News of this new land reached the Administration, and it got them very excited. It was also revealed that this was not Asia- it was a completely different continent that the Europeans had not discovered. With the permission of Overlord Trident, the Administration began making offers to the Bakarus citizens and companies alike- they could begin their own colonies in the new world, so as long as they remained loyal to the Empire. The leaders of these colonies would be called Colonial Administrators, and they would also be in charge of leading groups to map and explore the landscape before a colony was set up. If they were to encounter violence with any native peoples, they were to use necessary force to crush the natives. The Bakarus government would also get 50% of any riches they discovered in the New World.

Within a few years of the discovery of New York, several Colonial Administrators and their parties would set out from Bakarus into the unknown. They sailed up and down the eastern coastline of the Americas, mapping the coastline as precisely as they could. Meanwhile, 3 parties that had decided to tag together entered the Gulf of Mexico.

As the ships began to arrive, the patrol watching the Gulf stopped them. The captain of one of these ships, the admiral being in the center of the group to prevent being killed instantly, observed the personnel on board as they advanced. Making sure the party did not escape, they sent forth one of their fastest ships to learn these peoples intentions. When the ship got close enough to communicate, they saw it was a much lighter skinned people. One of the patrolmen called out in the Raktolian tongue. (yeah....you won't understand it, but you should get the basic idea of "come here")

A Bakarus military officer would see the ships coming close to the parties.

"It's a patrol!" he shouted to the crew. "I think they want to speak with us."

They would get closer to the foreign ship so that they could board it.

"Maybe this is Asia after all," another officer remarked.

Gyrium
The army of 100,000 men of Marshals Inocencio and Viceral, and the Japanese mercenary general Ichisaki remained calm and happy as they assault the walls of Gyrium, claiming the victory very near. Archers and long range missile units fired their lots of arrows and bolts over the city defenders while the artillery attempts to smash down the enemy walls. The attacks were repeated until all of the western side of the walls of Gyrium had fallen in their very eyes, laying open for attack. The trebuchets and mangonels hurled steel balls over the stone walls, cannons and bombards rung their thundering shots from the front line, guarded by pike-and-shot formed soldiers. The rest of the army stood watching as the fall of their enemy city closes in.

The Asian Merchants' Company
As the economic organisation of the Far India Company grew larger than her regional counterparts in the Spanish Market Guild, the main headquarters planned an expedition, with the help of the Kagakura Shogunate, to conduct an exploration and establishment of several ports and quarters for the expansion of the Spanish market in Asia. This reform has laid a new name, calling now the company "Asian Merchants' Company", since there was an influx of independent merchants from all over Asia wanting to sell their goods from their own harvests and share it with the Spanish economy, which was widely accepted in Spain's case. As merchant members in Asia increased dramatically, so as the company adjusted greatly and became the A.M.C.

The people gazed in horror as rocks and arrows fell from the sky, almost as if Erhman himself began to exterminate the Ostyr. One by one, civilians and soldiers began to fall from this ranged attack by their foe as buildings were being vandalized by the enemy fire. Windows, smashed. Roofs from ancient times collapsing, and even old watchtowers that have stood for over a millennia begin to fall. People prayed for an end to the conflict, for something to happen to save Ostyrlonia, but alas, it would not come fast enough to save them. The southern wall also began to collapse and this time, soldiers didn't rush there. They were preoccupied by other attacks.

Gyrium
Ichisaki ordered his dispatch of 2,000 Mongolian cavalry to conduct a preliminary assault and ravage the western side of the city by throwing torches and start fires at the west side of Gyrium. As the horses rushed into the undefended and fallen city walls, the Mongolian dispatch attacked the Ostyr citizens whom they see and began torching down the buildings. The missile units from afar started using flaming arrows to ease the city's fall. Inocencio's army of 30,000 men started marching to the city for the final blow, while Viceral awaits for another wave of mercenary reinforcements recruited from Rylonia and parts of Iberia. As these went on, the artillery and foot missile units still deliver their deadly salvos of attacks and lavishly aim to burn the city to the ground.

