There were no russian movements to the US ever in the storyline of The Last of Us, and thus I'm not going to allow it. I never played Last of Us, but I'm doing some research.

No cell phones, no computers, radio but that's controlled by the military, no working cars. Unless you find one that was in a underground parking lot or something, basically they're really rare.

Actually Gaveo, since they send radio waves through the air and don't rely on any infrastructure for operation, a handheld radio would work for anybody, though CB's have a little better range and you can amp the signal for longer distances.

US Military Application
Name: John Snowden

Personality: Quiet, Brave, Respectful

Biography: John was born in a backwater town in Indiana and was practically raised to be shooting. He was well known for being able to get the squirrels and deer he wanted but he really didn't have much career options. Opting to use his shooting background to his advantage, he joined the US Army at the age of 18. Once joined he was deployed to Iraq to root out enemy positions. Taking a bullet in the gut, he was sent home with a Purple Heart. He was not discharged however, as his family pulled some strings to keep him in. He loved the Army life. Once he recovered he was deployed to Saudi Arabia at the age of 20 to guard the embassy there. For two years there wasn't much heard from him, he didn't really have to worry. Saudi Arabia wasn't that dangerous. Then the infection happened. The US Army immediately pulled him and and the guards out whenever the infection began spreading out of quarantine. He was deployed to Boston to set up a safe zone for survivors. There he did his job and did it well. But later on he would come to find out that his parents had died out there, while he was in a safe zone. The loss consumed him and he has never been the same. Armed with an M16A2.
Roleplay Ex. (Except Invites):I looked around, muttering. You were missing, again. This was becoming a problem that really hurt me. You always left the TV on though, I don't really know why you did. I could never seem to get control of my nerves, I was too shaken up to open the door and go out looking for you, instead I merely sat in my bed, waiting. After a while of you not coming back, I got really scared. This wasn't normal. I ran to the door, a bit too fast and ran into it. It didn't feel nice, but I was determined. After calming myself a bit, I got the door open and went out. It was my first time out looking for you, but hopefully it would be the last. I went off in the direction where I smelled your perfume, hoping to find you. After some distance, I came up to an alley where the smell stopped. You were crumpled up in a heap, blood pooling everywhere. I cried out and frantically ran to you. But there was nothing I could do. You were dead. A passerby saw me by you and called the police, but you were dead. I was crushed. When the officer came over, he found stab wounds on you and your cash gone. Suddenly, he turned and picked me up, stating "Come on puppy, you don't need to be here."

His father was named Charles and his mother was named Kate. He was always interested in law enforcement since he was a little kid. His father was killed in a robbery at the age of 13, oddly enough he became the man of the house protecting his family and being a leader to both Jacob and Christina. He did very well in high school and college. After that he joined the Atlanta Police and rose through the ranks rather quickly. He even had a family with two twins (Kevin Jr. and Alex) and a gorgeous wife (Victoria). Days before the outbreak really caught on he flew to Pittsburgh to see an old friend. That's when everything went to shit, he survived but his friend was bitten and he had to kill him. He wanted to go back to Atlanta to see his family but couldn't. He didn't join the military when they took over and just lived his life by following their rules. When chaos started to erupt in Pittsburgh he left, mainly fearing that the military would lose and since he was once a figure of authority, he would be targeted by the Fireflies and/or the natives. He walked from Pittsburgh to the outskirts of Hartford when he discovered things were bad there too. He eventually settled somewhere south of Boston where he has been trading, hunting and scavenging for supplies.
