Return of the Pokémorphs [OOC, Open]

Nine years ago, an offshoot of the Silph Corporation began to experiment with human beings and pokemon...creating real-life horror, a nightmare come true for those kept in captivity for over six years. Congruently, the same corporation operated four separate and distinct facilities, where hundreds of these "pokemorphs" were held like a prison. They had a wonderful gift - to be able to turn into a pokemon at will - but with it came torture, starvation, and imprisonment for the better part of a decade. It is unknown exactly what happened next. A "higher up" issued an order to dismantle all "Facilities", and cover up all evidence that there were any. Supposedly, two morphs had leaked the whole story to the media. The morphs began to be systematically excited. Two hundred days later, none were left. The facilities all had a mysterious "gas failure" within a month of each other, and exploded, killing all inside.There was no evidence that they ever existed...

...Almost no evidence. Somehow, a certain specific media journalist by the name of Trevor learned of these thousands of deaths, and went insane knowing that they were all on his shoulders. He started a new facility, in the demolished remains of what used to be the Entralink.
That was four years ago. History may not repeat itself, but it always wears the same cloths...

IC Thread

Okay basic shit. You can either be a Pokemorph, who can turn into a single pokemon at will, or a normal trainer. Legendaries are off limits for both, but all non-legendaries, non-glitch, non-haXX0r pokemon are fair game for both. I expect at least one Wailord morph, for teh lulz. No godmodding, metagaming, etc. Battles between morphs can be rather interesting, as they can easily switch between mon-on-mon and human-on-human, or even human-on-mon although that wouldn't end well.
Also, no guns.
The plot will start with a major breakout at the facility, and will continue with the pro-facility forces trying to hunt down and capture, or convince to come back willingly, the escapees. You know, the usual.

Backstory (Optional): One of the first enlistees to the new Facility, Geldoblame (or Gel for short) joined at 16 and became a Beldum. Three years later, at the age of 19 he evolved into a Metang, which somehow aged him another year. Since he's become one of Trevor's most trustworthy guards, and his oft sarcastic and elitist tone has made him one of the prisoner's most hated enemies.

Mental Description: A courageous young lady, Evangeline rarely gives up when confronted with obstacles. Due to her being a capable and powerful “warrior”, she is rather impulsive when it comes to her close friends being threatened. She can be considered an enjoyable friend to be with but she does not really take jokes lightly. Her loyalty to Trevor is of course, unquestionable.

Backstory: Born in Castelia city, Evangeline’s parents died a few years after Evangeline was born. She was severely depressed but her life changed when she was enlisted into the Facility that was constructed at what used to be the Entralink at the age of 12. Her Pokémon counterpart was Larvitar and she began to train extremely hard to show that she was in fact, extremely grateful to be part of the Facility. As she grew up, she evolved to Pupitar and finally, Tyranitar. Her preferred form was as a human but when it was neccessary for events such as battles, she would defintely morph into Tyranitar without hestiation.

I mean its perfectly normal for trainers to have same pokemons as other trainers but when they are same as pokemorphs ... you know it really gets either annoying or confusing, since there is a lack of individualism.