As Inocencio reaches the city gates, he dreams a glimpse of hell from his naked eyes as he enters Gyrium -- soldiers raping women, scattered, squashed and bloodied heads of the Ostyrs, children with slit throats and bathed in blood, people hanged and impaled with spears everywhere, burning houses and bodies, teared flags of Ostyrlonia burning in mid-air, smoke and fog of destruction cause by wildfires and hot rubble from the flaming munitions of his artillery -- all of these bloody things he predicts to happen, for none had came to rescue the dreaded city.

The Fall of Ostyrlonia | Part Two
Remember Gyrium!

Gyrium
Rikard Elmyr, the governor of Gyrium, gazed upon his city in horror. It was quickly falling in to ruin as half of the city was ablaze whilst the other half was being destroyed. He couldn't bare to witness such a grotesque scene such as the countless bodies, scattered across the streets and the unfortunates who were impaled on pikes. Rikard, who was standing on the balcony of the Governor's Mannor, looked over his left shoulder at a guard. "Sir," he said, "Get me my finest pistol, please"

The guard nodded and got a small case. Inside was a steel pistol, engraved elegantly with silver and gold. It was a marvelous gun. "Thank you," said Rikard, "That will be all" Rikard then loaded the gun and held it firmly in his hand, contemplating as to whether or not his next move would be a wise one. "It has been an honor, living on Erde in peace... until this point," he said whilst looking down beneath the balcony, "I only wished that the peace had lasted. O Great Erhman, lord of Erde, watcher of Men, and protector of Ostyrlonia... why hath thou failed me so? I only wished for peace... please grant me a safe passage into Tryskidam and lead me not in to Harzeth..." Rikard put the pistol in his mouth, put his back towards the balcony, and pulled the trigger. His head soon became nothing more but chunks of matter as his limp body flew over the balcony railing, fell a hundred feet, and landed on the stone walkway below.

Meanwhile, more than half of the population of Gyrium, and even Ostyrlonia, had been killed or were dying while the country itself was inflames. Families in burning houses, trapped inside, hugged tightly whilst the Spanish barbarians were stalking the streets. Priests of Erhman were standing on the corner, preaching Erhman's good will and a safe passage for the people in to Tryskidam until they were burned to death or killed by the Spanish Savages. It was truly a grotesque sight.

Alaska
The navy was prepared for the invasion of the Alaskan territories as they where flashing in the waves, but it was only 15 Ytu( which are a larger, but slower version of the galleass, and has slightly more guns) which were seeing on the land soldiers, with armor meant to stop the bullets from hitting them, and the women of Greger had prayed to their goddess in order to make the cannons work. The invasion force was monly 20,000, but the most of the forces were already in the Mongolian-controlled Japan as the powerful force of 150,000 was in the Asian mainland traveling to the border that split Mongolia in half between Shacklefold and Japan, the force will strike first with fury before the Shogunate forces can have time to react. They will focus on the major cities of industry to break supply first as they where preparing to meet whatever forces the Japanese had to muster.

The grenade killed half of the men at the cover, with some soldiers also killed from the volley. Nonetheless, two of the soldiers behind cover threw three fire bombs to the Shacklefold diplomat hiding behind the cover, with the arquebus-armed soldiers firing their weapons to the guards from behind the cover.

The army had raised 40,000 Mongolian raiders, lightly armored but fast and armed with bow, spear, and arquebus. The civilian defense corps had raised 120,000 decently trained and motivated civilian troops armed with arquebus, bow, and melee weapons. The Korean pirates have reinforced the Japanese Navy, with 25 Galleass and 150 Japanese bunes ready for naval battle.

There are 20 cannons for assistance and protected with the addition of forts.

Japan
The diplomat and the men were killed by the grenades and flashes of black smoke, they had killed more even when against overwhelming numbers. These were the first casualties of a long-awaited war that had sparked because of the New World. The news reached the Beast Council and it was to be expected and the diplomat was trained and willing to die for Ignea.

The army was at large 50,000 as they will begin the assault while the 220 strong army full of Yuotibs with 30 Ytu( 45 max but they are at Alaska as of this moment) are preparing the naval battle for the Sea of Japan while the main army is marching down south, it will take some time, but they will get their after the battle of Sisfar.

