Please telll me if I should reduce these claims. Im trying to get Scythica (NPC) to have a bit more and trying so hard not to god mod. Note, on my post, this took many years to do and there was alot of struggle even with gunpowder. So that is why some is SEMI Green. The smaller ones that were dark grey are conquered. @Allen, lol at Europe having more trade than the Americas. We've had North-South trade for a long while now and we have a shit ton of trade up and down the Mississippi and in the Gulf. My country has had a desire for south American goods for a couple hundred years. Besides that we aren't these weak tribes you guys keep thinking we are, we are quite strong. Granted we don't have large populations and I have open lands, but they aren't in my national interest.

@Horus, thanks for changing your rules about only European colonization.

Granted, lot of demand on Mississippi and Gulf and whatnot, but we have the equivalent with entire nations fighting over Mediterranean trade, and me taxing all these lucrative North sea trade routes, especially out of the Baltic and whatnot. We also have more population, which would mean more demand and more supply.

So? Weak tribes can have strong trade, strong nations can have weak trade. Irrelevant.

In your part, I can see that but realize that Shacklefold and Pol are also contenders for this title as well.

No idea. I have no ethnic minorities except Ostyrlonians who refused to go to Ostyrlonia because "I was born here and i'll die here schmee schmee schmee", and not really any economic nor social problems; I am a democracy with an emperor at its tippy top. Though merchants/penal/imperialism colony that slowly got forgotten and ignored is an idea.

Not really; I'm pretty free trade, taxes are sort of medium-ish, and though I did clear some houses recently, it wasn't really rather many. I think penal or merchants is your best bet, but if you want, I can reform to full-blown republic early and have the people who took the brunt of the reform and dissidence go to you?

What if I do merchants, where the colony is founded for profit, and workers from the former Empire are sent to serve as farmhands and other labour?

It's quite peaceful indeed. No Crusades because the majority of nations here have their own religions and not in good relationship between one and the other, unlike Asia, America, and Africa. But again, perhaps a Crusades will happens during the colonization age, perhaps the Nations of Europe band together for once in a lifetime to colonize Asia or America.
