Gunpowder and Steel: A histroical RP

So seeing as how my other Alt history RPs never really got off the Ground, I have decided to try one more time. This RP is set in the year 1700 AD, when the colonial powers finally began to take shape. You take the throne of a great, or not so great, Empire of the 18th century, ranging from the cultured French, to the naval geniuses of Britain, to the wealthy sultans of the Ottoman Turks. How will you lead your nation?
Will you cause defeat of an opponent on the battle field, or foil his plans through tricky alliances? Will you build a vast trade empire and let the gold flow in, or will you seek to plunder the coffers of those with the vast resources of the Americas? You can decide in Gunpowder and Steel: A Historical RP!

Rules: One page is 3 months, meaning one year is 4 pages
Travel times can be bent, but never broken, it does not take 1 post to move from India to Great Britain.
Be realistic
Listen to the OP or Co-ops,
No god modding

There are two amendments to the map. First, Scotland is a part of England, and second the British control Northern Canada, Ruperts Land
Alright, so in 1700, we have 10 Great Powers. Here they are:
Great Britain
France
Spain
The Ottoman Empire
Russia
The Qing empire
the Mughal Empire
Sweden
Austria
Portugal

These are the top nations at this time, yet you can be any of the ones on the map.