The 50,000 main army where ready to storm the walls of Sisfar as the Women of Greger fires the first volley and they await the second as the Rvabruns( basically, a short-range cannon meant to take down walls, barricades, and large doors or be used as anti-Infantry, it is like a cannon with no wheels to pull it, but has about 5-7 people to lift it by handles and get into cover while they fire, it is a lot more longer to set up then the actual cannon) to prepare to make an opening for the rest of the army to exploit.

The cannons were firing the volley while the Infantry and range support where given the Women of Greger cover as they lift the heavy Ravbruns were loaded and were moving in range to blast holes in the walls while the range were returning fire at the bowmen on the walls with the canons blasting at the walls of the town while the main army spreads out and starts running towards the walls under cover of arrows and cannons to attempt to climb the walls.
Battle for the Sea of Japan
The full navy of 220 Yuotibs and 30 Ytu had started the attack for the control for the Sea of Japan, it was known that this battle will be at the northern tip of Japan and this will be the battle they may mark the crucial point in the war. The Ubshugard are prepared to board the ships and take them over( the enemies) as they had 30,000 Ubshugard prepared for an ambitious assault of the Japanese mainland, but their objective is to control the sea of Japan and cut off supply from the rest of the motherland for taking Japan is fruitless with them amassing their own population for the coming invasion, but even Shacklefold is not ready to amass their horde across the sea yet.

Rise of Medoneux | Part One
The Birth of a Nation

Music
Medoneux (Ostyrlonia)
Evris George, who was still fearing the decimation of everything that Ostyrlonia stood for by the Voldovin and Spanish heathens, was trying to figure out what he would do to the empire. Obviously, the military of Ostyrlonia was in such a sad state that it could barely protect its capital, let alone the entire country. He then looked at a map of the Evrisdom, which lied open on top of an oak desk. George scanned the map carefully, wondering what options he had, if any at all.

However, he did see one choice. Reluctantly, he picked up a quill and outlined a portion of Ostyrlonia. This portion he marked in green. The rest, he crossed out or made a greyed color. The map he made displayed how hard it was for Ostyrlonia to survive, as George cut off Ostyrlonia from about 85% of what it once was. Soon, he made a proclimation, saying that Ostyrlonia is no more and that the Evrisdom of Medoneux was what remained of Ostyrlonia.

Gyrium

The plans of the commanders were in great effect. Surely the Ardovicians will pursue to their best to undermine the Spanish power through espionage, but cannot even have an open battle with her strong armies. The city was a complete example of the phrase "Never mess with the Spanish". As the flames scattered all around the city, turning it to dust, a letter was sent to the Spanish court in Madrid about the success of the operation, with innumerable counts of casualties gained from both sides.

Mercenary reinforcements recruited from Iberia and Italian peninsula had arrived to add up more forces in the bulwark of the ravaging armies in Gyrium. There were 20,000 mercenaries hired by the merchant companies to join the war effort in destroying both Ardovicia and Ostyrlonia. Another 10,000 mercenaries were expected to add up by the end of the month, thanks to the coffers of the merchants willing to pour their funds to utterly end the hegemony of his enemies. The 100,000-strong armies, after leaving Gyrium to flames and dust, left the city and hold their camp near the dusty ruins. After the renforcements will arrive, they will march to Heridos to end their Ostyrlonian phase of campaign.

The Royal Audience was in debate whether to grant citizenship to Ostyrlonian refugees ravaged by the war, or kill all of them for the sake of vengeance for the past years since their alliance with the Unimonarchists (UMM). The Queen-Empress Isabella I sought for more diplomatic discourse, but both the Audience and the Royal Senate cannot guarantee any success from foreign relations, except maintaining allied ties with other states and facilitate trade.

Recognizing Medoneux

As the steady downfall of Ostyrlonia and its bitter end, the Queen-Empress Isabella I sent a letter to the new government proclaiming the State of Medoneux. The Queen sought friendly and neutral terms to the newly-formed government and nation, wishing for them good tidings and luck as the fix the country from the shambles of war. The 10,000 mercenary reinforcements arrived shortly after all of Ostyrlonia befell in its own hands. The 130,000 strong army went to northwest Italy to encamp and receive their pay from the merchants and the King's royal treasury, about 180,000 gold coins, bringing with them refugees and slaves they had captured and looted from Gyrium.

