Story standpoint: Thriller's been away at war. He left behind his wife and kids. They haven't seen him or heard from him. Swith's posted IC that her character's always checking heaven and hell in case he turns up dead. Returning home, in context of the story, may mean they rekindle their story before he (GT) leaves again for training. I have no problem if she wants to pause her other characters during that time.

Well duh, just running up to someone and spouting off beliefs offends people. Start a friendly conversation somehow. Like if they're shopping for CD's, ask what kind of music they like. you know, stuff like that, then edge your way towards Jesus and the whole message of salvation.

I hate that method, no offense. Better to be right out about it. That way, nonChristians don't feel like they were tricked into a conversation.

The best method of all is to live as an example. People want to know what makes a person so happy, and how they always find peace in daily life. They're curious about the person's compassion and beliefs because they want to have that feeling inside them, too.

People praise me all the time for being a good example of a Christian. I seem to stay calm, I forgive, I try to help, I support, I nurture. They're shocked when I say I'm atheist. They're even more shocked when I explain that I apply a lot of Taoist philosophy to my daily life, and that I believe there was a Jesus... even if he was just some prophet or wise teacher... and his lesson of the sermon on the mount was key to finding our humble places in the universe.

There's evangelizing and then there's being a positive reflection of beliefs. Evangelizing might reach the ears of those downtrodden on their luck, but being a positive reflection reaches all people.
