Hardly. And it's become boring because there's barely anything allowed any more, and creativity seems to be punished more than anything.
Hell, even characters that were accepted before are denied in this particular incarnation. It just doesn't make any sense.

Why isn't magic actually allowed? Alot of superhero shows have magic users, it has it's ups and downs like any other power, and it is difficult to draw a line to when it's a power or when it's magic. What does it matter if the person shoots ice because some mutation grew a new organ or whatever, or they gained it from an amulet bestowing magical ice powers. Only cause more diversity in character development and uniqueness wile their level off powers and skills are relatively the same.

While I agree the magic rule is stupid considering that CSS even controls a magician who is a part of the Elite 6, but with everything else I have to disagree. It isn't that only boring characters are being accepted, it's that you think the characters are boring. I generally find most of the characters in this game to be interesting. That part is more of an opinion thing, and not something that really can/should be argued about.

I found these characters interesting at first, but I'm getting bored of most of them.

Well, right now it's basicly every person who rp's even slightly good end up fighting on the side of the UV's, no real intern conflict or anything. Anyone who roleplays on the evil side all try to do their own stuff, find crime syndicates whatever but unless they're the main villain of said arc they end up basicly doing nothing.

What if something caused the UV to get disbanded and instead of it being good guys vs bad guys, everyone will have to find their own way, and just because you're a hero and the person you meet is also a hero doesn't mean you're allies anymore. And a hero meeting a villain wouldn't necesairly be enemies in that situation.