The History of te Bab Islands,
1531-1540

1531-1536: The small scouting party continues the long voyage, eventually returning.
1537-1539: The econonomy further expands with the new maps from Europe. It helps traders fnd where certain countries are, and faster trade routes.
1540: The Bab Islands Defense Council is set up. Growng military number proves more difficult for Kings, so these council members are selected from the Council of Arthwald.(5 of them)

The 130,000 strong army went to northwest Italy to encamp and receive their pay from the merchants and the King's royal treasury, about 180,000 gold coins, bringing with them refugees and slaves they had captured and looted from Gyrium.

Evris George I, who was now the self-proclaimed leader of Medoneux, was surprised to see that the Spanish actually wanted peaceful relations between Medoneux and Spain, considering Medoneux was the government that had previously overseen Ostyrlonia. As he read over the letter, he sent a reply to the Spanish.

To the Queen-Empress of Spain,
We would like to remain neutral with your nation, as we are not looking to increase foreign relations when we can barely handle our internal affairs. Maybe in the future we could be allied.
~George I, Evris of Medoneux

After sending the letter to the Spanish, George hoped that he could sway the Voldovians to end the conflict.

To the Voldovians,
Please, end this great massacre! This war has been nothing but that, a massacre! And you have gotten what you have wished. Ostyrlonia is no more, on Medoneux remains. Gyrium is but ashes and Heridos is near the same. Please, we beg you, act like your Spanish allies and end this war immediately!
~George I, Evris of Medoneux

Ruins of Gyrium
There were few survivors of the attack who managed to remain in Gyrium. The once great city of artisans and scholars was now nothing but ashes. The 730,000 people who had once lived there were now just burned remains or slaves of the Spanish. It was a horrid sight, as one man rose from the ashes. His name was Eric de Gyrium, a politician who managed to survive the onslaught by the Spanish. In the hopes of rebuilding the city to its former glory, the other 478 citizens who survived began to build a town of shacks. This town, named Renouveau... renewal.

These people sent a letter to Heridos, where they hoped that the Evris would see their message. It was a message begging for soldiers, architects, and artisans. Builders, farmers, and peasants... all of which, would be of great use to Renouveau at this point.

Raegen

"Ostyrlonia is no more! Raegendar is no more! To Equalibria(America) fellow Scandin!"
Massive ships that had been used by everyone from merchants to the military made flight from the former Osytrlonian province of Raegendar, attempting to head to the only other known Svedish region in the world, which was the city of Nautica in Southern Equalibiria. Almost half of the province's population had gotten up and left in the anarchy, and much less than that would arrive in Nautica.

Nautica

The city had been steadily growing, with mine and farms reaping large harvests for the city. The currency had become almost universal in the region, and it looked as if the area might finally achieve some prosperity.

But it was then the boats came, first in small numbers, but then by the dozen, and then by the dozens. Hundreds of thousands of Scandin refugees claimed that Raegan was in disrepair and that they must offer them shelter. They were educated, which was the main reason they could survive the difficult voyage. The citizens of Nautica did the best they could, but it would still be a while before they would recover. The refugees almost instantly began to construct new buildings in Nautica to have it resemble Raegan, a center of education was built to help educate both the citizens and the refugees on new technologies. It was named the Nautica Institute, and hopefully it would improve the lives of everyone.

The letter, received by the Voldovians, made them back off. A letter of response was made- some Easternly provinces of the former Kingdom of Ostyrlonia would be seized when falling back, but little more. The war was finally over. The armies of Voldovin-Poland pulled out of the new Kingdom. The war was over. The standing army shrunk back down to 150,000, as troops pulled out of the Baltic, as well.

On the homefront, attempts were made to unite the now-combined Polish-Ukrainian Commonwealth. The capital was moved to a city on the Polish-Ukrainian border, Lviv, with the King commissioning a grand palace there to commemorate the union. Attempts were made to merge the two nation's cultures, which were already extremely close. The national anthem was ratified, along with a new flag. For the first time, the nation inspired a true nationalistic fervor, from all its occupants.

Meanwhile, on the foreign front, trade resumed with the nations of the world. Letters of trade were sent out once again to the nations they had previously warred with. The African colony, while not expanding, had its quality of living brought nearly up to the standard of the rest of the nation. Meanwhile, plans were hatched for Southern Africa, and India. While the people were slightly weary from the war, they also could take on those without their technology with extraordinary ease...

