ALRIGHTY>>> Creepfest is right around the corner!!!

Who want in? If you want in, what characters will you bring? You can have two.

Things to know about Creepfest:

1. It's a stand-alone, encapsulated adventure. Nothing that happens during CreepFest will transfer over to the real game. Powers gained/lost, death etc won't be permanent.
2. Oh yes, people will die. Some horribly. That's why you have two characters.
3. Please don't focus on character development/relationships during CreepFest.
4. Horror-based characters: if you haven't been asked by the GM to contribute your horror, don't. Your skills will come in handy but, for sake of the story, your character will be encountering things he's never seen. If you want to Mary Sue "My character isn't afraid/affected because he's a badass grimdark character", find another RP to do this weekend. Otherwise, you'll kill the fun for everyone else.
5. Powers are meaningless. The more powerful a character is, the harder he falls. Mortals (and their innate common sense) probably stand a better chance.
6. No other stories will run during the event. The posts will get confusing otherwise.
7. It will be a fast-paced blitz game. Short posts are okay. Make sure you put in your character's reaction and not just dialog.
8. Players who sign up MUST be online for the game so nobody else is stalled. If you go off to play Steam, you might come back to two dead characters.

Remember a basic RP skills, too...

• Peeps will need to read posts for content. Don't just walk into a room without first having the setting described to you.
• If you godmod an NPC death, the OP's next post will most likely be a godmod of your own character's. Players aren't to determine the effectiveness of their attack on something else.

Hey, in my defense all Astartes literally have fear ripped right out of them and are physically incapable of experiencing the emotion. Same with Storm Troopers to some extent. Although being brainwashed/indoctrinated since birth and used as a child soldier helps.

No actually, Chaos Space Marines become more inhuman with taint, and it doesn't hurt either that with Slaanesh, he's ensured either revival or a pleasant afterlife.
(Well, pleasant for a servant of Slaanesh, not your standard person who would be mortified by such a fate and might even choose oblivion over it.)

No, he didn't... he blocked it with a folded up piece of paper... and even then the bullet still went deep into his body... and he insisted on finishing his speech (which he had only just started) before getting treatment... and the speech carried on for a few hours... and then when he finally received treatment, he decided against getting operated on, and the bullet remained embedded inside him for the rest of his life.

Which was also a smart move as well, which is why he called it knowing that it was the removal of a bullet that typically killed you if it was in a non-lethal area. He probably was familiar with poor President Garfield and how Thomas Edison killed him.

No, Edison didn't wash his hands while operating on Garfield using some sort of scanner (forget what is was exactly, think it was a metal detector), to locate the bullet and physically shoved his fingers into Garfield's body. He would have survived the bullet. It was the infection he got from Edison (most likely) that killed him.
