Dalria, the BoS had set up fortifications along the path to Town 101, so you couldn't just walk there, especially if you were close enough to see bodies.

In my last post I stated that "...No one enters and no one leaves without our clarification..." Although that would be sort of difficult to achieve you were walking up the road, where most of the defenses are. I don't mean to be a dick or anything but my troops aren't that terrible as for people to simply walk past them.

Honestly i would just advise shooting through them.

The Legion at the entrance would love an excuse to kill the folks who dropped two of them the day prior.

Fair enough I understand, the whole idea of the (sort of) barricade was to stop people from being able to get to the Legion and vise versa, if you can think of another way to get past though you should give it a shot!

Shooting works well in my experience.

Their Helmets are fairly bullet resistant but anything armor piercing or large enough in cartridge will just pop through it.

Although i am still waiting for the Prince Fella to cease his auto hit godmoddry so i can get a reply up of sorts ._.

Honestly you figure people would know Auto hit is illegal?

Armour piercing rounds are hard to come by, in terms of Town 101 Im not sure how many it would have, so you might need to conserve them, and civilians would find it very hard to find! Out of question how do energy weapons stat up against armour etc (I can't remember if they have any real bonuses compared to normal bullets) there are still around 35-40 brotherhood members, with some CCC up north (I presumed that they would be there, but no one is playing as them so they can't do anything)

I've been getting on his case about it.

I am reading the fallout wiki now on the Legion. Even with all the failings of the NCR some of the stuff here I can agree with, but things like stealing the children from slaves and raising them separate and such. That just hits a spark for me. As a Christian, if anyone stole my future child.

Come at me bro! Is all I would say.

On another note, I agree with Karr that it is more than an army. With a large amount of territory in Arizona and dozens of tribes they easily have a civilian population, even if it is not seen in game. They would have to for such a large amount of territory.

I wish the developers would have included at least ONE Legion town, that would have made NV 10X better.

I wonder if anybody peeked. :P
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

I'm quite new to RPs, I'm just trying to get involved without spawning a random army, I started this thinking it would be a character based RP and it's turning into armies with a couple of characters trying to get involved, I'll take away the auto-hit but I swear if a guy was sniping at you then a minor wound to the shoulder isn't unreasonable and it wasn't even your character, I can see this just going the way of: 'Oh look, Prince missed again, he's not very good at this sniping business' because people don't want anyone in their army injured.

Name: Katica Vergilas. (Kat-ee-KA Ver-Guh-liss)
Affiliation: Independent.
Age: Twenty Seven.
Species: Human.
Gender: Female.
Appearance: Here.
Personality: Katica seems to be damaged. Not physically, of course. But mentally. She's extremely smart, tactful, and composed, but there is something under all that, something that is untapped and completely in control of her conscious. Her ambition, which is driving and seemingly endless, allowing her to pull through things that would normally both physically and mentally break anyone else. The problem is, is that her ambition is aimed at seemingly nothing. She seems to not only survive in the capital wastes, but thrive in its lawlessness, and she aims to destroy every single person or organization that threatens her way of life. On the outside, she is just as how her insides are. Cold, driven, and completely emotionally apathetic. This is perhaps a good thing in the wastes, which may actually be a defense that her brain has concocted to ensure that the wastes don't get to, or damage her soft, subconscious. She is utterly incapable of making friends or any personal relationships, and would sooner put a bullet in one's head rather than converse with them. That being said, she recognizes the necessity for inter-personal alliances, and, while not particularly gregarious, is able to interact with other humans, though she takes little joy in doing so.

Bio: Having been born and raised in Rivet City, she lived in as comfortable conditions as possible. However, her relationship with her father, the only living part of her family that was left after her mother had died giving birth to her sister, who died shortly after, was strained, to say the least. After her thirteenth birthday, they rarely talked, for her father was an alcoholic, and a violent one at that. After her thirteenth birthday, a violent outburst occurred between her and her drunk father, which ultimately ended in physical scarring for Kat and the death of her father, after Kat had stabbed him in the gut as a self-defense measure. Driven by guilt, she soon left Rivet City in search of a place in which she would be constantly reminded of her poor childhood. Despite the massive amount of danger associated with the Capital Wastes, and despite a few close encounters with super-mutants, she soon found herself, three days after her fourteenth birthday, living in Lamplight Caverns. She lived there for another two years, but was evicted on her sixteenth birthday. After this, she became homeless once again, staying in no one place, but learning, for herself, the dangers and immense power that is contained within the wastes. Soon, with the help of a Chinese Remnant Ghoul, she was able to arm herself with enough weapons to start fighting those in the wastes, rather than running from them.

Soon after this, she had arrived in Megaton, and had heard of the Brotherhood of Steel, and the Slavers, and knew that their goals were to preserve a central government within the Wastes. She knew, so well, that this would end her way of life, and that she would have to settle down once again, something she knew that she couldn't do. She set out on her own, now mutually hostile to both sides. Taking on the name "The Commandant", she posed as the head of a secretive organization, not dissimilar to the Talon Company in the fact that she wanted to preserve the anarchy within the Wastes. She would singlehandedly (Or with a few others) raid Brotherhood posts to get her name out in the Wastes. Se never touched the Slavers, however. Partly out of fear, and partly out of respect, she knew that the legion, if there was a political force to unite the Wastes, should be the one to do it. Still opposed to them, but not overtly hostile. Now, she wanders the Wastes alone, looking for companions, and aid for her cause.
Starting supplies: A Chinese Assault Rifle, a Combat Knife, Ten Stimpacks, assorted amounts of food, fifteen tabs of Radaway, a .357 Revolver, and ammunition for both her weapons.

Eh. I think we mainly need to keep on the same days. Then it doesn't matter as much the hard time. That would just be inconvenient when a scene is much slower than others.

I edited out the post so that it wasn't god-modded in, and come on, with all these armies this is my only real plan of how to get something going for my character and the BoS has sniper rifles. It's not like I've just made my character invincible I've just bought a gun off my contact, also I edited it so it was a model from in the game, if you re-read the post I've edited it so it is now a more believable situation that lead him to getting it.

Still, there's no point. Even in game, you can kill BoS with a handgun if you need to. Even if it takes a long time, and is more likely for you to get killed.

He isn't even going to be fighting Bos, and Legion armor is made from fricken sports gear! Its not like that's bulletproof!

I've been playing FNV, and every encounter between legion and NCR troops I've seen has ended up with no NCR casualties and the Legion loosing all their people..... so they aren't really that difficult to kill.

Really? Odd are you seeing this at early levels or moderate to high?

Because at higher levels the Legionaries tend to have MUCH better Gear.

They tend to wipe the floor with their NCR counterparts in most of my encounters and that may be the reason.

My character isn't exactly a front line fighter, this just feels more natural than finding some weird loophole in their security so I can get inside the compound and then miss from point blank because people don't want their characters to die. The sniper rifle is the natural way of fighting for my character.

Then a simple Hunting Rifle with a scope works just as well for a sniper rifle.

It's the poor-man's sniper, but works just as well. It's actually my main sniper in FNV.
