However, I ask that you please avoid writing the outcome of your creature's actions against my soldiers. They're my characters, not yours: it's generally considered common curtsey to simply state the action of your creature and perhaps what it was intending to do, and letting the other players write out the effects those actions have. It helps ensure a fun environment during play.

Saint's Row 4 came out today, and I was talking to NA about it earlier. He ended up asking me what my first action would be if I became president, and so on. However, after making a comment about advertising a political campaign on PL, an idea struck to mind: will PL be here in a couple dozen years?

Yes, I do know both things. Technically, my own soldiers are pulling back and in reverse. But I did respond to Albert (although it does involve Ray shooting a round in the direction of the monster). Still, I'll wait for the OP's (NOT TO BE DISCUSSED, BTW).

I still don't see why everyone was so pissed at that. I understand them wanting to protect the city, follow the rules, all that, but this seems like kind of an overreaction. I mean, Prim's done this stuff many times before, but it's only a problem now because of "the city is new, new rules, no killing civilians", and all that. Now if it was blindly destroying the entire city, then that's a problem. If it's a character them self killing people, I can understand, but this is a monster, part of one of Prim's stories which has been going on for a while, and is only a problem now that it's posing a true threat, as it naturally should.

I like the rules and structure and all, but I find this kind of....silly. It seems that ever since the last Drone invasion, the city has become this giant, colorful place, yet it's so...cold, bland. I mean, evil characters being restricted, fucking MONSTERS being forced to stop because of rules for characters, and all that jazz. I just think that there should be some exceptions to rules, at least in this case.

Really, Prim's done his before, and it was little to no problem, except for maybe two occasions.

Torii, they're only getting pissed because people are griping about it here, while it's being handled in TG between our OP's who know what they're doing. They want us to not worry about it and cause them more problems by having to tell us to not worry about it every second. And yeah, we have these rules so that the people who want to play normal people don't get crushed by the people playing monsters or villains.

I'd just stop worrying, because the OP's are dealing with it in the best way that they can.
