No. I don't want to improve my gaming experience and thus I'm selecting this option because you've pretty much boxed me in to it. I know I don't actually have to select anything anyway but I'm compelled to cast a vote. I know I can go to viewtopic.php?f=31&t=268404 if I really wanted to voice my opinion.

The Abel Imaginarium wrote:With Swith's awesome advice and pointers I have managed to tweak my app hopefully for the better 8)

Your Nation's Nickname: Abel

Character Name (can be different than nation name):
Abel Lee......a.k.a Iridescent

URL to Character Picture or a few sentences about what they look like:

Character Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc):
Nephalem

Character Powers/Special Abilities (if any):
Sharingan/Mangekyo Sharingan - Sharingan abilities include casting deadly powerful lllusions, hypnosis (or sleep inducement), illusion awareness and mimicking/copying any difficult combat or martial art movements. It also enables him to see the energy flow within anything living, allowing to analyse & track fast-moving objects before finally getting some amount of predictive capabilities which allow him to see the image of an attacker's next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body and counter-attack or dodge without any wasted movement. His Mangekyo Sharingan has the power to utilize a kind of Singularity Inducement technique that is very useful against more powerful opponents.
Ninjutsu
Echolocation
Outbreak Survivalist
Food Empowerment
Electrokinesis/Electric Conductivity
Superhuman Dancing - Abel has mastered all kinds of different dancing styles thanks to his Sharingan. Now as a professional, he can even incorporate them or use them as unique combat skills in any given situation.
Trapping Combat - As one of the greatest shinobis in the world, traps are of course Abel's forte and not to mention one of his favorite hobbies. He is smart enough to devise the most deadliest/effective trap using only mere scraps and junk. During a battle, Abel's traps have a way of severely handicapping his opponents before allowing him to deal the fatal blow.
Unpredictability - The number one most unpredictable ninja in the world, Abel's way of attacking/defending is so bizarre and out-of-the-ordinary that a majority of his opponents are unable to out-think him and properly analyse his battle tactics. Abel is capable of extracting basic movements from various forms of martial arts or skills he has learned and putting them together in order to create his own kind of unique fighting style. In this way his enemy can't read what his next move would be and he/she would easily get confused or tricked into defeat.
Jinxed - Cursed since birth with bad luck, Abel has somehow learned how to use his unfortunate situations against his enemies.
Flash Step
Character Weaknesses/Flaws:
- Although he is able to mimic any fighting style his enemy does with his Sharingan, he is unable to copy their powers nor any supernatural ability.
- He is able to see an attack or know it is coming but his body may not always have time to react.
- As he is unable to de-activate his Sharingan at will, he will always need to cover it up in order to prevent energy loss and from hurting other people accidentally.
- Using the Mangekyo Sharingan will drain his entire energy to the point of exhaustion. Thus, he will only use it in times of emergency.
- Electokinesis can only be used to create all variations of the Chidori/Raikiri techniques.
- Has an obvious weakness for pretty girls and hot chicks and can easily get distracted by one even during an intense fight. Against a girl he will sometimes purposely lose depending on the situation.
- Must eat his usual 3 bowls of his favorite Jajanmyun noodles a day or else he can go cold turkey.

Character Background:
Abel Lee is the unlucky progeny of the archangel Michael and Eris, the demonic Goddess of Chaos. He never saw nor met his father before and was raised up within his mother's dominion of Tartarus. At the ripe age of 14, his rebelliousness led him to disobey his mother's one and only command and Abel escaped from his dark homeworld to explore and live a new life on Earth as a mortal. Acquiring his Sharingan eye from one of the seven Demon lords of Hell, Abel became a legendary super heroic shinobi known as Iridescent. He made his first debut when he managed to survive, rescue and destroy an outbreak within a city whose populace had been turned into flesh-eating zombies. After that he started his own "ninja for hire" agency with a few apprentices and became the author of a series of best-selling romance novels.

