriculture. As long as I can produce large quantities of animals, I'm okay. In fact, I can probably just build farms inside of the mountains. Which then leads to my second idea...

2) I'd hollow out mountains to increase population size. Once there isn't much space left in the mountain, I'll probably spread to the least-threatening location I can find near the mountains.

What? Do you have any idea how long that would take, as well as how likely it is that it would collapse on you?

Species Name: Toxis Tyrannus
Diet: Carnivore.
Population: 400,000.
Body Type: Mammalian - They look awfully similar to humans, but they are not. They are about average human height and weight, measuring around 4-6 feet tall and weighing around 200 lbs. The Toxis Tyrannus is bipedal and has a very toxic venomous spit that, if they bite anything, will infect said creature. They are humans, but tend to have a thicker skin and they tend to stick to forests. Toxis Tyrannus is very dangerous, considering one bite will paralyze/possibly kill anything of similar size or smaller within a few hours. Toxis Tyrannus loves places where they can hide from their prey, and so they stick to forests/tropical areas.
Living Area: If there's forests and lots of them, you'll find Toxis Tyrannus. Toxis Tyrannus is very protective of it's territory, tending to attempt to kill anything that wanders too deep into the territory. They have a pack-like mind, however, even though they are humanoid, and so, the Alpha usually is in charge of each individual "pack" in a community.
Basic Biological History: Toxis Tyrannus are very strict of having a no-outsider policy. They eat anything they think isn't them, and so since they're humanoid, they will eat other humanoids. This makes them appear to be very cannibalistic, as when you dry them out and they have no acid spit, they tend to look very, very human indeed. However, Toxis Tyrannus are humanoids, due to their poison saliva capable of killing/disabilitating anything of similar size within hours, and because of the fact they don't appear to have as much sentience as other humanoid species.
