Being the Balance of The Universe means that Abel has an ambiguous personality. He can be happy, fun, caring & friendly but at the same time serious, cold, ruthless and evil depending on the situation. Overall though, he has a really cool, calm and lazy attitude. He doesn't take anything else seriously.....anything that does not involve his work that is......but when really bored would sometimes abuse his authority to have some fun and entertainment. To the other Beings of Origin he is more or less like the younger annoying immature brother who would not hesitate to play pranks on them once in a while.
Short bio of Character:
"......and from the emptiness of Void burst forth Balance, the Keeper of Peace as well as the Instigator of Chaos. He is the enemy of Darkness and the antagonist of Light. He is everybody's greatest friend but also their greatest enemy."
Balance can never claim to be truly on one side nor the other. To maintain the proper standard between Order and Chaos, Good & Evil, he will have to choose to remain neutral or depending on the situation, ally himself with either one temporarily until balance have been restored to the Universe itself. Thus, he makes the best judge and adjutant among the other Gods and Beings of Origin.
According to ancient history records, it was Balance who introduced and taught Mankind the power of the Yin & Yang and how to stabilise the negative and positive energy forces within their own bodies. Through his teachings, humans have been able to utilise magic in order to bend the various elements of the material and spiritual planes to their will and from there the first generation of Homo Magi were born. Therefore, Balance received the title of The Sage of The Six Paths and is worshipped as the creator of all forms of Martial Arts & Magic. Ninjutsu wielders could often be seen praying to statues or pictures of The Sage before going on a mission.
When the world was first formed and the first men came into existence, Balance combined the two forces of Chaos and Order together with his life energy to create a powerful entity known as The Shinju or God Tree (meant to be a lovely gift and a show of his approval of the Earth's making). The Shinju was not only a deity but also a sentient symbol of protection and guidance and once every year it bore a fruit that was forbidden for men to consume. Unfortunately, one day when Balance plucked the fruit and personally gave it to Mankind in order to infuse them with magic and create the first Homo Magi, The Shinju became extremely angry and jealous.
Filled with the desire to reclaim its stolen power, The Shinju turned into a monstrous form of what many christened as the Ten-Tails. The furious Ten-Tails rampaged throughout the lands until The Sage of Six Paths managed to single-handedly defeat the beast and sealed it within the Moon. Being to powerful for even himself to destroy and knowing that it will eventually break free, Balance decided to split the Ten-Tail's chakra into nine fragments that are each given a physical form and name. Thus the nine Tailed Beasts (Shukaku, Matatabi, Isobu, Son Guku, Kokuo, Saiken, Chomei, Gyuki & Kurama) came into being. Some time after their creation, the young tailed beasts were told that they were all still linked to one another despite being separate entities. Balance also told them that they would eventually become one again, yet not as they originally were, and that one shall appear at that time to show them what true power is. Despite their close relation to one another, there is a significant amount of friction between the tailed beasts that caused them to part ways. One such cause was due to Kurama's belief that their strength was determined by the number of their tails.
Although they have different sentiments, the Tailed Beasts are all loyal and bound to Balance Himself and revere him as a fatherly figure.
Just in case any of the Tailed Beasts were to rebel and behave like their predecessor, Balance gifted a few select humans various eye powers, mainly The Sharingan (one of the powerful eyes he himself created and possesses besides The Rinnegan). These selected ninjutsu practitioners were tasked with keeping the Tailed Beasts in check should Balance lose control of them. With various evolved ocular techniques, The Sharingan users were able to seal or control the Tailed Beasts into submission.
Later on, Balance created the Six Paths of Equilibrium using an Outer Path technique based on his Rinnegan eye. The Six Paths are in-fact the corpses of six different legendary heroes and heroines who are formed to aid Balance in his work in keeping things in order. Through them he also formed The Akatsuki.....a powerful and influential cult of magic Ninjas residing on Earth, that are dedicated in either spreading Peace or causing Chaos.
Ever since Pandora's Box had been unleashed, Balance had been stuck in a dilemma.....unsure how to act in the current situation and who he should side with this time.....Good or Evil. Therefore he decided to descend down to Earth under the alias of Abel and judge the scenario himself in the first-person view.
