No. I don't want to improve my gaming experience and thus I'm selecting this option because you've pretty much boxed me in to it. I know I don't actually have to select anything anyway but I'm compelled to cast a vote. I know I can go to viewtopic.php?f=31&t=268404 if I really wanted to voice my opinion.

Oh God Tilt. We stole our kanji from you but we throw in kana just to explode heads.

English speakers who aren't in on the jest:
"Several thousand kanji are in regular use, while in modern Japanese the two syllabaries each contain 46 basic characters (71 including diacritics), each representing one sound in the Japanese language. Almost all Japanese sentences contain both kanji and hiragana, while some additionally use katakana. (For those unfamiliar with either language, the frequent appearance of the relatively distinctive hiragana characters is an easy way to distinguish written Japanese from Chinese.) Because of this mixture of scripts in addition to a large inventory of kanji characters, the Japanese writing system is often considered to be the most complicated in use anywhere in the world."

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

There's an "L" sound for Mandarin. Let me see if I've got this right...because Cantonese-accented English isn't as funny sounding.

*winces* OK, so I ended up exaggerating it slightly for comedic effect toward the end. But it's more or less what it sounds like, based on my Mandarin-speaking uncle.

Tilt, that's nearly as bad as mine. "ah" is ingrained in much of our sentences on top of the odd pronunciation. I've noticed some speakers replace some of our honorifics with it. Tilt-ah rather than Tilt-san. I don't know why. Some do it, some don't. It's also added at the ends of words. Why??? There's bound to be a linguistic reason.

Swith hates it when people mispronounce her name. Everyone does. She answers to it if you call her. She's too shy to correct them.

*le sigh*

Everyone says aut-TREESE. If you click on the little speaker in the Italian box, it gives the pronunciation: this.

Cer, I'm not shy. Americans don't trill their 'r' sounds so it gets under my skin worse than aut-TREESE.

Your Nation's Nickname: Gal

Character Name (can be different than nation name): Michael Manis (a.k.a. Jackrabbit)

URL to Character Picture or a few sentences about what they look like: WIP (for if still open)

Character Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): metahuman

Character Powers/Special Abilities (if any): Force manipulation: For example, if he wanted to and you threw a punch at him, he could turn the force from the punch towards you, and his own force. HOWEVER, he can only reverse force direction and he has to know it's coming. If you punch him from behind and he does not know it's coming, it will cause damage equal to the force of your punch. Can use this for extreme jumping, which gave him his nickname.

Character Weaknesses/Flaws:
Arrogant as hell
No long range abilities
No long range resistance
Things illustrated in power explanation

Character Background: WIP (same as last WIP)

Additional Notes: THIS STILL OPEN?

URL to Apartment Picture: WIP (for if still open)

Link to RP examples: (this MUST be a DIRECT LINK to your IC post in an RP, NOT a link to the RP itself. If you don't have examples, make your biography good.) same WIP

IMPORTANT:
One paragraph that sums up your character. This paragraph is what we'll use on your player tab on the first page of the thread. This MUST be brief. Your tab will contain a link to your application so people will have full details:
I've read your Sig! I've read your soul
