A superhuman RP (Interest)

Postby Zeinbrad » Tue Jul 23, 2013 7:23 am

Hello there everyone, I'm Zeinbrad your humble host/hostess. As you can tell this is a Superhuman RP, set in a world where the holy empire of Castleham has taken over most of the known world. The year is 1908, but there is modern cars, assault rifles, Anti-Material rifles, Main battle tanks and modern medicine. This is Code Geass based. Except without Mechs but guys with Superpowers. The main setting is that their are two sides, the Holy Empire of Castleham, and the Resistance. There are minor nations that will not come into play but where your character can come from. Basically the idea is that you either play as Supers on the Castleham or Resistance side, that make up the special forces of the group. This will a episodic RP, with small scale RPs, and a focus on character development and fun. So anyone interested?

Also we need a starting plot.

Well, I can certainly say you've caught my interest! I've always been a loving fan of Code Geass, so I'm automatically in should this start flying soon enough. In terms of plot, well, generally could work around perhaps some characters, ourselves, being members of a spec ops unit in the Castleham military getting a bit fed up with the injustices and hypocrisy rife within the system. Instead of staying within the system and changing from the inside, we intend perhaps to directly change it from without, the outside, hoping it'll be quicker and our talents will give the Resistance the edge it needs to influence the direction of Castleham policies regarding certain likely controversial topics in a CG-inspired universe: discrimination, near-slavery, conquests, government, corruption, etc.

Obviously, we'd have to begin with some form of us escaping whatever our current location would be, whether we're deep behind enemy lines or within some heavily fortified Castleham military base whilst we await further orders or whatnot. We'd have to stage our escape, or maybe even fake our own deaths, or otherwise cause enough chaos where we can slip away in the confusion. Regardless, we then need to come in contact, peacefully, with rebel forces of one sort or another. Of course, we wouldn't be accepted immediately given how much pain and damage we'd caused them to begin with, knowing our roles as spec ops agents of the highest expertise and experience. Or, we don't even tell the rebels that, and initially, or the entire time even, deceive them and pretend to have been a secret group of people with talents that would otherwise mean our deaths or servitude under the bootheels of Castleham nobles, who likely control all the important and powerful aspects of society within Castleham.

I have a few more ideas pertinent to this thread, related to the large one I just proposed, but I'll wait for your response before putting those forward.

Of course, this is all speculation and the work of just maybe five minutes of thinking and typing like mad, so it's all quite rough as you can see.

Anyways, I do hope this gains some interest! Until then, cheers as always.

Hmm. Hit me with your other ideas.

I may tell you that some can play on the Castleham side. In fact I want some too so we have villains.

Pity this hasn't really gotten off.

Hmm. I was thinking of a character perhaps a bit like Schniezel, combined with maybe a character from Baccano, like Vino or Ladd Russo, since they have an interesting bloodthirsty, psychopathic side to them.

Well that's silly, isn't it?
