The next part starts in the height of imperialism, and the CSA will be getting their share too in an early Spanish-American war. British influence will also be heavily felt at this time in Latin America.

Especially in Guyane, which because of increasing immigration from other places (including likely Ireland during the famine), which may threaten French domination over Guyane and thus import a concept (ironically from BNA) to civilize the natives.

Thus, I probably may consider a proposal to be sent to the administrators of British Guiana and Parliament of the UK by the President, Jean-Charles Pichegru to create the United States of Guiana, which will be very loose: besides common passports and foreign policy, a common currency, a common "Senate" or "États Généraux", elected by the people, a diarchy (the President of the United States of Guiana being elected in Guyane, and the Vice-President of the USG being appointed from Whitehall or elected by the citizenry), and two official languages (English and French, although Dutch can be added if Dutch Guiana joins), they are in charge of their own affairs

Or maybe have the Republican Militia aid some rebellious natives in British Guiana and try to get those natives to overthrow the British (or even settlers) and then make them join Guyane. But either way, unless if Dutch Guiana joins, it'd be a bit like a West and East Pakistan situation, except in this case, the capital of the proposed union would be in the smaller east (Guyane, unless if Britain wants the capital of the union in Georgetown).

Brazil would still not surrender it. Brazil would probably just get Germany or some other major power on it's side or just say that it's Brazilian territory and has been since Brazil's creation. Seeing how the Portuguese also controlled it far longer than the colony of French Guyana even existed.

If war arrives i would just not engage the RN and wear the British down in the jungles of the amazon. Thats of course if the British wants to get involved into a war in south America.

Now before things get hairy in the Mideast and China, let's let the summit finish first. As it is I think Britain and Japan could be siding with the Ottomans on this issue.

Yeah. The condominium proposal is probably the best idea without war.

You wouldn't lose more than Hong Kong and Macao most likely, so it won't be too bad.

Nope, Japan and China wouldn't have permitted such a thing, especially in the ATL. There are no port cities in China as of 1835, because of the ATL, and the fact that Japan and Britain are basically guarding China from being focused on by European aggression.

They would've never gotten control of it anyway. Britain, Japan and the Netherlands have been shutting foreign nations out of China since 1776. :P

Ah.

Perhaps I kill off Pichegru when he gets murdered by a Brazilian spy, in 1836 or 1837, and the response was invasion of Amapa.

If we lose Manchuria, all legitimacy will suddenly seem lost and the Yinshi will revolt, the Zuo wanting a monarchy, the You wanting a Republic, the Manzu Liameng wanting to partition China to foreigners (both will agree to ban the Manzu Liameng), and the Zhongxin will split.

So Shrill, in the 1890's, will Britain create dominions out of Canada and what's left of the US, or will they keep direct control because Britainwank?

No, the BNA act will be passed on schedule in 1867, and that will be part of the closing parts of this RP; a brief jump to the 1867 where Britain and the CSA finally make peace, though no serious fighting will have taken place since 1840.

Ah, interesting.

Well, fortunately, by the time the Sino-Turkish War ends, China will be crippled for years to come, Akiko can pass away peacefully, and leave her crown to her son... He's already 50 in 1835, so he'll probably live until about 70, then die in 1855, leaving the crown to his son, Alexander, who will be 36 (same age as Victoria), and yeah.

Also, soon after Akiko's death, Japan will rename itself to a more... pan-Asiatic name. Look back some posts if you want to see it.

Oh yeah, and the monarchs are going to have two names. An English name, and a Japanese name, because I like the idea of an Anglo-Japanese culture somehow emerging because of Britain and Japan becoming closer.

Akiko / Catherine I
George I / Mutsuhito
Alexander I / Naruhito
(so on and so forth)

Akiko / Catherine I
George I / Mutsuhito
Alexander I / Naruhito
(so on and so forth)

We will use the Japanese names, of course.