" Of course, Shacklefold will be happy to deal with trade in the north as much as they realize that hunting bears and cattle will not be tolerated in the Bearcalnatte."
Japan
The representative bowed as they have a stern look." Let me get to the point, we want Afukus( Alaska) and the colony for the glory of Ignea and if needed, then there will be war."

"Of course," said the envoy, trying to remedy the situation as best he could. "The government of New Anima had no intention of disrespecting your culture's traditions, and I assure you, these furs are meant to be a symbol of good will. Rest assured, New Anima has other goods that will hopefully be to your liking."

The chancellor read the documents before him with disdain. Intelligence had reported that hostilities had been ignited between Shacklefold and another nation farther south. It was unsettling for everyone, especially Anima, knowing that there was a war on their doorstep. His people were most certainly scared; it was in an era such as this with blade and fire that the Animans were forced away from their homeland so long ago. Something had to be done to both assure his people's safety and ensure that they would not be cast out again. They had fled as far as they could from war-torn Europe, and now, they had nowhere else to flee.

Patrols would be sent near the southern border, in small numbers so as not to alarm anyone. Patrol ships would be deployed along the coast, equipped with experimental lamps utilising whale oil, to watch for armed ships and signal to the mainland to man the defenses. The policy of neutrality would not be broken so long as New Anima was not directly affected by this war, and diplomatic envoys would be sent less frequently to the belligerent nations.

Medoneux | Chapter Two
From Rags to Riches

Heridos
As the Voldovian army marched away from the walls of Heridos, the Evris let out a sigh of relief. Finally, Medoneux could start its life in Errynpa anew, without any chaos or violence that had plagued the country since it became a country. As the Evris was celebrating, he received word from Gyrium. This would cut the celebration short for the old man, as he thought that Gyrium would stand for centuries. He ordered for ten thousand people, whether they be soldiers, artisans, or peasant farmers, to Renouveau in order to rebuild the city.

Heridos | Three Years Later
The city that was nearly conquered had changed since we last saw it. The walls that surrounded it were now made of cobblestone and concrete, strong substances that would be able to survive a seige. The interior of the city, however, did not change much. The buildings that had been damaged during Blutiges Errynpa were now repaired. The markets had been bustling with life now, as they were vacant for several months after the battle. The city's life had been restored to what it once was.

Renouveau | Three Years Later
The city finally began to look similar to what it once was. The docks were bustling with life as rows of houses lined the harbor. The population had doubled to 20,000, making Renouveau a trade hub for the entirty of Medoneux. The navy was also being rebuilt here, though they had little need. Once Henry IV came back from his battling in the Noire Mea, the navy had practically been restored to the size it once was. However, these were mostly warships. There were few merchant ships in Medoneux's navy, though the citizens of Renouveau were working to change that.

One day, in the hopes of showing Errynp that Medoneux and even Renouveau had come back to what it once was, a voyage of great importance began. The crew, using three of Medoneux's twenty merchant ships, were going to head to Souden Emerida, in the hopes of starting colonizing the land and harvesting its resources. The crew was sent off at noon and immediately began to head for Souden Emerida.

Argentia | Souden Emerida
The ships, after several months at sea, noticed some land ahead of them. It was foggy, and difficult to see, but it was there. The crew, excited by this find, headed straight for the shore. Once they landed, they found no people or signs of people. This allowed for the sailors to build a port in this land easily, a land which they called Argentia. That was also what they named the port.

With taxes simply flowing in from the deported Svedes, especially with refugees running from their homelands there, as well as other immigrants, the 25% every 5 years was making Ardovicia rich. Well, it didn't contribute all that much in total income, but it was a very welcome source of money that merely needed to be picked up, and also introduced new ideas and goods. This money was very useful, with the economy booming, especially with the New World Company, which was bringing home absurd amounts of fish and fur.

Peace was concluded with Spain, with a small sum of money being sent (Quirina, you fine with this?) while the armies returned home, after doing relatively little during the war. Collapsed Ostyrlonia had left Ardovicia some Svedish lands, almost completing that ancestrally coveted North Sea ring, with Elmet being the last obstacle. It was decided, however, to try and continue expansion, now; it had been too long since Ardovicia exercised power in its Ardovician Sea.

