That depends how far they've moved from. It's three days of being unable to attack you for every region they passed through on their way, as they retreat home in a slow rout and have to be reorganized.

Hmm, sounds like that's what I want. I assume I am able to attack them whilst this slow rout is taking place? Like, harass them with cavalry archers whilst they march along and such.
If that is the case, I'd like to take the ring power.

Actually, that's accounted for in the retreating mechanics. Once they rout using your power, they are effectively fleeing battle- you'll inflict 20% of the difference between your two strengths as damage as they run awaaaayyy.
