Chinese Sakhalin is okay. I wonder what's their degree of control there, though. If it's as historical then it's no more than a couple of tribal elders paying tribute to local governor in Haishenwai

The Emperor of Dai Nam is paying tribute to the Emperor of Japan, and his state functions mostly like Korea 1905-1910 (Japanese protectorate with only very nominal independence). Rest are colonies. I honestly don't know who has claims where, so I just painted over what I would like to have and if that coincides with anyone else's claims, then I'll concede.

(Except for Kurils and if Ep wants to talk about splitting Sakhalin in return for peace & love, I'd happily go to the table)

Not sure if we can do that. Making other nations tribute or such. I think if you want it it would have to be an official colony or part of the nation. Though honestly I personally would prefer the area open as it is one of the remaining viable areas left for a player despite being between two huge nations...that says a lot of what is left in the world Once you post deciding to keep it or not I will add your nation tot he map excluding overlaps-the part in Cascadia overlapping with me and the Kurils until the Russian player, whichever one it is, responds.

Seeing he lacks a coast to the west I think the only really useful allies invading him would be Ukraine, which is a bit small compared to Russia, Scandinavia, the two of whom I believe were thinking over a non aggressive pact, Kurds, who are probably a bit busier with their colonies, Persia, Japan, and China. Though honestly, not to be unfair or nothing, but it should be fair regardless of which two players get Russia. They were both told that the land was reserved for them and both worked on applications.

I am Scandinavia, but if I got substantial backup in a war against Russia, I would do it. I mean, if Britain was going to invade Albania, and then the USA, China, France, Spain, Russia, Australia, India, Brazil all supported it, I think they would.

humble opinion: Denmark is poised for destruction, too much irredentism from Germany and Russia + together, they're much more powerful. And I don't think anyone would rush to their defense (at least I can't see a viable geopolitical ally).

First of all, I should caution that I haven't been posting much here of late and I've tests coming up that I'm absolutely unprepared for so I'll need to keep activity down and all that, but this looks interesting, so...
I'm eyeing Armenia, Aksum, or parts of SE Asia. Not going to reserve them yet, but just a headsup.

There's a little bit of room for a Caucasian state, or a Nubian state, but Aksum itself is claimed over along with virtually all the Middle East.

Probably a bit like Gaul, the tribes of the area were Celtic I think, but with Germans on the fringes, although after a long period of Romanisation it might end up being more like France then Germany, with a Latin based language and all that.