Medoneux | Chapter Two, Part Two
War & Peace

Heridos
As George sat upon his throne, he realized that Medoneux would be much better off if it had allied with the Spanish and the Polish-Ukrainians. With the country still relatively new, it would be best for the country to ally with one of the strongest alliances in Errynpa: The Southern League. He wrote a letter to the member states in the hopes of joining the league.

To members of the Southern League,
After much thought, I have come to the conclusion that the best course of action for Medoneux would be to join forces with the Southern League, in the hopes of uniting Errynpa and to stop all future wars from occurring in Werden Errynpa (Western Europe). If any money is needed to join, or any other form of a fee, then just inform me.

Renouveau
In this town, the military was beginning to get upgraded. They got outfitted iron chestplates and helmets while they wore leather and fabric leggings. They also got outfitted with handcannons, this time it had prototype versions of the wheel lock. A vast majority, however, had the regular firing mechanism. Officers were given rapiers while regular soldiers were given a new weapon, called the bainyt. The 'bainyt' would serve as both a sword and, when needed, a blade that can be mounted on the underside of a handcannon's barrel.

They began to prepared 10 wooden cannons (Cannons of Japanese version, able to lob and to shot straight, but it's a bit longer to take the reload but faster to set up) at the top of the cannon stage on the walls.

The 40,000 Mongolian raiders are on the way to the border, with more than 400,000 civilians had been raised across Japan for the defense preparation and for the 240 ships to prepared the navy.

The shock cavalry was ready to meet the Mongolian raiders as they were riding into the charge formation with spears out and aregubus and bows firing at the raiders on the backs of the Mongolian Horses that as they try to maneuver around the local main cavalry to have an attempt to route them or kill them.

The archers fired the fire arrows to the enemy's archers to killed them, while the raiders climbed to the walls to halt the enemies climbing the walls. With the hole of the walls, the raiders inside the town scrambled to blockade it with spears as they valiantly attempt to killed the enemies. The cannons fired their cannonballs to the enemy with lob shot, particularly inaccurate but effective, as the town inhabitants rescued the belongings and civilians from the enemies's cannon shot.

The raiders are killed by the shot of the Mongolian raiders at the border, but nonetheless, many still survive and firing their bows and arquebuses while the shock cavalry charging with wedge formation to the enemy's Mongolian horse.

The Korean garrison force, about 250,000 soldiers, form a defense line and barricade to stop the invasion of Shacklefold.

The Macedonian-Ukrainian saw that they wanted something in return. They then saw that they were gesturing an arquebus. He then looked back at his men. "<These men want our weapon, the arquebus.>" he spoke in Ukrainian towards a man, which sounded like he was mixing in his Macedonian with the Slavic language. However, the guard understood. He proceeded to becon out the Arquebuses and offered them to the Loin clothed man. He then spoke in his language again. "<Are you an Mosuite?>" he asked, thinking he was in Mosuo.

Lands of New Settlement

The north of the Kazakh homeland was seemingly empty, and devoid of any civilization. So, the Laandsrad Ordu, the Bureaucrats in charge of settling the lands, claimed the land and began to ship in the listless unemployed from the cities, promising an acre of land for each. Ahmed was one of these people who were immigrated from the city, and given an acre of land. He was a newly minted farmer, a grower of cotton, which supplied him with enough money to care for his family of 4. One day, his wife travelled out to the riverbank near the edge of their property. She came back quickly, with a huge smile on here face. The clothes she was washing had little golden flakes in them. Ahmed headed back to the river with a pan, and found more golden dust. He was rich!

The news of Ahmed's find spread quickly through the Kazakh people, and many immigrated to the province in droves, hoping to strike it rich from the Gilded River. This was, of course, a major headache for the Ordu, who had to have near constant surveys of the land and how many people lived there. They also collected a tax, in gold dust, from the gold seekers. This quickly became a topic of debate within the Ordu, and one answer was found.

A messenger would be dispatched to the West, hoping to find some civilized people to trade their gold dust with.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.
Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a liberal.
To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate idealistic egalitarian with many strong convictions.
