How about this divide? The pink one has a greater population while the green would have greater technology?

That wouldn't make much sense though. Also all of the Russian area was under Mongol control according to the OP's map. (Just search the thread for the word Orange and the post should come up).

I guess, but I still think the Urals are a better border, we can just say the Mongols and Romans reached the Urals and had a stand off, maybe an armed border or something with the DMZ and everything.

Problem with that is that then the Eastern area would have an edge population and tech wise. A north south divide, if it were possible, would, if done right, give both the same of both, while keeping it simply Mongol and dividing it east west would give each one edge over the other. Unless Soviet Ruk is okay with the possibility of Kri taking the more populous and advanced technology wise west. Which if he approves of dividing Russia in two I cannot imagine him taking the "less" one.

According to the OP the Romans had better tech. His idea was former Mongolian nations would be larger and more populous while former Roman nations would be better teched.

Ah ok, I was just guessing because they were in the war for a while before collapsing, I assumed they had the same tech level, but just having a shit load of Mongols is good too.
