Name: Charles Marlow
Age: 38
Personality: Cold and distant after too many years of military service. Still tries to hold onto his humanity, although he feels it slipping away.
Appearance:

Biography: Marlow had a fairly normal childhood growing up in rural Illinois. Following in the steps of his father, he joined the US Army out of high school and proved to be a natural leader and exceptionally intelligent. He was assigned to OCS and graduated as a captain in the 10th Mountain division. He served a tour of duty in Afghanistan in the Korengal valley where he earned a Silver Star for bravery. He returned to the states merely three months before the outbreak hit America in force. He was deployed to New York in an attempt to hold back the infected, but the situation soon got out of hand and Marlow's company was ordered to open fire on a crowd of panicked civilians. Marlow refused and was relieved of his command. He was soon transferred to Boston as a platoon commander and has been there ever since, trying to retain what he sees as the traditional values of the US military.

No, in my post I described a man and a woman (Joel and Tess) running away as the explosion went off, just as they did in the game.

I tried to make it clear that he was insane before he even joined the military. In fact, it was the military that allowed him to hide the fact so well, giving him the discipline he desperately needed.

Personality: Usually laid back, but in action, takes seriousness to a whole new level.
Appearance: Jet Black Hair in a Buzz Cut, Black T-Shirt, Bulletproof Vest, Ragged Jeans
Biography: Growing up in a rural area means you have great pride in your nation, and express your opinion to be free. You expressed this when you started your early schooling, protecting the kids that got bullied. That's why you joined the U.S. Military after completing high school, and also why you continued fighting after the pandemic began. You weren't about to give your freedom up to some brainless, cannibalistic zombies. No way. You wouldn't have it. You had a past, a family, a home, you weren't going to lose them.

He lives with his wife Maria and son John in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After the pandemic began, they moved back into Central Pennsylvania, which was more rural, and far more easy to protect. You'd been living there for 4 years before the U.S. Military found you. They moved you into their closest compound and ever since, you have become a defender of Fort Necessity, with the rank of Corporal, keeping zombie scum off of the walls.