Additional Notes:
- Iridescent is very famous not only for his novels but also for never failing an important mission/task.
- He is renowned for always keeping his word & honour and for being a very dependable person.
- The only gun Abel carries with him is a Smith & Wesson Airweight Model 37-2, although he does tend to bring along a shotgun sometimes.
- Always armed with a tactical knife plus numerous shurikens and Kunai Knives
- Is a big fan of erotic novels and comic books and can always be seen reading one in public or while taking a stroll
- Allergic to cats
- Loves spicy food and anything with fried chicken or beef.
- Theme song #1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdNwHtCIyX4
- Theme song #2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3p4LXdQxas

IMPORTANT:
One paragraph that sums up your character. This paragraph is what we'll use on your player tab on the first page of the thread. This MUST be brief. Your tab will contain a link to your application so people will have full details:
Abel has a really calm and cool attitude. No matter in what kind of situation he is in, he will always have that care-free, tardy, "go with the flow" kind of behaviour. But make no mistake. Abel often does this to trick his opponents and make them underestimate his true skills & value. From day one he would have already carefully cross-examined & analysed his new friends, allies & rivals......figuring out multiple different possible ways to counter them emotionally and physically should he face them in a battle/challenge. Abel never really shows his true weaknesses and feelings to anybody. Although he might seem really friendly, shy and awkward around people, he is in-fact really apathetic to their lives and problems. Yes he is honestly a dependable character who would always remain loyal and and faithful to his 'friends' & family. But..........when the greater good is concerned, he would never hesitate to stab them in the back or sacrifice them to eliminate a major threat.

Approved. Swith updated me.

Not a prob. Thanks for the effort you put into it. Swith'll need to add it tomorrow when she wakes up.

There are two companies that provide specialized bodyguard/protection/espionage/infiltration & retrieval services. One is Eru's. Torsi is working on starting the other. Eru's concept was cleared by me months ago. A "dojo" business is unique at the moment. You could go with that.

There isn't much business near Lake Pearlelei. Residential. You might have better luck either Downtown or near Strip District. Even Industrial District would be good. Strip District (think of a district dedicated to shops and culture rather than a mini mall) contains Japanese garden.

Your choir has a nice sound. Very nice levels. Not easy to achieve with so many. (I selfishly skipped the first 35.3 minutes to see them.) The smaller group in the next piece, is that yours as well?

Yeah, we're on up to around 47 minutes. Our first song was sung with the 8-9th grade choirs as well. If I were you, I'd watch the 8-9th grade men's choir. They were hilarious.

Go to 20 minutes and watch from there!

I'm enjoying the flower duet (is that the name? Been so long that I can't remember.) I'll check out the men's choir.

Word to the wise: I'm not fishing with my recent post; only establishing that my characters are in the building. I won't be on until later tonight so approaching Ogoti and Marcus means you'll be frozen.

Ah okay.....I just want an open air area/field/land big enough for my little ninjas to train in thats all & to serve as some sparring ground for other supes who want to have a friendly battle or train with each other :lol2:

as for the bodyguard/protection thingy its more or less like a side job which will also serve as tests or missions for students who have become Chunins (or middle class shinobis). I'll concentrate more on training the little ninjas first though

How big is the Japanese garden btw?

Grey, considering that our conversation has been through TG, I can only assume that spammer came here because you've been grousing over my decision to not allow you in based upon concerns which we've discussed privately. Otherwise, Verdum's post makes little sense, no?

Our TG conversation has been polite and you expressed yourself well enough for me to consider speaking with my Co-OPs about the possibility of having you join. Now, however, my answer is a definite no.

@Abel. The Japanese gardens are big. You might have to do what others do in real life: commute. Let me talk with Swith. She has Bielefeld mapped out and can probably stick your group in someplace that has open spaces but isn't residential.

You might want to network with Erucia as well. His character was lamenting over needing to train the men he'd just hired.

I'll start my first post in the IC first before making and bringing in more chars.

So after reading the front page...all I have to do for now is just bring my char into the lobby and his key to the apartment and the contract will automatically already be there on the reception desk?

I have a few minutes. I can get him situated in IC if you have him walk into the lobby.

@Bran. That Chrys statue is creepy. Can Hans borrow it?

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Swith's better at this than I am.

The building's outside looks like whatever your character would find appealing. Victorian manor, row house, chalet etc. The lobby and communal areas will also look like whatever's inviting.

There are a few lobby fixtures that never change. The reception desk and the box on the wall behind it (for payments, leases). There is an old-fashioned phone booth in a corner. Seating areas are all around. There's a wooden bench (AKA Thriller's Thinking Bench). When a character first walks into the building, he'll see a collection of mailboxes on wall to the right (like what you see in old apartment buildings in NYC or else post office boxes.)

There are several marked doors in the lobby.
One is the bomb shelter (a private residence).
One is labeled "Chaos Quarters" (a private residence).
One is labeled "Clinic" (a clinic for residents. Someone is always wounded or dead).
One marked "Utility" (few people use that one as it leads to weird rooms with pipes and the back door.)
